Staff member, Jake helped me sign up for Silver Sneakers classes today. He was very personable, knowledgeable about club offerings n policies, assisted me in downloading the Onelife app and showed the class' studio location. Such a nice young man and made my entrance to Onelife Fitness center a positive experience! Thanks, Jake. Great job. Nita Roberts

Could not have had a better customer service as I experienced with the general manager Luke. He really cares for his members and listens to concerns. He is an asset to this club and members. Great location, clean and excellent gym. Thank you Luke for making this a great place to workout.

The staff is fantastic and hence the stars, but the business charges an annual maintenance fee and you can tell that very little goes to updating the machines. The place is large and offers many different rooms, but has limited plates, dumbbells and no duplicates of commonly used equipment (which creates a bottleneck). Overall the equipment is ancient. It’s as if this gym is where all the other locations drop off their broken and outdated equipment.
Update: January 2025
Ice machine broken, water fountain broken, toilets clogged, urinals broken, machines broken and over crowded. Staff is still fantastic! Yet the gym is crumbling to the ground.
Update: Nov. 2025
New weights! Nice job ownership! Now we are talking!

I stopped by for a day pass drop-in, two days in a row. It is one of the nicest gyms of visited. The layout is really great. It definitely didn't feel crowded. I used the free weights, machines and sauna. They have two great functional fitness areas, a pool, a hot tub, spinning studio, cinema cardio.... I didn't use those but they looked great. The locker room is one of the nicest gym locker rooms, with sauna in the locker room, next to showers. It was perfect.

I originally joined this gym two weeks before the Covid shut down. And I was so impressed with the way they let me suspend and eventually end my membership that five years later when I started thinking about finding a gym, I was inclined to come back here and I’m glad I did. I spend most of my time in the yoga studio and the pool, but this gym has everything I could possibly imagine wanting or needing and the people are just great! The hours are really good. They work for people like me who wanna get a work out before 6 AM and people who prefer their evenings.

They have classes but the free ones here are like zumba and yoga type stuff. The ones I'd actually want to take (HIIT and other strenuous stuff) cost extra and shut down a room that I like to use, right when I'm able to get to the gym. So that's frustrating and disappointing. Gyms I've been to previously had those kinds of classes at no extra cost. But I guess that keeps the base price lower than what it would otherwise be.
Other than that, though, it's a pretty good gym. It's spacious, has a good mix of equipment/machines/etc. It's not too crowded, has a range of ages and abilities, isn't intimidating, is pretty utilitarian, neither super fancy nor spartan and grungy. The staff at the front are very nice; haven't interacted with anyone else.
A family plan would be nice. I'm kind of on the fence about paying full adult membership price for my teenaged kids; for now, during the summer, I'm making them go regularly enough, but once school starts back up, I can't imagine it'll be worth it.
[Updated: I think they recently shortened their hours to end at 6pm on weekends. Or if it was always that way, Google had it wrong up until a day or two before the day I wanted to do a weekend late workout with my daughter. Either way, I wish they didn't close early on weekends.]

Thank you so much, I now look forward to going to the gym, the kids, too! I’d give more than 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ‘s if I could!

Gym quality has dwindled within the last year or so. Broken/ damaged equipment - (theres a machine thats been out of order for almost a couple months) operational issues (outlets in the whirlpool and swim area dont work. Whirlpool is never hot, just lukewarm. Sauna is unpredictable.) I only come to this gym cause its close to my work and I can get a workout in after I am off. Staff are friendly and helpful. Fairly clean locker room.

My husband and I usually come during the week, but today we decided to bring our baby and try out the ClubKid service. It was a great experience! The staff was super friendly, the environment feels safe, and everything is clean and well organized.
📸 In the photo, our son testing the leg press machine… the perfect weight for a 14 month old is 10 oz per leg 😄. Definitely the gym’s youngest member!

