Firstly, I want to commend this location for its positive aspects: it is spacious, clean, well-equipped, and the music adds to a pleasant workout atmosphere.

However, I was disappointed with the level of customer service I received. This was my first visit to this location, and as a Black Card member who frequently visits other Planet Fitness gyms, I expected the same professional experience I normally encounter. Instead, when I asked a question, the staff seemed unwilling to provide an answer and responded with noticeable attitude when I sought clarification.

After reviewing feedback online, I noticed multiple customers have raised similar concerns about the same staff members. My concern is why these repeated complaints have not yet been addressed. As a paying member, I believe consistent professionalism and respect should be a standard at all Planet Fitness locations.

I strongly urge management to address this issue, as there are many individuals seeking employment who would uphold the Planet Fitness reputation and provide the welcoming experience members deserve.

Tried to cancel for 7 months! Did you know you can cancel on the site as of June 2025? Because they will ignore the letters they ask you to send if you can't cancel in person due to moving. Also, they charged me a late fee every month despite the funds being available, then charged me an additional near $200 for late fees, despite the charges having already been taken from my account. they recommended i dispute it with my bank which is pretty wild to hear a company say.

reporting two employees at this location for harassment. I was harassed 4 times after Exercising my 5th amendment right to remain silent, which is legislative in the constitution of the United States of America. not wanting to engage with false allegation and claims these two employees was trying super hard to present to me. They harassed me over and over after I remain silent. They threatened me I have everything on video. I don’t take threats lightly and will be Escalating this to corporate. They say this is a “NO JUDGEMENT ZONE” but that’s all lies these two employees which is a black male black shirt and a Mexican male purple shirt are Judgmental and on numerous occasion harassed me. I have everything on video and will be pressing to get these two employees fired. the Harassment I have on video from these two employees is a big Lawsuit. They are ego driven and not professional at all. These two employees at this location continue to judging and harass me stood in front of me judging based off false information and little knowledge. Planet fitness own slogan states this a “No judgment zone”, but it’s very clear that these two employees don’t even honor their position and their role at planet fitness Which is in their employment agreement to not judge specially if you don’t have any proof or evidence.

Update 5/22/25- Dont see the vending machines in the girl's locker room anymore. Fyi there are dressing rooms across from the showers too. *Always clean. Lots of uncrowded hours. Plenty of equipment. Loving the cleaning stations. There's a vending machine in the lady's locker room where you can get ear buds, deodorant, and even muscle milk. Located near a grocery store, a gas station, a Goodwill, restaurants, a beauty supply store, and even a mechanic store. I do the hydro massage each time I'm there. There is a tanning room also..I won't be needing that though.😆 No touch entry. Get the black card.

This is the best Planet Fitness location I’ve been to in Atlanta. It’s consistently clean, well-maintained, and most importantly—cool and comfortable. Although the Brookhaven location is closer to my home and more spacious, I switched after over a month of broken AC and no clear communication from staff when it would be repaired. I’m very glad I made the change.

