This location has been renovated(?) since my last visit as it seems most locations are doing so. The new equipment is a plus the membership lack of appreciation for the equipment still lingers. Call it my mild OCD or whatever but dropping benches unnecessarily and not putting your weights back properly is just plain lazy! Other than that, great facilities and great workout! I'll be back!

I have been attempting to “get fine” on my own. Then I came across the trainer option offered at PF. I’ve been going consistently for the last 4 weeks and I must say my experience with Darnell has been nothing short of enjoyable, yet challenging! I believe I left the core workout with a 6pack. The lower body with a dump truck and upper body with Angela Bassett arms. Im getting finer by the week! All thanks to PF for having it in place but Darnell for the willingness to help! Thank you.

This place is the absolute worst! I have been overcharged for 5 months for a late fee due to not having a checking account number on file. Janiya said it’s impossible to sign up without one. She looked in the system and saw that I did not have one on file. She doesn’t understand as well. So I’ve been overcharged charged $75. You can’t cancel online so I drove an hour and a half to cancel because I was charged another $40 today. I get here and there is no manager that can assist me. I told them I want to cancel, and they said your membership will expire today. But wait, why is it not good for the 30 days I was just charged? So now I demand a refund. Janiya says their policy is they end today with no refund. This is basically stealing. So now I’m going to cancel my daughter’s account as well I someone can help me understand why I should continue to do business here.

Normally I would go to the one in Fayetteville, it's closed down due to remodeling. This gym is pleasant and the staff is simply amazing(everyone is friendly). Everytime that I go it is a joyful experience. Lastly the restrooms are always clean. I am think about changing my membership to this one. They are upgrading my local location. So I have to come here for a few more weeks😮‍💨. Everyone has on headphones to listen to their own music. Why must they play this thug music so loudly? I give this place a 5 star solely on the amazing customer service given by the young man by the name of David on the late night shift on Tara Blvd. Sometimes I come alone and sometimes my boyfriend will accompany me, but every single time David speaks upon arrival and say he good byes when departing. which motivates me to want to come back because I'm big on customer service and positive energy and Everytime he provides that. Not to mention whenever I come which is normally 3x a week. He's always the one doing all the cleaning and wiping down the equipment. Which was a plus. #I think a raise is well needed lol. The other worker Allana I believe her name is also showed great character and always speaks, but the dark skinned younger female who I don't see there any longer didnt speak or acknowledge anyone, but her friends that was there. #Vibes all off. Far as the equipment goes I never had any issues and I absolutely love the hydro massage bed.

I just left a bad review on the planet fitness franchise near this one which is owned by the same franchisee.
I called corporate Planet Fitness about this visitor contract that restricts individuals to ten days in a thirty day period and Guess what, Planet Fitness Corporate is behind this limiting agreement which deprives customers of being able to use their planet fitness black card membership as originally comontracted.
I left a copy of my 1st district federal court case that I filed in Washington DC with this franchise and I also informed Corporate that I might defined me a money hungry lawyer after I read my years old contract and compart it with federal law as the Planet Fitness Corporation falls under the guidelines of Interstate Commerce .

Jonesboro-Tara blvd- Planet fitness works for me because it simply takes me out of my comfortable routine and remain active .... My first check in, the front desk were extremely welcoming, he was helpful- he even helped me out on switching location on the app to my actual gym location; this was a plus and the atmosphere was direct, peaceful, smooth... And you can watch multiple shows at one time 😱🤯 mind blown, Ikr!.... If you are in the area and a of member stop by this one, it is good! 💯

The WORST service I’ve ever had in my life… I moved Over an hour away and I called and asked if I could attend this planet fitness sense now it’s the closest to my home . The woman on the phone I can’t remember her name but she was at work on Sunday ( 22nd @ 10:12 a.m) she told me after me telling her I moved … I recommend your home gym 🤦🏾‍♂️ CLEARLY training isn’t something plant fitness is keen on . Then after I said wait so that’s just it .. I got a membership an hour away I’ve moved and I can’t do anything about it now . SILENCE… literally without asking me to hold or anything she steps away from the phone and starts talking to someone else … I don’t find out she not talking to me until I say ummm huh , hello .. what .. oh you aren’t talking to me ( mind you ) when she came back to the phone she just started talking like she’d never left and said maybe u can do a transfer call your home planet fitness … smh I’m canceling my membership I hate company’s that take money and make it difficult for a person to feature the establishment, it feels like stealing and I don’t like that … I’m going to make sure I tell all my fitness friends and trainers that use planet fitness this story

Omg. It’s a beautiful day to be alive. I frequent this gym every week for the past month or so. Every time I walk into the building the energy is impeccable. But last night I went in to take a shower and a young man by the name of Caleb had an amazing spirit covering him to bless with the most kindest words ever. Words I needed to hear. I use to think the McDonough location was the best location until I visited this location. Staff very friendly, it’s always clean, and never over crowded. It appears each location has different equipment, and the options here are better. The deep tissue massage chair is a must after a great workout. Highly recommend this location, and plenty parking.

New manager Aliyah harassed me about my gym attire, not because it was revealing in any way- but because my sports bra (I pulled up the website I purchased it from) has an adjustable back and "real sports bras don't have an adjustable back, I have large b___sts and I should know."

✨Side note: They were not present in the room with us at the time. This would explain her glaring ignorance about what actual support is looks like, and why adjustable backs are usually required for anyone over a DD cup. So presumably they would be produced for formal occasions?✨

So now I have to wear my Nike sports bra (with adjustable back) that is a lot more revealing because it has a giant swoosh on one side and therefore "doesn't imply it's not a sports bra" because neoprene, a high neck, and 3 layers of fabric isn't enough. Sigh. This is of course not in any contract I signed, nor can this "rule" be seen ANYWHERE in their detailed dress code policy.

So be aware of this when considering visiting this gym.