I have been coming to One Life for 9+ yrs now. A few yrs ago their longterm management and team members left, trainers have remained the same for the most part, they are great! I personally do not utilize them but a lot of the other local community parents do.
My biggest qualms with this location is they don’t deep clean EVER! The rafters, fans, and in-between the stationary machines have years of collected dust and dead skin. And the sauna… they let it get so bad every few years that they eventually replace the boards… Even the padded workout matts have years of hair and dust in the cracks. It’s honestly extremely gross. Deep cleaning in any public facility should happen quarterly aligned with closed days/ holidays, minimum 2x a year (don’t be cheap One Life, pay a service or use the local high school kids).
Lastly, they over sold their memberships years ago.
The only reason I still come is because I can literally walk here. But the only time it’s not packed is 5:30am - 7am and any time after 9pm during the weekdays. On weekends don’t ever try to come before 1pm…

Was a great gym when it started but it has really gone downhill. Many of the TV's don't work or are all tuned to the same station. I saw two people trip on bags others left on the floor on two separate occasions. Even though, there are signs up that say "no equipment bags on floor", they don't enforce anything. There is going to be a significant accident there someday.
People often just sit for several minutes on equipment using their phones or chatting with people.
Machines are often needing repairs. It's frustrating to see a nice gym start to fall apart

We've come here for a few years. It's been a positive experience. Other than the holidays, it's never overly crowded. Though it does fill up in prime time. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.
We also do Zone 4, which is great (I've never done fitness classes before this and find it to be a good motivational environment that allows me in my own headspace, while fostering the "peer pressure" to go harder).
I see a ton of bad reviews for this location regarding tough cancellation policies and shady business practices. While I can't comment on them, I can say that when I needed to postpone my membership for a month due to travel, the request was accommodated with no hassles.
Having other locations in the area add to the convenience factor.
We recommend Onelife.

Decent gym, but their business practices are appalling and shameful. I purchased a one-month temporary pass, as I was moving out of the country the following month—a fact I explicitly communicated to them. However, without my knowledge, the General Manager forged my signature, changed my email to prevent notifications, and fraudulently signed me up for a one-year contract. To make matters worse, she even added a fake, nonexistent person to the contract.
It took me three exhausting months of back-and-forth with their support team to void the clearly illegal contract, stop unauthorized charges and receive a refund. While they may greet you with a smile, beware—these one-star reviews paint an accurate picture of the kind of business experience you can expect here.

Egregious cancellation. I emailed initially on 8/1 and wasn’t responded to after I followed up on 8/23. Thus, they are trying to bill me for another cycle for September to October after I move away! 3 week replies for a cancellation is insane and should not be blamed on the customer! If a manager sees this, I’d be happy to settle the balance for September with no fees and no charge for September to October!

Excellent gym that I’ve been going to for over a year now. Great vibe in here overall, with mostly functional machines. Great selection of cables, free weights, and other equipment. This place desperately needs a second pec-dec; every time I need to use the one here 4-5 people surround it like a bunch of vultures, which makes using it pretty awkward. Other than that, this place is great. By far the best of the OneLives I’ve been to.

Would give 2.5 stars if possible.
Pros: The staff are all fantastic, very nice, welcoming, and accommodating of any questions or needs the members have. The gym is pretty nice, and it seems like they try to keep it clean. The movie theater cardio room is a cool idea, I haven’t seen something similar at a lot of other gyms.
Cons: The equipment doesn’t get updated very often, and some of the dumb bells look like they haven’t been replaced since the gym opened. They also lack duplicates of some very commonly used machines (pec deck, hack squat) which can mean waiting around especially during peak hours. They use a different company to handle billing and that company makes it as difficult as possible if you want to pause or cancel your membership.
Overall, not great, not terrible.

My wife and I have two kids under two years of age and we drive the extra distance to the Holly Springs location because the daycare at Crabapple is awful, simply put. I don’t care to take the time to elaborate but there is a night & day difference in the daycare. My daughter is excited to go to Holly Springs, while I have to bribe her into the Crabapple gym. I try again every 6 months thinking it has to be better but it never is.. so disappointing because Crabapple is much more convenient for our family but Holly Springs is clearly much better operated and managed.

DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE, now don’t get me wrong it is a nice gym but I bought a membership here in December with the intention of going quite often, however with soccer season starting and the gym being 20 mins from my house I never have time to go. Because of this I have tried to cancel my membership 4 different times online through the app. Then I have sent an official cancellation letter which I have had no response to in any way. So just keep it in mind that if you are not going to be using this gym consistently and getting your moneys worth you will be stuck paying month after month without a way to cancel the membership because staff simply ignores the request too.

