I really hate to complain, but as a member of Planet Fitness, I wanted to share a concern.

The store manager at this location initially agreed to provide Tootsie Rolls for a nonprofit event centered around children. During our conversation, she mentioned that only the chocolate Tootsie Rolls were available at that time and encouraged me to come pick them up. I explained that I would wait for the next truck, which she said would arrive within the following week and include other varieties of Tootsie Rolls.

If there is a policy in place regarding solicitation or donations, the manager—of all people—should be fully aware of it and communicate that clearly when such inquiries are made. Instead, I later learned that the information I was given was incorrect, which was very disappointing.

This situation is disheartening, especially since the children were looking forward to receiving Tootsie Rolls for their goody bags after completing the Children's Business Fair.

The Children's Business Fair is a meaningful event that gives young aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to showcase their businesses, practice leadership, and generate sales. It’s unfortunate that this misunderstanding and lack of consistency may affect their experience.

The Tara Blvd location is not professional. The worker sits at a table behind the entrance door so you can't see her when you walk in. There's no one behind the counter. They just upgraded the machines finally so that's good but outside of that I'd rather go to the Fayetteville location. They are nice, professional and clean.

Great facility! I have visited many across several states due to frequent travels and found this o e particularly different....in a good way. They had a "yoga" section as well as a "functional " fitness section. The stretching equipment was really appreciated. Great place!

I found the way they informed me about being closed to be completely unprofessional. I showed up after work, unaware of their hours, and was met with dismissive treatment. As someone with a mental disability, the lack of consideration and respect was especially hurtful. This experience was unacceptable and needs serious improvement. This gym gets the job done. I honestly prefer the workers to leave me alone and they usually do unless you call for them. The workers are polite.

After the renovations it’s a let down from how it was before however there is more space! It’s usually very full in the afternoon on Monday and Wednesday. Also when it’s right before a holiday.

I took another star off because sometimes there isn’t equipment available or hard to find.

Overall I like the location and it’s my top two location from Fayetteville and Newnan. Also I wish there was a sanitizing dispenser right at the exit and not out of the way.

While I once absolutely loved this place, now I hate it.
The renovations were underwhelming and now we’re stuck listening to men slamming weights CrossFit style and all loud, obnoxious and
“HUNH!! EVERYBODY LOOK AT ME”.

I do not like noise cancelling headphones but will have to borrow my kids bc it’s making me crazy that noise. Hopefully it will drown it out 100% but I doubt it. It’s absolutely OBNOXIOUS AND LOUD 😡

The first timers and the elderly. I brought my Teens there to start intro to fitness and now there is nowhere for them to fitness for beginners area. POOR POOR DECISION PF!!

Like the newly remodeled place. Takes a second to get used to where everything has been relocated to in the building, but once you get a sense of it, you should be good. I also like the fact that since I'm retired, I can now go during morning times where I can get access to equipment more readily than I would in the evening.

It has been a challenge to get back into a disciplined routine following two covid years of space, distancing, and inactivity. But, I find it refreshing to be among my "fitness friends” at Planet Fitness. They keep to themselves and are diligent about their fitness routines, and that is all I need to stay motivated! Thanks Purple Planet, now I have friends and trainers in 2 locations and I use my black card to travel with healthy fitness habits.

I have been member since PF Fayetteville opened and I don’t know why planet fitness did away with having multiple trainers. I understood during the pandemic but it makes sense to have trainers throughout the day instead of half the day.

This gym has been closed for at least a month for remodeling and equipment upgrades.

Signs at location before closuer indicated that information about when the gym would reopen can be obtained from the "web site" . I have been to your web site for this location and find absolutely no information.

Why do I have to go to the website? Planet Fitness has my email address. I am a paying member. Why not send an email weekly at least giving members progress updates. Would it be that difficult?

Pretty unkempt facility with lazy workers that sleep on the job more than work. Tried to shower the other day and witnessed 2 employees getting freaky in the maintenance closet. I tried pulling up today, and I'm pretty sure they are closed. I'm not sure why google still says open 24-hour. Could be renovations, but with the sign being gone, and non planet fitness employees coming and going, I would assume that they are shut down here. Please update your store location on Google, travelers don't need to waste their time going to an empty lot for a workout.