Don't do it! They will continue to charge you months after you tried to cancel, repeatedly. You can't cancel online, which is insane in 2025. I moved, then sent multiple letters (per their instruction) that they conveniently didn't receive... and just kept charging me, and won't refund. Tenia 6 años con mi membresía en este gimnasio y hoy la cancelé, una señora que estaba haciendo ejercicio me dijo que me quitara de la máquina que ya llevaba mucho tiempo y yo solo tenía como 5 minutos de haber comenzado en esa máquina, fue muy grosera a lo que respondí: termino en 5 minutos y ella me siguió insistiendo que me quitara en ese momento y decidí ignorarla y empezó a decirme cualquier cantidad de insultos en voz baja, y se fue a llamar a las personas que trabajan en este negocio y ese señor me dijo que me tenía que quitar de la máquina porque yo llevaba más de 20 minutos a lo que respondí que está bien no estoy en el gimnasio para estresarme, me voy. I've only been able to go to this gym with a member for the passed 2 weeks. Thanks to the friendly staff and clean facilities I'm leaning towards joining this gym. I apologize ahead of time, I'm 90% her name i Bebe ( but I've got the name Deedee in my head) either way SHE'S YOUR BEST EMPLOYEE!! Don't get me wrong everyone has been exceptional but she's made me feel at ease. I've asked a billion questions and she's always willing to answer and show me about the amenities I'd be able to take advantage of. She's always got a beautiful smile and keeping your gym spotless. I like this GYM but i have few incidents with employees that leave me having a bad experience, like with this one spanish employee who removed the membership scanner at 8:15pm on a friday when the schedule posted says GYM closes at 9pm. He then approached me and told the he was closing in couple minutes, I asked him why if there still was 40 minutes left he made an annoyed face at me. Once I was inside there was still 30 minutes left before closing he kept approaching me and saying there was 5 minutes left. He made me feel rushed when there was still time left! I had to leave at 8:53pm so he would stop harassing me.

Recently renovated, which brought in shiny new equipment but kind of stifled the old airy feeling of the place. Stretching area is now too crowded to do much stretching because all the equipment crept in that don't have to be there. Shower area is hit and miss, but mostly clean and pleasant enough. Bring your own towel and soap; they don't have soap dispenser and they don't offer towel service. Free weights are limited and there are no squat racks. You will be better served if you stick with weight machines and cardio stuff. Members are often considerate enough to wipe down the machines after use. Nice water fountain. Staff is friendly but I cannot say on how knowledgeable they are since I never took their classes. Note: check the open times when working out on weekends (Friday-Sunday.)

Terrible customer service
Came in looking to help on 10/24 around 6pm
A worker just standing around on his phone and doesn’t even look up to acknowledge me
When I asked if I can get some help on my membership, he look up and said no then went back on typing his phone.
I wait for a bit longer to see if he was playing or not but then he just stood there playing on his phone for a while and then when I proceed to leave thats when he said “oh I can help you now”
I’ve been to that planet fitness for a while and never had any experience like that.
Today I came back and found out that his name was Steve.
Does planet fitness hired just about anyone now a day ? Cause this is just sad
Plenty of qualified people out there in need of a job and they hired Steve, whom seems like doesn’t have a single clue what customer service is.

I've been a black card member for a few years, but this was my first trip to this location. I walked in and scanned in with no issue. I wanted to tan, and at my home club there's a computer kiosk where I can scan my card and see what time slots are available for beds and booths. I didn't see that here, so I asked the employee at the desk. She said there's no kiosk, and asked me how much time I wanted and entered it into a system on the wall. When I went to the room she indicated, I realized it was a booth not a bed. So I went back out and asked for a bed. She said there's only one and it was in use so I said I'd wait and took a seat. After a few minutes I saw someone leave the tanning area, so I got up to go back to the counter. There was another member there who was helped by a different employee who set the other member up in the bed before I could speak up. I said oh well, I'll just wait again. The second employee asked if I wanted to use the booth instead, but I never use those so I don't know how much time I need and he didn't know what the max time is in the standing booth so I couldn't even make a good guess. So I just went in for a few minutes and hoped it would be fine. Then the music in the booth didn't even work.

I'm really surprised there's not a system to keep track of who is next to use the tanning bed and booths, since there's only three tanning rooms all together. My home club has had the kiosk system for a few years now and it works great. This gym needs a better system, even if it's just like a physical "next in line" card for the person waiting to hold so the employees can see that it's reserved and not send someone in out of order. Also staff needs training if they don't know how many minutes each bed or both runs.

Three stars because everything was clean and the staff at least tried to help.

I would give it five stars, but the black card membership is falsely advertised.

