Orange Theory Sandy Springs have lost a customer for good, unfortunately. I needed to cancel my membership because my schedule at the moment didnβt allow me to consistently attend class the way I would have liked. I completed the cancellation form and emailed it to Brooke as directed. I sent Brooke 3 follow up emails in total on different days asking if she could confirm receipt of my cancellation form. I never received a response. So I stopped by the studio today because I finally had time, and she was there. I asked if she received my emails and she said yes. I said I didnβt see a response back from you as I asked confirming receipt. She said she got busy. So basically I took time to send 3 emails (which she says she read) but she was too busy to send a 1 word response back to say βReceivedβ. Wow! Meanwhile when I stopped past the studio today she was just sitting at the reception desk not looking very busy. So, in the future, Iβll give a different fitness facility in the area my business. The good news is thereβs plenty.

They will never stop calling you don't request information. They vall everyday multiple times. I even blocked the number but still call and leave voice mails almost daily.
Edit: almost a year from the intial free class inquiry and after never once getting back to them answering their phone calls or following up still continue to get phone calls from them monthly. I have them blocked but still leave voice mails. They will never leave you alone

I have been a member of OTF since 2018 and have enjoyed the workouts. Itβs expensive but hard to beat the workouts. I would recommend to anyone that is looking for challenging workout with a mix of running, rowing and weights.

I literally just went to try to enroll in their fitness program and their doors were locked during business hours. Yet they were all in there working out. If you are not going to be open at the Roswell road fitness location DURING business hours , donβt post your hours online or on your calls. I will being going to LA fitness instead. Avoid this location!

I liked that the workout came with a lot of guidance, while still allowing you to do your own thing! There was variety, intensity, and all kinds of burn, ha. My cousin lost 100lbs with OTF!!!, and my twin is close to 15lbs. I can totally see why now!

Have been in going to this studio for about 6 months and genuinely love it. I love the instructors (JJ, Claudine and Byron are great) and the workouts continually switch up what we're doing so it never gets boring. I love that I don't have to worry about what I'm going to do at the gym, I just show up and get a great workout! The studio is clean and everyone on the team is super friendly.

I first joined OTF closer to work, but when COVID began, I started working out at the sandy springs studio a mile from my house. These coaches have convinced me to work harder, lift heavier, and become such a member of this community! I even did the dri tri and so glad I did!

Worst OT location I have been to. My coach had terrible music that was so unmotivating. She also mumbled when she spoke so I could barely understand what I was supposed to do. Lastly, the equipment is all so old and broken. Not a fan

Every single class in intense, but not overwhelming, you get to go at your own pace. If you're serious about your fitness goals, give this place a try. Some people say Crossfit, but if you like functioning knees and shoulders and want to avoid surgery, stick with OTF.

I went to my first Orange Theory class and it happened to be at the Sandy Springs location. The friendly staff of Desi, Luke, and Dawn greeted me as soon I walked in. I was checked-in and shown around their facility. Once class started, I got a great feel of their program and their culture. They welcome all types of fitness-levels as their programs are built for everyone. I felt welcomed and really enjoyed the experience.
-Thank You OT Sandy Springs!

Horrible customer service. We wanted to try the free trial class and Luke called us on the day of to ensure that we are residents of Sandy Springs in order to get the class. It is ridiculous that they base who gets the class by where you live. Weβre in one of the largest commuter states. I could be living in Gainesville and working in Sandy Springs and I would want to workout in Sandy Springs whether to avoid rush hour traffic or because there isnβt a gym location in my area. Luke just hung up the phone abruptly and didnβt even consider an exception. In a city where thereβs a gym option on every corner, OrangeTheory has lost its touch with reality and is clearly not forward thinking. Take your business elsewhere where you feel like a valued customer. F45 is right across the street- much better workout and way better customer service.

I love orange theory. But luckily my home studio is east Cobb and not here. I called 2 hours before class to book a spot and I get to the class and the class is full and system is down. My understanding is that calling does not need a system. Not nice

I've been a member of OTF for almost 2 years and I haven't gotten bored with the workouts. There's a nice pattern/rotation and I feel like every muscle group gets worked. Every coach and staff member in Sandy Springs consistently greets me with a smile and they know my name, so I don't feel like just another body at a gym. I'm consistently encouraged to push myself during the workouts and it's hands down the most effective 60 minute workout I've tried.