This gym is unethical at best borderline criminal is more like it. While living in Georgia we enjoyed the facilities and classes just fine but in May of 2022 we moved from the state across the country. Before we left we “canceled” in person was told great just follow it up with an email; no email address was provided but we used the crabapple email address thinking that was acceptable. Since then we have emailed repeatedly, sent a certified letter, blocked the merchant with our credit card (they change their merchant id number regularly so it only works temporarily) and still have managed to get charged every month. Only today after I threatened to call the police and file a fraud charge was I informed there was a “special” email address for cancellations. Their own records show that we haven’t stepped foot in the gym in over 600 days. Yet, we have been charged consistently even though we have tried again and again to cancel. Beware it’s great while it lasts but when you want to leave it will cost you loads of money, time and energy.

To me it doesn't mater how nice your facility is if you have no integrity.

It isn’t often that I take the opportunity to write a scrupulous review about a Fitness Instructor, but in this instance my words are an understatement to describe the zealousness and monumental delivery that Suki, the Zumba instructor, brings not only to our class, but to OneLife Fitness as a whole. The time she invests into her choreography to ensure that the delivery of her class is soulful is profound. The way she uses her gift of dancing to edify those around her is something you cannot put a price on. Ernest and I truly appreciate the dedication that Suki puts in. It is rare to find someone who so intentionally uses their energy as a channel of proclivity to spread the joy and gratitude within themselves to those of us in class. We cannot say enough about the quality of Suki’s class as a whole. All day we have been speaking of how today’s class was the best ZUMBA class either of have ever taken in our lives (which speaks volume, as we both have taken countless classes with instructors, ZES’s, etc). OneLife- you found an amazing gal! ☺️

This review is because of the air conditioning and is not a reflection of the staff. I give the staff 5 stars.
The one star is because the air conditioning has been broken for a while now and there’s no excuse as to why it’s broken in the middle of summer with 90° days. The reason it’s a big deal is because it basically feels like you might as well be outside during your workouts, especially in the powerlifting room and (used to be basketball court) secondary weight lifting room. Also, there’s equipment in the powerlifting room that was coming apart as I was using it.
OneLife, what’s your plan to fix this?
P.S. - I don’t want a generic “HR/ I’m sorry to hear…” answer to this. This isn’t the social media manager’s responsibility, it’s the decision maker for OneLife Crabapple. I know there’s been other complaints but no response. Unacceptable.
July 19 Update - OneLife has fixed the air conditioning issue and responded to my review and listened to what I said. Updated to four stars!

SCAM ALERT!! Signed up for personal training for 12 weeks. Trainer was late, didn't show up, scheduled wrong days, and was sick. Lost count of the sessions. Went to cancel when I thought I had 4 sessions left but found out there was 3 left. So they wanted to charge me another month for not giving them a 1 month notice. No empathy on their part. Came home canceled my credit card. Will never go there again. I think this is dome by design to scam you out of money. NEVER sign up with recurring payment. They can fleece your account, even if you put a stop payment on you card. Luckily, I do monthly payments but still cancelled my card out of an abundance of caution.
Heads Up! The Auto Reply is just that, an auto reply. They are not responding to my email. Buyer beware. It is like the Hotel California. You can check in, but you can't check out!

I loved this gym , but now it getting worse and worse. Men shower doesn’t have hot water longer than month. Today hot tub was cold! We were waiting whole week when we can come and sit in hot tub. We are very upset and will think to cancel our membership

Completely lied to me regarding cancellation in order to get me to sign up my family. Never informed me it is a 12 month agreement with an early cancellation fee and buy out option + last months dues + any dues that process in the next 30 days. Very unhonest when asked during sign up.

I like the amenities here and the separate gyms within the gym in rooms that are almost hidden. The Sauna and whirlpool are great and consistently maintained. Plenty of stairmasters and treadmills and squat racks in the side room.
Only downside is the amount of kids here. It really should be 18 and up if not 21 and up. And I have a sneaking suspicion if you are an adult and come alone, they have some kids' parent follow you around here for whatever reason. Don't let your kids join and adult gym if you are paranoid about other adults and leave your conspiracy theories out of the gym!

Great gym! Cost effective and super nice.
The missing star is thanks to maybe the dumbest men in the Milton/crabapple area that can’t seem to understand how to use a sauna without breaking it every few months. Dude you drank 90 IPA’s this week, the extra 15 degrees you gain with a wet paper towel on the thermostat ain’t the fix….

