horrible place to get a membership 2 year membership? wrong. its a month to month and will renew after two years? how does that make sense for a two year membership? fyi it says nothing on my contract about it renewing after 2 years. theyve stolen money from me ive tried to cancel multiple times over the phone and once in person and they will actually tell you no. i definitely DO NOT RECOMEND. only if you want your money stolen. dont even deserve to have 1 star.

Gym equipment is constantly broken, the sauna is a one person electric sauna. It is so packed people have to park on the street. For the money you pay and the maintenance fees you think it would be better kept and better amenaties.

The front desk staff does not know how to manage properly. The receptionist was on the phone for almost 10 minutes with the same customer instead of putting him on hold she made me And several other people wait. Most places will Handle customers waiting first and prioritize phone call second.

Additionally, the staff does not know how to manage Their equipment. The same receptionist allowed one of the members to sit in the sauna for over an hour. While I and others were waiting. There are actually health concerns with somebody In a red light sauna for that Long.

I like the people who work there and the fitness instructors are great BUT..we cannot get the most out of our class because the floor in the group x class area is in a horribly unsafe condition with a huge moisture problem that could have been prevented. It has gone ignored even with multiple reports. There is no reason to have let this go neglected for years.

I don't like the fact that they advertise a sauna yet it's a 1 person sauna with no time limit. It's first come, first serve. So basically if you don't get lucky when you ask, you don't get to use it. There needs to be restrictions.

Other than that peak hours are pretty packed. All the equipment is in good condition. There's a lot of machines so wait times aren't really an issue. Machines are very high quality.

The manager at this gym is overly emotional and seems to lack respect for clients. I've been working out here since I was 15, and I'm 23 now. Since their arrival, my experience has been disappointing. I place a high value on excellent customer service, and unfortunately, the service here has been consistently poor due to the management. If you truly prioritize your clients, yelling at them is not the way to show it. I've seen the owner a few times, and he seems like a great person, but the management needs significant improvement. Strengthening the management team would go a long way in boosting the business. If you look closely at the reviews, you’ll notice the same issue keeps coming up. All they need to do is listen to customer feedback and address the problem, so it’ll never occur again, it’s that simple. Today, they lost a client due to the lack of respect, communication, and poor customer service. I would appreciate a call from the owner to find a resolution, thanks.

One of the main reasons I joined this gym was because they advertised a sauna. However, the sauna is useless. I have tried every day this week to use the Sauna, and it takes over an hour for it to heat, and sometimes it won't even heat when turned on. I haven't gotten to use it yet. The gym's equipment is in good working order and when broken is fixed quickly.

I've been a member of Peak Fitness in Dalton, Georgia, for some time now, and I must say it's a fantastic local gym. They offer a well-rounded selection of equipment, including free weights, leg press machines, ellipticals, and even a variety of classes like spin and dance. The tanning beds and climber stairs are added perks that I appreciate. It's been an essential part of my fitness journey, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a great gym in the area.

Awesome gym. They have a lot of equipment. They also work hard to make sure they get new equipment in annually and have even polled members to make the decision on what to buy next in the past. The only real downside is that because it's such a good gym it has a lot of members, especially now that it's 24/7. This can make it difficult to workout during peak time periods. If you can make it during off hours, it's pretty great though.

We canceled our membership 2 yrs ago and on 8/4, luckily I was looking at my bank account online and this gym, took 70.00 out of my account(35.00 for my husband and and myself) annual membership fees. It's been 6 days as not been refunded and apparently they don't answer phones. Guess it's looking like I'm going to have to go and press charges.

Nice facility and friendly staff! Signed up for the 2 year plan and it is nice to have it drafted out of my account monthly. What I don't agree with is an extra charge of $35.00 for a "facility improvement fee" It should NOT be the responsibility of the gym goers to get charged for this!!! Once my contract runs out, I will NOT be re enrolling for this reason.

Bathrooms are never cleaned, strong smells of urine in men’s locker room. Dried splattered urine on the toilets and walls , u can see the dust and dirt caked up on the counters and has been that way for weeks. Completely unsafe and unsanitary and unsatisfactory. It they would clean the place it would be a good gym

*Editing to add: I tried to cancel my membership this morning and was told I had an obligation to remain a member until October. I found my copy of my membership agreement in my car before leaving and confirmed that I signed at the student (month to month) rate and in fact had NO obligation to remain a member. I went right back in and showed them and was then able to cancel, but somehow my membership type must’ve been changed in their system?? Not cool.

Not a bad gym as far as equipment, but their communication is not what it should be as far as your money. I’ve had random charges to my account in the 10 months I’ve been going to Peak. I’m canceling ASAP, but from another review, it looks like I could still be charged after canceling. Please do better about communication with your members.

Me and my husband have been loyal members for more than 3 years. I recently cancelled my membership because I was being charged weird amounts of money. First time, I was charged $39 twice in a month, which got that taken care of by "carrying the extra money to the next month." In the beginning of April, I was charged $25, which is the normal amount, and then in the end of April I was charged $75. It took 3+ calls to the Manager so she can resolve it, although she was a bit snappy at first. At first, she said I was overcharged because I did not pay for the previous month, even though they are supposed to take the money from my bank account automatically. Very upset with this situation because this is where I started my weight training journey but anyone who works hard for their money can understand my situation. I hope they can fix this and it does not happen to anyone else.

I have never been to a gym and felt more at home. They have everything that you could possibly. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and I have enjoyed every day that I have came to Peak. Their trainers are very professional and their front staff employees are by far the nicest around. I would 10/10 recommend.

I love this place. It's clean, state of the art equipment, staff is always smiling and helpful. The people who work out stay to themselves and are kind, so you can feel comfortable. The gym is really dark, but it's fine to just workout. But the child care is awful!! The girls that work in there are always on their phones or talking to each other. My kids asked to not go back. Another child was hitting him and the teacher said nothing and just watched it happen. When I pick them up they didnt even look up to make sure it was the same person picking them up that dropped them off, and there was a toddler standing on a table!! I have gone a few different times to give it a chance but my kids wont go back! And when I asked to speak to a manager no one was available.