First, I got signed up online to a club that hasn't opened yet in Kennesaw. I live in Peachtree Corners. Why would I sign up for that location. To make matters worse, I was told that even if I have the black card that I can only go to another location 10 times a month without being charged a franchise fee of $5 each time I go . Who wants to have to go to three different locations to workout. Then, I was told I could not change locations for 90 days. Now, keep in mind that the gym I am assigned to has not opened yet.

Now, with all of that said, I do enjoy the gym. The massage chairs are amazing. The gym is kept clean, and up until my last two visits, the customer service has been great. I won't knock the customer service because the staff is only doing their jobs. Nonetheless, if we cannot get this membership issue resolved, I am going back to LA Fitness.

Wanted to use a cable machine to wrap up my work out and a gentleman claim to be using both. However he was already purely focused only on one and it was starting to get more crowded.
(Limited machines) Unfortunately his ego got the best of him and he wouldn’t back down. I spoke with Tim who handled the situation smoothly. I used to love this gym, but as of the past week or two I’m not sure if the staff changed, but I have been receiving nothing BUT horrible customer service.

I called almost 2 weeks ago to report to the store manager I was in a car accident. The staff that answered attempted to help, but needed manager approval. She placed me on hold and never came back.

I called back today after seeing I’m still being charged a very nice guy answered and was helpful. He told me he would give the phone to the assistant manager Ced or Syd. Ced was extremely rude, sassy and hung up in my face. She never once showed any sympathy for the fact I mentioned I was in a car accident. She had a very bad attitude then hung up in my face when I told her I was told it was going to be cancelled by the staff and that I didn’t need to come in. This is how you all treat paying customers? I will be cancelling my membership at this location now and never returning! Unacceptable.

I would just like point out the fact that since the recent change in management and staffing the gym has looked amazing! The staff is extremely friendly, attentive to concerns, and provide a comfortable atmosphere to want to come workout! I have had the opportunity to have conversations with Timothy and think he is doing an amazing job with the staff and arming the club with a great foundation for the future! Everything works here and its clean. As long as I go during non-peak hours, I'm able to get all of my workout in within a timely matter. The music choice is a great variety mix so Im still okay if I forget my headphones.
The staff are mostly on their phones or huddled together joking around/having light conversation enjoying each other vs actively engaging with with members that come in. I guess I'd rather see them happily enjoying themselves vs having an attitude or being grumpy toward us. As long as they can help us when we ask, Im fine. I just ask that they look up and greet everyone that comes in if possible.
Oh, a full sized mirror in all dressing rooms would be a plus.

I like the gym. I come Monday - Friday at 4am. The foot flow traffic isn’t bad. The music is loud but I guess that’s what’s headphones are for. Staff is friendly enough - they don’t bother you, you don’t bother them.

Issue: Saturday morning I get here at 7am because it says they open at 7am. There are several cars and people waiting at the door. By 7:40am no one has come. Lights off inside / dark and no staff. I don’t know if the hours are listed wrong or someone over slept but several people drove off. I like my routine so I tried to stay before heading to another location :/ super disappointed with the lack of professionalism and way business is ran on the weekends.

Guess I’ll come here during the week day and visit another place on the weekends.

The trainer Neen is extraordinarily! She’s made a complete difference in my life. All the other employees are warm and welcoming. This location in particular is clean. The upgrades with the machines and different stations are a bonus as well.

I love this gym and the workers are great nice atmosphere and the app is cool to know if it’s crowded or not but the crowd doesn’t stop me there are always machines available

This is a good branch. I've been there to multiple branches but this is too good...
Specifically there are two people called Tristy and Seth these two people are soo good in proper hospitality.. they always greet you with smile.... and they do they work real good. I've haven't seen other Plante fitness works in other branches who goes amd work from 5 to 9 pm which is peak hour....
But these guys keep everything up to work and complete...
Thank you so much for these two who are making myself and my Friends workout great.....

Just wanted to see the manager to smile.... I've never seen him smiling 😃 😂