Do yourself a favor and DON'T sign your kids up for the family plan! Called to request cancellation for our child who is under 16yrs old and was told "they can't cancel unless they move..." Completely ridiculous! After further argument they agreed to cancel for a $100 fee! Unbelievable! Worst customer service experience and the policy towards kid memberships is awful!!!

My fiancée and I are from out of town and needed a gym for the weekend. Not only did Onelife satisfy each of our gym-related needs, but they have many amenities and affordable commodities that make the Onelife experience more than worthwhile. Specifically, my fiancée and I have so far enjoyed their in-house tanning salon (free to members), their salt water pool, their versatile weight room, and their in-house movie theatre where you can run on the treadmill while watching a theatre-style movie!
Throughout our time here, we were helped by Onelife employee Hani Himmo. Not only did we find him to be very warm, kind, and personable, but he consistently went above and beyond in meeting our needs as guests to the gym. He made our experience all the more worth while, and he is a huge part behind why we will keep coming back to Onelife in the future!

Don’t waste your money. If you ever try to get out of your membership they will screw you even if you are moving to another state such as Alaska where one life does not exist….they make you write letters. Send in pay stubs, utility bills. Proof of new residence just to cancel a 20 dollar membership for a 14 year old.
I finally got so fed up dealing with them I just paid the year off. They people are used car salesman and basically run a criminal enterprise when it came Mrs to memberships. They will screw u.
Good riddance

Hits ... Clean gym. For those that are complaining about cleanliness, you haven't been to other gyms. Plenty of good equipment for the gym size.
Misses ... Not enough plates for anyone to use the benches. If one person is using leg press, there are zero remaining. Tons of teenagers, being teenagers. Pretty much taking up space hanging out. This is definitely a family fitness center. Accept that and its all good.

It's a clean and nice GYM. Wish the ♿ handicap stalls would have shower chair that you could sit on while you get dressed. Be aware that you have to walk thru the gym to get to the pool and hot tub. There is a second women's locker room closer to the pool area but it only has one handicap stall. But you don't have to walk thru the gym.
The water is nice and hot in the hot tub. Lots of different workout equipment. Staff is friendly. There is a machine that helps get rid of excess water from your bathing suit. Only problem you have to bring in your own plastic bag.

Quality of the gym overall is good, nice equipment and facilities but the customer service is most important to me and so I won’t be re-newing or recommending to

Josh..some form of manager made excuses and actually blamed me, the customer, that his staff didn't place notes in properly about my desire to place my account on hold due to Covid. It isnt my fault that Covid has impacted their business. By not telling me correct information, I was charged additional fees in an attempt to follow the process and cancel my account. He then was flip and smart on the phone about the event. It only proves that my purchase if an elliptical and Peleton is better money spent that being part of One Life at Crabapple! Don't join...it isnt worth it

This gym is short on plates for bench press machines. Incline bench press often has no plates available so you have to borrow from other places. Today I wanted to use resistance bands for rotator cuff exercises; after much searching I found them in the group fitness area locked up. When I asked for help getting them unlocked they told me the instructors have the keys and they couldn’t help.

I like the gym, especially how the powerlifting area is separate from the main floor, but it seems like I’m always trying to find plates and barbell clamps. Not sure if it’s because they don’t have enough or if people constantly misplace them but dang is it frustrating.
One of the trainers here, Chase is super awesome and I do look forward to seeing him here, however the management here could use some work. I brought up a piece of broken equipment and was given no response combined with a look of “wtf do you want me to do about this.” Equipment is still broken 2 weeks later as I’m writing this.
Tons of teenagers here, but I’m finding that to be a theme of every Onelife these days so it is what it is.

Stayed as long as I could stand it. When this place was owned by Atlanta Fitness it was good. The management here(Amber) and their corporate office just give excuses of why the gum isn't CLEAN? Why the employees are so unfriendly and the equipment is always dirty and no staff out cleaning...or why have sanitizer dispensers that are ALWAYS empty. Then they send out surveys...but never change their course of practice. So me and my girls are leaving and we are sharing with other members better options for fitness in our area...if they so choose

When you try to cancel your membership you get caught in a scam involving a nefarious ABC financial (I'm not kidding that's their name) and you will get the endless runaround while they contineto syphon money from your account. Thinking about joining?, don't. Thinking about quitiing? Do it now before ABC (already been conned) claims another victim.

