The facility was clean and spacious, and the staff was very friendly. Almost every single machine/equipment was in working order. I think I noticed only two machines being out-of-order. There was a diverse amount of equipment (machines and free-weights), and an abundant amount so that no one seemed to be waiting to use something. Before I left I enjoyed the hydro-massage chair, and that too was very clean.

Not for me. Anyone can walk in as the desk is unmanned early in the morning. All the machines are lined up like it's motor pool Monday and everything is purple. I felt like a robot in a box of jelly packets

I think overall is pretty good. But I think they shower in the Men should be more thoroughly cleaned at least the floors inside the shower itself. And be maintained better had a knob issue for a long time and still in the back shower recently got closed off. And I think they should adjust the shower curtain length to a longer ones so water doesn't go I to area people have to get dressed at. Other than that equipment work great, cleaned and maintained. And the staff is typically friendly.

I recommend this fitness center. This is the cleanest fitness center that I have ever worked out in. The locker rooms are clean and does not have a bad smell like most fitness centers. The customer service is the best. The associates are welcoming and always in a good mood. One associate even address me by name. Awesome job and awesome staff.

Worse Planet Fitness in Augusta why is it 75 degrees in a gym it should never be that hot, and it’s only one water fountain you have to wait or feel rushed to drink water that’s not even cold feels room temp.. the locker room feels like it’s 80 degrees why too hot to do any kinda cardio here

It is absolutely worthy of the cost or value 💲 if a membership is used often or on occasion, especially for traveling to use showers for long trips. There are lockers in the rest areas, although, it would be ideal 💡 to bring along your own locks in case they do not by location, have another method to keep your belongings secure 🔐. The massage beds are comfortable & the tanning beds are present for standing up 👆🏼 or sitting down 👇🏼. Sanitizers🧴 are also located around the location to keep areas clean for all guests after using machines or equipment. Black Membership🪪 accounts can take one guest or visitor 👥 with them & utilize trainers if desired 🏋🏼. Great value indeed for those interested in becoming or remaining physically fit! 🫀💪🏻🦵🏻🩻

I just joined this gym last month, because although I love LA Fitness, I’ve recently moved to Loganville, and they don’t have a location in town. So, I got a Black Card Membership (for like $24/month). There are several things I luuhhvv about Planet Fitness: first off is the hours. This place is open 24/5!!! Love it! I can workout in the middle of the night if I want to…and sometimes I do!! They have a 30 minute express workout area that reminds me of Curves from back in the day! I can get a full body workout in 30 minutes and be on my way!! Another thing I love that my other gym doesn’t have are some spa amenities! LA Fitness has a sauna, pool, and jacuzzi, but Planet Fitness has massage chairs, hydromassagers, cryomassagers, wellness pods, shake rooms…. It’s got some really cool amenities (in the Black Card Spa)! In my opinion, the Black Card membership is WORTH IT! It’s affordable and convenient. My membership allows me access to any location which is helpful when I’m traveling. I love the hours and massagers at this gym. You should join today!! UPDATE 5/22/24: They offer FREE Personal Training!! Can you say WORTH THE COST OF ADMISSION?!? I started training at the Stone Mountain location 2 days ago. Game changer!!! Join today. Since it's a chain id like to point out that some are managed better than others. As a member you have the choice to change what location you are going to visit. My experience on the one in Bobby Jones was not as good as the one on Windsor Springs Rd. Also the fact they make it as difficult as they can for a member to cancel their subscription is very frustrating. However, their prices are competitive and their hours of operation make getting out of work late and still making it to the gym feasible.

I’ve had several bad experiences here. Months back they had no hot water for months, going at 5 am and it’s 30 degrees outside, it was difficult to maintain. Fast forward I started back in the morning and after a week, all of my things were removed from my locked locker with no explanation. I was later told, when I asked where my things were, that it should have been explained to me when the lock was purchased (there at 5am). Unfortunately the young ladies that work that early are not helpful and never mentioned that, then a 24 hr locker policy was mentioned. I asked for it to be clarified due to me coming daily, I would leave the towel there to dry essentially and was told a manager would call me. Here we are a month or so later and still nothing, just a bill that’s getting bigger and all the news reporting planet fitness has world wide bomb threats. It’s very unfortunate

It is weirdly hot / humid in the gym most days... My assumption is the desk staff are cold so they're running the heat, but for people at the gym to work out, it makes for fairly miserable conditions. Generally good selection of machines, but dumbbells don't go higher than 75 lbs and there are no free standing olympic barbells (only Smith machines). Good for the price, but wish there were other options in the area.

This place is solid, clean, quality equipment. At 10 bucks a month or 25 a month to use nationally which I do because I travel, they don’t have paper towels or soap like at LA Fitness and at this location they don’t heat the water for the showers.

Jerika at the winsor springs augusta location needs additional training on all things customer service. Horrible. Do yourself a favor and find another gym. After speaking with 3 managers, they all agreed that she's new and needs additional training. She knows little to nothing about working out or dealing with members. Prepare to be harassed if she's behind the desk.

Verry clean and new equipment but that's about as far as it goes here. The over use the lunk alarm and harass anyone who is there to seriously work out. They say it's their policy about grunting and slamming weights. But ignore the rest if the policy about dress code and phones in lifting areas ect. If you absolutely have no other choice in a gym then this one will suffice for the basics but don't expect to get strong or build endurance here.

Finally you guys have answered my many surveys about updating and adding new equipment thank you. This is my home gym, I've been going here for 3 years now. My overall experience has been great friendly staff and friendly patrons. My reason for 4 stars is even though we did update the equipment I believe we could use a little more equipment catered to people trying to gain strength and muscle. Also would love to have the gym open 24/7 I work rotating shifts so sometimes I am not able to make it.