I am absolutely stunned and aghast at how the quality of this gym has dipped so rapidly. I am not sure if it has to do with the change in employees, but I have just raised this to corporate as it has just become despicable. Last week, I finished a workout and went to the massage chairs only to find their employees sleeping. They had to be woken up to leave. I have never seen this before. I then noticed this is a trend and this is something they do. Today, while waiting for a massage chair I noticed that there was a customer waiting for one of the relaxation rooms. The door appeared to have been locked and the employees in the front desk needed to call to tell his co worker friend who was inside to get out. When they did, he came out with a female who clearly we know what they were doing. This was absolutely disgusting and I could see in the customers face that she was in shock by what she had witnessed. She refused to use the machine after they left the room and I don’t blame her. I wouldn’t have touched that room myself with a five foot pole. Someone has to say it. This location has become abysmal in such a short span. None of the employees here care. They are always gossiping in the front desk and laughing. They don’t acknowledge the customers as they enter and exit anymore. They are rarely cleaning machines anymore. It’s just kids loafing around instead of respectable employees. The rooms are being used by their employees to take naps and to have inter course with other girls. Which is not only despicable but not hygienic. Corporate is getting a nice letter after what I saw. I still can’t get that customers look off my mind after what she saw came out of that room.

I'm definitely enjoying my journey here at planet fitness banks station. I only have a problem with a few front desk employees that do not acknowledge members when checking in (constantly ignored and making fun of members as they walk in) totallyunacceptable. This is a professional business which should thrive on customer service skills. While everything else is great, customer service is lacking. I'll give it a 4 out of 10 score. Maybe customer service training may help in this area.

Today 1/3/25 my membership was canceled by an off duty planet fitness employee and I was told it was because of a violation (wearing crocs) that was put in the system as a warning on 12/5/24. I was not wearing crocs at the time of the cancellation and have not worn crocs during my work out since 12/5/24. I come to this PF 6 days a week and have not been notified about a membership cancellation until I approached the front desk today and politely asked a employee why I was being harassed about my shoes in the month prior but I see at least 4/5 members wearing crocs during every workout and on the day of this incident. This must’ve bothered the off duty employee who was behind the desk when I asked because she proceeded to call her manager and her manager gave her permission to cancel my membership because of it. Luckily I got this whole incident on camera because I knew the employee and the manger were in cahoots and it would be difficult to prove I was being discriminated against without evidence. Google will only allow 30 second attachments so I will have to break the 9 minute video into pieces but I would love to send the entire video to anyone of authority who can help with this unsettling situation. I was also told there is no way for my to email a manager or franchise owner and I would have to wait until a manager (the following Monday) is on duty to get my situation resolved. I’d like to note that Amar was very helpful during and after this situation and tried his best to remain professional and helpful despite the unprofessionalism of his off duty co-worker.

Planet fitness is a horrible company that looks to thwart the rights of its customers. I can't wear what I want, I cant bring my own yoga mat, I can't take my shoes and socks off on my own yoga mat, the bathrooms are often weak. This place in general is really pissing me off.

This location here in Fayetteville is within walking distance for me but every month since Spril of this year there overcharging me saying it’s because it’s the way my account is setup which they set it up so instead of $25 dollars there charging me $40 dollars I keep goi g to the manager who says she is fixing it and the issue is not getting fixed I was just gonna cancel and go elsewhere I still might but I’m so used to planet fitness but I’m not gonna keep letting them overcharge me and get away with it any advice from anyone

I come here a lot, but I found something really outrageous and spacious, staffs knew what time Im gonna show up, so they can be really to curse at me. How would you even know where I am? I mean did someone called you guys about when Im gonna show up? Well, if so this is crime and you guys should call 911 for. Whatever he's telling you and doing is hurting your customer's rights. Call the police and let them know this is happening and police should be able to track him. Your customers spend the money here, you should always protect their rights.

Unlike other locations such as the one on Tara Blvd, the music here at the Fayetteville location is not too loud. This way, you don't have to blast your headphones to overcome the background noise. I can leave here with no ear pain or headache.

I have been a member of Planet fitness for almost 10 years. We have experienced some ups and downs and frequent turnover in staff. The latest overnight employee, Trez is one of the absolute best that I have seen in years. He is always running around cleaning the facility, stocking towels and refilling spray. If he is busy and someone is waiting to use a hydrobed, he actually runs to assist them. He moves so fast, it is hard to keep up with him. That is something that is really refreshing when usually the night staff is half asleep or just sitting at the desk waiting for 6 so that they can get of. The bathroom is the cleanest that it has been in Years.

I am so very pleased! Please pay him what he is worth so that he does not leave!

Disappointed, but not surprised. I had previously discussed the dress code with the manager because she decided that sports bras needed to have non adjustable backs. Regardless of coverage or construction.

With this logic, I could wear a thin unlined cotton or nylon sports bra without issue, but my non revealing 3mm thick one is apparently inappropriate because "it's adjustable"

I had a terrible experience with their customer service. I called asking to speak with a manager on 01/30 around 4pm and was completely given the run around after she lied and said the manager was busy instead of at least checking to see if they would speak with me in regards to my question. Then once she could no longer help me she put another teenager on the phone stating that they were the manager. Before I could even began to ask my question or get results they hung up in my face. I almost canceled my membership today over I will not blame the entire company for one location hiring teenagers that are messing up the experience for their customers at this location. If you are seeking help from this location it’s best to go to that location in person.