Very disappointed in this location I worked out several times and I would say 12 out of 15 people never wiped down there equipment despite signs everywhere saying to do so, also walking around in locker room no shirt and barefoot just nasty, hell it's just sickening i can clearly see we will have an outbreak in there area of not all ready they just dont care. The club has done a great job putting cleaning stations out and signs but doesn't do much good if people just dont care!! Despite all of that your all in my prayers..

I had my daughter registered to onelife fitness in February 2019 and at registration I specifically asked the manager whether we could cancel our membership any time we want. And he said we definitely can cancel any month we want. Due to our heavy schedule we could not take our daughter to fitness and asked them to stop our membership in March. They asked us to write them an email. We did but they continued to charge our Amex card. Then after a month I asked them again what to do. They said to send them not an email but a letter for cancelation. I did that too but nothing has changed. They continued charging my credit card. I asked Amex to inquire the case and Onelife told them that My daughter needs doctor report so that they can cancel the membership. Ten months passed already but they keep charging me. Please somebody help me to get rid of these people !!! These people our crooks and make sure that you don’t fall into same trap.

I've been a member for a year now, and I like it. I usually go to the one on Hammond, but I'll be staying near Crabapple for a couple of weeks so I'll going to that one for the most part until I leave this part of town.
I just lift there, nothing else. There's a space called Functional Fitness (no idea why) that now contains some powerlifting and some (a couple) strong man implements. I've been begging the location at Hammond to get an SSB bar so I can squat when I aggravate a shoulder injury. They haven't yet (still holding out hope), but the one in Crabapple has one. I'm excited about trying it soon.
The clientele tends to be split between high school kids and their parents, and retired folks. Of course, that seems to be the demographics of that area.
It's not huge - although far from small - as far as gyms go, but they efficiently use their space. There's quite a bit and variety of equipment there.
It's you're in the market for a gym, give this place a shot.

Members and potential members BEWARE! The only thing that will be sufficient enough for the staff to "allow" you to cancel your membership is an alien abduction or death. Since when did simply paying a cancellation fee not suffice if you felt the gym was not a good fit for you. They rope you in, and make it nearly impossible to get out of their clutches. Could explain the reason their clubs are popping up every where...

While this gym has a lot of equipment and plenty of activities for adults to take advantage of, it's billing practices are downright shady and remind me of car salesman tactics. If you cancel your membership, you incur all these fees that they do not disclose to you up front. Their billing company ABC Financial is no help as they are just enforcing contract agreements and do not offer any sort of customer service to remedy billing disputes. Ultimately if you cancel you have to pay for another month's worth of gym time plus your fee goes up for going off auto pay. Then they don't even send you a final bill. They send text messages saying there is an issue with your account. One Life can do better than this. They just don't because they want your money...

They will do or say anything to get you hooked onto those monthly payments. Remember gyms make their money off of the people who don't use their product but still pay for it. They charged me a "club enhancement fee" of 40 dollars ONE DAY before my membership ended because I was moving out of state. I have been a member of this club on and off for years and enjoyed my time there, but the people running this place are a bunch of con artists.

We love this gym! We purchased memberships before the gym was even built and lived through the growing pains of remodeling. The gym is clean, the staff is great and the enhancements are wonderful! We do several group classes as well as work with individual trainers and exercise independently. We have our favorites, but we have enjoyed all the group class instructors as well as trainers. This is a very "family friendly" gym which gives a relaxed feel overall. I saw where others were upset about issues cancelling memberships. Not sure why they have had issues. We adopted two teens, added them, all the kids grew and moved out, some come back for summers, add tanning, drop tanning - the list goes on! We are constantly adding and dropping memberships and features and have never had an issue. You do have to put it in WRITING, which I know some techies can't grasp, but it is seamless then :) Highly recommend this gym!!

Nice programs and facility. Except no pool. Also not recommended if you are here for less than a year. Getting out of contract because you moved is a huge hassle. I had to move after 6 months and it took the remaining 6 months to get out of the year long contract because the proof of new address with billings and other legal documents "get lost in emails". Got ripped off even after their policy clearly stated that I can get out of the contract without penalty if I happen to move out of vicinity of their clubs.
