This Planet Fitness doesn't open hours described. Several times I came and was closed cars outside waiting. Sign always state closed because of water flooding in bathroom issues. I had to waste my gas to travel to another one. I was there at 7 a.m. this morning. It's always about the same time. Employee there lights on and same old sign about repair needed for plumbing issues. I think it LAZINESS. And eating breakfast is disgusting for members like me that have membership and my husband

Spoke with a woman named Robyn over the phone, I came in and she assisted me with the issues I was having regarding my billing. I was able to cancel my membership successfully. Came in to finish my workout because of the location was enroute from where i left and used this gym when ellenwood was closed. Lady was rude, I asked gentlemen behind the counter if he could charge my headphones he said yes. She abruptly was like no we can't take someone's stuff behind the counter. After I had checked into nearly a dozen other gyms recently that were not my home gym, using my phone number, this guy refused allowing me entry to the gym because HE can't find my account using my phone number. This location has its pros and cons usually great service and clean however cons are some of the frequent goers such as the two young gentleman who love to sing out loudly to each other and gossip to others and the dreaded three months of hell when corporate give free membership to the teenage youth which extends usually to June to August which results in over crowding and more vaping in the locker room even though the sign says not to with the occasional drug dealer trying to sell some junk enhancers.

( There are good kids in those lots but most are not respectable.)

Please start enforcing the rules regarding signing a few lyrics is fine for a pump up but not 5 mins of on and off karaoke !

Your staff is polite but pushovers believe me all us regulars would love to grab annoying violators and throw them out doors ourselves if we could ….

I’ve been a loyal member since 2021, but recent experiences at the Morrow location, particularly involving the general manager Robin, have left me extremely disappointed. On Tuesday, I brought in my coffee cup, which had a small hole near the lid. I was told I couldn’t bring it in, so I politely took it back to my car and continued my workout without issue. Then on Wednesday, I brought a completely different cup with a secure closed lid, and an employee told me I needed a screw-on lid—something Robin never mentioned. When I brought this up, Robin admitted she might not have told me that specific detail. There’s no clear signage explaining this policy, and I’ve never had issues like this before. I completely understand safety rules, but inconsistent communication and vague policies make for a frustrating experience. Trying to stay healthy shouldn’t come with unnecessary stress. My time has been wasted today and I’ve canceled my membership and switched to LA Fitness after 4 years smh. AVOID this location if you want a HASSEL FREE experience.

In September, I met with a member of the management team in person to discuss canceling my membership due to medical reasons. As of today, planet fitness is still deducting payments from my account. I've been training with Devaunte the trainer for 6 months and he is awesome. He targets the areas you want to work on and changes the workouts monthly to not only help you reach your goals but to also keep you engaged.
The staff at my Morrow location are great as well, very welcoming. The facility is always clean and the machines get fixed quick if inoperable. And now we are getting new machines and renovations. 10 out of 10!!

September 14th 2024. I came on Saturday never come on Saturdays. Basically didn't know what time they closed but I noticed the lights got the flickering like it was having a storm. Nobody came in the latest restroom to check and see if anybody was still in there but I was but God touched me and said you need to go see what's going on. Because I couldn't take a shower because it lights kept going off and on and off and on is that some kind of something you all do instead of sending a human to check the place before you lock it up. The bathrooms reeked of urine the floors were dirty the showers had hair and everything in it like it had been like that all day. But when I come during the day morning and evening time that place is rock and clean smell good no trash on the floor and not rinking any urine. I'm new and I love coming to the gym 5 days a week I skipped the day through the week to come on the weekend. Not to know that that place smell like a a horse's Barn. Y'all need to step it up weekend people cuz y'all sleeping. And I know it takes grown people that come in there to do their duty also I'm always cleaning up behind myself even in the shower wiping down the sinks because that's just in me that's who I am I'm a germaphobe. But the bathroom Saturday were nasty the floors were dirty with all kinds of things people throw on the floor and then the piss was outrageous smells like a horse is born. I would never come on the weekend anymore because people through Monday through Friday they be rocking cleaning and always people in that cleaning up somewhere wiping down Everything. The manager Candice Cudjoe was very rude, dismissive, and short with us. My sister and I simply wanted questions answered regarding a membership my mother pays for us. She became aggressively mean towards us. She began talking down to us and answering calls mid-conversation. My family and I decided to cancel all 3 memberships with Planet Fitness because of this incident. Just overall very unprofessional. I have already filed a report and will be adding on that after this conversation happened a call was made by her to my mother. The specialist imposes the use of protective equipment for using the solarium, and does not allow using the solarium without these protective equipment. My tariff includes all services related to this tariff. I do not understand why these protective equipment are offered separately, without which it is impossible to use the solarium. This is strange and the first time I encounter this. I ask the managers to consult their staff about this situation. I was inconvenienced by this situation. All my life I have decided whether to use protective equipment or not myself. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service of the staff.

