We love North Metro! Especially Coach Johnny, Coach Katie, and Coach Quint! The staff are so pleasant, great with kids, and knowledgeable.

Our gym (Balance Gymnastics) competed in the Gym Stars meet at North Metro last weekend, and we had a fantastic experience. The meet was well organized and efficiently run. The bleacher seating and extra chairs on the floor allowed plenty of room for parent viewing. The girls left the meet with confidence and many medals.

We’ve been happy with our kids’ classes here for years and recently booked a birthday party, as well. They took care of everything and provided so much fun for all the kids. The owners and coaches for their classes are amazing and we couldn’t recommend this facility enough!

We have been with this gym over three years now. All the coaches and staff help instill the importance of being a young person finding joy in a sport, all the while supporting them to grow as an athlete. We are grateful for NMGC and the programs they’ve built both recreational and competitive teams.

I signed my daughter up for a trial class over the phone with Heather, who was very helpful and polite. My family and I showed up for the trial class and there was no one at the front desk. We looked around for someone to assist us for about 5 minutes then a young girl emerged from gym/mat area. She did not greet us or apologize for having us waiting. She proceeded to ask which class my daughter was in with an attitude and told me there was no class that time. At this point, my husband decided it was time to leave and walked out with our daughters. I showed the girl at the front desk the confirmation email with the class details and she was finally able to find it. I decided to leave because my first experience was already ruined by the poor customer service we received upon entering the facility and even my daughter said she wanted to go somewhere else. Bottom line, first impressions are everything and who you have sitting at the front desk of your business, greeting & interacting with customers, can make or break your business. I got a bad vibe from this place and it’s unfortunate because one person had the power to create such a negative experience.

A great place to have a children’s birthday party.
The kids can play on the main floor & the celebration is upstairs.

We have been going to North Metro for 6 years. My daughter started at 3 and is still loving gymnastics at age 8. We have had multiple different coaches through the years abs have enjoyed all of them.

We have been going to this gym since last fall. We have had an excellent experience in both the boys and girls classes. Due to moving a lot, this is the third gym we’ve been to, and it is as good or better than anywhere else we’ve been.

Love the instructors, my daughter loves them more. They are always caring, kind and the owners are just as good. If you are serious into gymnastics and you are a beginner North Metro is it!

My two boys have been going here now for a few years (oldest is 11 now, youngest is 2.5) and we love it. My oldest also goes to their parents night out and has a lot of fun. Neither of my boys is looking to do competitive gymnastics but they both have a lot of fun and gain other skills that help them.

The first several months my 3 year old granddaughter had a blast here ! We just started going back after covid and she is with 4 year olds now. I am very disappointed in the instructor. She is very harsh, hardly smiles and is not a motivating Instructor at all. These kids are 4 years old. She has made kids cry, and I have seen parents speak to her about the way she is with these kids. She does not belong with the young kids! We are not going back to this place because of this instructor! I don’t want this lady to break my granddaughter’s spirit, it should be fun for this age group!!!

They are the best. I am grandma so I hadn't taken her there before. They were very helpful. The lady manning the desk even helped frazzled me with my phone as well. Great place and staff

Horrible place to host a competition. Started
over an hour late. Glad it's not our home gym, that would be embarrassing. Scores rarely posted to monitors. Also not posted at all online like all other competitions. Also, showed online $6 per person to enter, they charged $10 at the door. Ha.

Inconsistent at best.

They have a strange way of forming classes in where skill levels are all over the place. The results end up being that advancement and development comes very slow except to those who are in the already advanced classes. Classes were also large and somewhat disorganized, allowing the kids to get distracted easily.

The viewing area is uncomfortable to sit in. Dusty and hard wood bleachers meet you upstairs. Even worse is that it's not nearly enough room when they have the competitions for the kids. Spending 3 or so hours with that many parents and siblings packed in that tiny space will try anyone's patience.

Communication was a real frustration. There was no feedback from the girls coaches and the boys coaches only provided any when the kids were not focused. We were occasionally caught unaware when then the gym was putting on competitions for the kids, of which were accompanied by surprise additional costs. Also, do not expect responses to your emails. Phone calls sometimes, but don't be surprised if you're just completely ignored.

Worst place ever. The receptionist is very rude and too busy with her cellphone. Their customer service needs a lot of improvements: During the month of May for two weeks we went to the classes on our corresponding day and nobody was there and no one had the decency to let people know that there was not going to be a class. We weren’t the only ones that that happened, another lady was there with her daughter wondering why nobody was there for the scheduled class. When we asked the receptionist what happened, she said there was a meet somewhere, when we asked her how come no one let us know about it she said we should have read the announces on the door, which first of all it’s not on the door but on the wall close to the door and how were we supposed to know that we had to read the announces there. During the registration they tell you, one can retake the missed classes on Saturday or another day but their choices of classes for the kids group ages is very limited. So, for the month of May I paid for the full month which was supposed to be 4 classes and we only got two classes and no way to take the other two classes. Also, they have this policy that you have to let them know two weeks in advance if you don’t want to continue taking classes with them or you have to pay a $35 fee, but if the two weeks fell over next month you still have to pay $35 for the week on the new month which doesn’t correspond to a week but two weeks as their monthly fee is $70. When I paid the receptionist $40 for the $35 fee she asked if I wanted my change!!!! Of course I wanted my change the fee is $35 and beside what about the two weeks on May that they decided to don’t show up and not even had the courtesy to let people know. Ridiculous!!! Some teacher are rude, one day one of the teachers was pulling a little girl pony tail to tell her to straighten up her head. The waiting area for parents is filthy and it stinks. Overall not a good place at all.

Went here for a birthday party. The staff was very dull and did not seem interested in helping with ANYTHING. No pep or excitement from ANY of the 3 girls helping for a little girls BIRTHDAY PARTY!!! The party room that was provided was covered in dust! Not one of the girls offered to help during the cake cutting/ passing out to all the children. Would never recommend this place for a party. Waste of money!!!

Tried calling for days... no one answers the phone. Showed up for a trial class - loved the teacher. She left a note for someone to call to get my daughter registered, but no one ever called. It's a shame!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!! If you are looking for a solid gymnastics and tumbling program, look elsewhere. The convenience of this place is not worth the money. You definitely do not get your moneys worth here and the quality of instruction is subpar. In the 10 months that our daughter was here, she had at least 7 different instructors. Instructors did not run an organized class and also did not know how to nix girl drama. The pace of the class was very slow due to differences in the skillsets of the students. There are much better programs where your child will actually come out with better skills.

This gym sucks we just had a competition for metro classic 2014. The scoring was incorrect and they placed the girls in incorrect age groups when giving out awards. It's unorganized, when giving out the metals there is no clear description of what event it was for. At the end of giving out the awards and a few parents questioning what they were doing an explanation was given that they have the new Windows 8 software and it was malfunctioning. The organization from the beginning of the music to the end of the award giving was terrible.
