Very small, but also a small crowd. I do believe they need to add more dumbbells in another department only because the dumbbells are all the way over to the left and everyone takes the benches up over there so you have to carry the heavy dumbbells all the way over to the stretch room. Which makes me not want to do the workout because it takes a lot for me to carry the 80 lb across the room

Today two cars was broken into. Car brake ins are getting out of control at this planet fitness. The owner needs to really consider security.

Update: I have noticed security monitoring the parking lot on most days I'm working out which makes me feel so much safer. There has been no recent car break in so far. Thank you so much security officers.

The gym is clean and quiet! I wish they had some additional equipment found at other gyms but no problem working out here. You can definitely get the job done from weight lifting to cardio. They also have row machines.

However I don’t think they have air conditioning just the ceiling fans. The warm days it has been too warm in the gym for me. I need air conditioning and cool air.

How does someone with such a terrible attitude hold the position of General Manager? Dariyona M. is terrible and should be removed from any position of leadership. The staff is young but I've never had a negative experience until I requested to cancel my membership. You can’t just tell me to leave without processing my membership cancellation while continuing to charge me. The billing practices at Planet Fitness are predatory, and the level of disrespect and disregard I have encountered has made this an awful experience.

Dariyona M. was particularly unprofessional—she single-handedly ruined my entire experience with Planet Fitness. I have since found a new gym, which is unfortunate because the facility itself has so much potential. However, the staff and management completely ruin it. On top of that, the bathrooms are always filthy, and management refuses to listen to complaints.

I expect immediate action to be taken regarding my membership cancellation and a resolution to this matter. P.s. I have contacted corporate 3 times!

Planet Fitness in Lithonia located at the intersection of Covington Hwy and Panola Rd is staffed with inhospitable, incompetent, rude, immature employees. I am pretty sure this location isn't owned by the Alder group whom sets the gold standard for everything opposite of the aforementioned. My experience walking through the door wasn't met with the usual "Welcome, to Planet Fitness...Enjoy your Workout." Instead, there were a group of employees standing in a circle gossiping and snickering about what a gym goer was wearing. Isn't this against your no judgement policy? Today, squats are included in my circuit and to my surprise this location doesn't provide the neck cushion. Lastly, I visited this location before and while working out and there was a gentleman exercising at a fast pace, HIIT training. So he had to breathe hard and loud to prevent from passing out. An employee, asked the gentleman to keep the noise down or he'll have to leave the gym. I was in total shock because it's impossible to ask someone to control their noise level of breathing while working out hard. You're asking for a lawsuit. So yeah, I won't visit this location again. Wesley Chapel is good and Rockbridge is better. Just a heads up to my fellow gym goers out there. This location sucks but if you don't mind the staff it's a bigger gym, full of people who love to exercise, bathrooms and showers are clean, equipment is functional. To the owner or manager, re train your staff.

Just join Planet fitness and my experience was off. I was notable to operate some of the machines. First I went on the treadmill I didn't know how to start it so the youngman at the counter said I should press the green button which I did but I want it at a faster speed and I didn't know how to so I kept using it on slow then I went on other machines pressing the green button nothing happen so I left. My point is they at the counter should give more assistance with customers.

The footage I saw of my dearest elder friend being disrespected was absolutely gross and degrading. Planet fitness is known for the environment security that it gives to their members. Breakins are extremely common at this location. my vehicle along with 6 other vehicles were broken into in broad daylight. When it comes to the customer service, cleanliness of facility, and members inside the gym, I prefer this location over surrounding areas. Unfortunately I may need to go back to other locations. The Stonecrest (Covington Hwy) location has had an excessively increasing amount of vehicle breaks that have been going on since September and I don’t see anything being done about it from management. Members have had their vehicles broken into in BROAD DAYLIGHT while working out. I typically come later in the evenings during the week and earlier on the weekends and lately I’ve been seeing broken glass on the ground. Just today there are FOUR different piles of broken glasses in the parking lot. In the evenings the “security car” that is SITTING at the front is gone by 10pm leaving the dark parking lot unsupervised. Management needs to truly address this concern. Who wants to risk coming out to a broken car window after a work out?! It’s the holiday and just by the 4 piles on the ground today I can tell the break ins are picking up!! It’s sad cause I really did like this location!

I signed up online for a membership for Planet Fitness on October 13th and provided my address, zip code, etc. When I completed the setup, Planet Fitness assigned me to a location in a different county, 17 miles and 32 minutes from my home. I immediately call the location and I was told that I could transfer my account to my local Planet Fitness (2.5 miles away), but they would need 2 business days for the transfer to go through. I check back after 2 business days and my account has not been moved over so I call and they now tell me that I have to wait 90 days to transfer my account or I could get a Black card for $25 a month to go to any Planet Fitness. I had signed up under a $1 special, but if I cancelled my membership to sign up at my local Planet Fitness it would now be a $59 sign up fee. The employee at the Lithonia location was very helpful in canceling my membership at a location I would never attend, but she noted that she had signed up for Planet Fitness before being employed there and they put her home club out of the state. So beware with signing up with Planet Fitness online. It is a nice looking gym, but they did nothing to help me fix a mistake that they made signing me up at a club so far away from my home.

I LOVE this gym! For some reason it's NEVER busy which means I NEVER have to wait for a machine of weights (time is MONEY right? Worth $10/mo). I'm actually currently in the middle of my 2hrs and HAD to leave a review between sets. Amaria and Rinica both greeted me with a smile when I walked in. You ever been to Moe's? "WELCOME TO MOE'S!!!!!" I asked to get a burrito bowl I was so confused where I was. They both took a moment from their tasks to make me smile and this might be the best session I've had since coming here. Thank you Rinica and Amaria. I hope I run into your boss some day. BACK TO WORK FOR ME!

After over a month hiatus with Covid, I'm finally in good health to start back with my fitness journey. Paris came and found me after I checked in since it had been a while. I am a Black Card VIP member and was profiled in this Planet Fitness and asked to leave because I was in the lounge for too long without working out. I became a member of Planet Fitness because I work all over the country and use their facility not only to work out, but their lounge to do work quietly in a safe manner. As a business owner and dealing with constant moving of restoration equipment, I have to be physically fit. I chose planet Fitness, not because they’re minutes away from home, but also because of the equipment with todays technology. After a great workout I take advantage of the hydro massage table then the massage chair afterwards. The place is always neat and clean and a staff member is always inspecting equipment to insure our safety. Don’t just take my word, call and join today. You’ll be glad you did.