The general manager, Candice was not very welcoming. She seemed to be out for us the moment we walked in. My boyfriend is a black card holder at Planet Fitness & I was accompanying him as a guest. My hoodie was lost here but I think the staff stole it. Too bad they wouldn't "review" the cameras to check, probably because it would've revealed their guilt. I don't have enough evidence to prove it, except the fact that it went missing from my trip from the parking lot, to the locker room; only put my bag down to scan the QR code. I recently had an unfortunate experience at Planet Fitness MORROW, and I feel compelled to share my concerns. My husband, teenage child, and I encountered issues with the general manager, Candace, regarding our son's use of the facility.

Despite the gym not being crowded, Candace displayed poor customer service and harassed us about our teenage boy utilizing the gym. We believe it's essential for our son to focus on health and fitness rather than being out in the streets. We are raising a BLACK man in AMERICA, so you have to know how disappointed we were when Candace (who is Black herself) did not show understanding or kindness in this situation. Our son is homeschooled and we thought PF a great place for his "Physical Education".

I hope this feedback prompts Planet Fitness to address such instances, ensuring a more inclusive and supportive environment for all members, regardless of their background.

Other PF's we've visited across the country welcome my entire family open arms. Not sure why Candace or the entire Morrow location is so out-of-touch but there needs to be a policy update effective immediately!

I look forward to updating this review of any positive changes that come of this.

UPDATE: 1000 views and almost 2 months later and still no resolve. Planet Fitness MORROW has completely lost our business, thanks to its General Manager, Candace/Candance (however you spell the name).

I enjoy the welcoming environment. It's spacious, lots of equipment options, the music, tvs, added perks.

Trae, the trainer, is amazing. His energy is magnetic, inspiring, and authentic. I haven't worked out in years, and his patience is applaudable. I've felt embarrassed, and he's assured me that he has faced some of the same issues, like motivation and consistency.

Again, this young man is the top reason why I've returned. I will hopefully continue to stay motivated and do the dutiful by making this a lifestyle change.

I have been coming to this gym about a year. The staff is always polite and receptive. I take advantage of the free classes taught by Trae. Trae is very committed to making our workouts results-driven. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and extremely patient. The gym is always clean. Candice the manager is atrocious with her attitude. Apparently if you don’t agree with her OPINION and not the actual potential policy she’ll berate you, send in male goons to get you to leave/pressure you even if in the locker room. Then threaten to have your membership cancelled.

Albeit I was frustrated with constantly having to type or rewrite personal information for what is a “policy” never before experienced in any of the other states. Prior. Her response of not because its policy but rather and get your popcorn ready. “Because I say so” is a deterrent amongst many others to avoid this planet fitness franchise. Pay the extra money and surround yourself around more professional employees and people there to actually workout.

A young gentleman by the name of Atorius helped mediate the situation as she was yelling at me initially and calling male employees I guess to pressure me to leave.

Perhaps instead of the usually heavy female managerial staff which is heavily swayed apparently by their emotion on how much they either like or dislike you in the current moment.
You promote a man who understands deescalation and conflict resolution.

Cancelling my membership after today. Was asked to leave while working out due to my shoes not being “athletic shoes,” yet a few others were wearing shoes other than athletic shoes as well and were working out without being bothered. Also saw a couple people using gallon water jugs as well as outside equipment - specifically a jump rope - which also violates the rules. Yet they too were working out unbothered. If the rules are going to be enforced, then it should be all of them rather than picking and choosing what sounds good that day.
