PF is open 24/7 so you can workout on your schedule. So far it has not been crowded but you can use the crowd meter on the app to look before you leave home. They have a full set of machines and free weights as well as lots of cardio machines. The massage and tanning are great incentives as a PF Black membership is $25 while my local tanning salon is $50 so at half the price I get to tan and use the gym. My only criticism is that at my location (Martinez GA) the trainer is never available and the schedule is not great for 9 to 5 ers (they missed an appointment with no followup, very unprofessional)

I’m happy they’re back with the 24 hour access. The way I work, I can go after work now. The facility is always clean and well maintained. One of the perks for having a Black Card is I get to use the Hydromassage chair. It makes recovering from a workout relaxing and definitely enjoyable. The employees are friendly and always willing to help.

My name is Joey and I visited from out of town to this location this evening on the 16th of Oct. I used to consult companies and their day-to-day operations, and most of all their employees. Tonight I encountered a young man named "Ima". Im beyond impressed with this young man. His costumer service skills were absolutely amazing, and you could tell he was happy... Happy employees with positive attitudes are a rarity in this day and age, especially with the younger generation. If I started a company that required my employees to interact with the public, Id recruit this young man in a heart beat. Gravitating personalities in business is a superweapon. This location is just… weird. Was in the area used to work out here before moving to north augusta.

Casey was extremely helpful with answering questions about the total body enhancement. His care for my future vision really impressed me after he learned that I hadn’t had eye protection up until that point. He pointed out the dangers, gave me eye wear, and showed me how to use the machine. The gym is nice and overall kept clean. I do have some morning where the paper towels are missing and tvs are off. The women’s handicap stall toilet paper dispenser has been missing the outside plastic piece which is a cleanliness concern for ladies. We want untouched toilet paper when we wipe. I cannot recommend people use this Planet Fitness location with the current management, especially if you value cleanliness and are looking for a quality gym-going experience.

The men's bathrooms are rarely cleaned properly as well as barely maintained, having sinks and showers that don't work and are dirty. Some toilets are leaking and have not been fixed for months, as well as some dispensers inside the bathroom and on the gym floor have been broken for months. The men's showers specifically are disgusting and are rarely cleaned if ever.

When equipment and amenities are damaged or out of order it takes extremely long periods of time for them to be repaired, if repaired at all. I wouldn't recommend using any of the massage chairs as one is constantly malfunctioning and the other seems to be breaking down. They also have difficulty keeping certain drinks stocked (Core Elite Chocolate, Monster, Blue Powerade), as well as keeping the cooler full in general.

The weights and equipment are never reorganized by staff, so equipment is strewn all over the place. Members are not encouraged to return weights and equipment to where they belong either, so most just leave them wherever they last worked out. A majority of the time if you leave something in one location leaned against a wall or somewhere random, it'll still be there the next day.

It seems like management doesn't keep track of the cleanliness of the gym floor or bathrooms until it becomes too big of a problem to ignore. There seems to be no consistent cleaning schedule in place, as a majority of days I can find paper towels, water bottles, and other trash in the same place it was the previous day, just like the equipment.

Until management gets their act together or changes, I would avoid this location unless you can put up with everything I've listen above. Attached are photos from the men's bathroom as well as dispensers and equipment from the gym floor.

I have been a member of PF in the past and enjoyed it. I just joined again and worked out for the first time tonight and was disheartened, to say the least. The 30 minute workout room is nonexistent, several machines are out of order, the majority of paper towel holders have nothing in them so you have to search for one to wipe down your machine. Then I went to the bathroom before I left and couldn't get the toilet to flush or the water to turn on to wash my hands. I'm shocked that you would have your gym in this state being that your likely busiest month every year is just a few days away. I hope these are all just temporary hiccups, but if they aren't I will be finding something else very soon.

Great enviroment to really have a great workout, always clean, weights on shelves, bathrooms always clean and you dont have to wait to use any of the exercise machines, plenty of space to do your own thing, the most corteous and helpful staff. I have been there a month and manage rto lose 6 pounds i can see and feel the results on hard work. I am using the app also for some of my workouts, i need help with abs and upperbody, so thanks PF i am very glad i join!