If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would. This studio is the reason I am canceling my membership.
I've been to multiple studios (Charleston, Mt. Pleasant, Tampa, Boston, Woodstock) and had great experiences at all them, even done community events with my OTF Family. And then I had to relocate for work, which made me try this location because it was closer.
I have never felt so unwelcome or so uncomfortable ever in a studio, especially an Orangetheory studio. The front desk couldn't be bothered to answer your questions, aren't friendly/welcoming whatsoever, and to be honest, kind of rude if you ask them a question. I felt like I was intruding just by asking where the lockers were.
I felt uncomfortable in the few classes I tried here and wasn't able to really focus on my workout because of the uncomfortable vibe I got whenever I walked in. No one talks to each other, and the front desk doesn't really engage with their clients. This studio does not have a community vibe about it whatsoever and the precedent is set by the front desk.
If you're looking for a friendly, welcoming studio experience where it feels like a community, this studio is not for you.

I really like that it is a group workout but is individual at the same time. The coaches are motivating and push me to keep moving! I really enjoy that I am able to track my workout results for each class and how it is compared to the previous week and month. I have been part of this program for almost two months now and I am already seeing results!

Great customer service. The simple gesture of greeting me by name when I come in for a workout goes a long way. Also, trainers are diverse and motivational throughout the workout. It makes me want to push a little bit more. A bit of hiphop and modern music doesn't hurt either. It motivates me more.

Did the free trial class and my experience was as follows: while the class itself is a great workout, it is disjointed in the sense of you are not explained the flow of things in a manner that is at all receivable. You have music blasting to keep up the spirit, and the trainer is constantly adjusting volumes to project their voice over the music and then the inverse.
I compensated for this by moving whenever the faces of the group I started a specific workout with moved. Not until the very end was a chart mentioned that "explained" the levels of workout groups.
My problem with OTF is their lack of congenial environment. For me, it does not compel me one way or the other if I am speaking to an owner or to an employee of the company, but it was advertised to me as though something spectacular would happen since the owner was present. (There was nothing of note) I went in fully excited for the experience, and left highly aggravated by the pushy agenda, unkempt personage, the unclean and cramped bathroom, and the lack of feeling as though whatever decision I made would be considered the right choice.
The reason why I am actually taking the time to write a review --and give it a 1 star at that-- is because this company will harass you like a plague for lack of better words.
I asked Larry, an employee of OTF, to give me a week to decide what my decision would be, as I wanted to confer with my coworker on the viability of OTF as a workout regime that I could get behind.
Instead, I within 72 hours I was contacted via email, via text and via a phone call + a voicemail.
That continued in a pattern until my own time frame of commitment was reached, and I then reached out, after receiving yet another phone call, and politely declined the opportunity to join OTF.
I asked to be removed from further communication avenues. Instead, I recieved more follow up emails, and now another (which is rrally the final straw) asking me about the trainer of the night I went..over 3 weeks ago. Let me just say that it's an invasion of mental peace to have to work out how to block text messages, mark multiple emails as spam, and reject phone calls because they decide to call whenever is convenient for them.
I will repeat that I am disenchanted throughly of OTF on the sole experience I had at this location. I will never join one at this point either.
Thank you for your time in reading this -- best of luck to you in your search for a workout program!

My girlfriend and I joined OTF together over a year ago after I finished rehab my broken leg. Now we go at least 3-4 times per week, and feel better than ever about ourselves than we ever have. The staff is really cool at the Sandy Springs location, but the beauty of OTF is that you can sign up for classes at any gym around the country outside of your home gym too. If you're looking to get out of the big box gym and get serious about getting into shape with a great group of people... You've come to the right place!

Wow!! What a great concept and group of folks. I highly recommend to try Orange Theory Fitness out. I tried a free class and brought my sister. We had never done this type of training before. The time flew by and we were able to get personal coaching in a group setting. It was a win win. Burn a good amount of calories and have fun. I do not know to many gyms where you can do that. Plus the owners and staff genuinely care about you as an individual, helping you to each your health goals, as well as becoming a part of their community. You can see and feel the true passion and commitment coming from Kim and Julie. Thanks Ladies!
