If I could leave 0 stars I would. I came in to cancel my membership after months of dissatisfaction. I started a conversation with “Ms.Maddie” at Front desk to cancel My membership and in the middle of her, trying to find my profile store, phone rings and she picks it up without saying nothing else to me. Not even a “one second please” . This doesn’t make me feel like a valued customer at all and. I should’ve canceled sooner. I will definitely never be back to any planet fitness

Selective rule enforcement:
I was told I can't work out in jeans and was turned away, the flowing day I came with shorts and I noticed several gym goers in jeans and non gym pants like slacks. Thanks for making me feel singled out.
It's not like this place doesn't suck enough as it is, of all the planet fitness locations I've been to this the messiest and even though the men's locker room doesn't stink this time it has stunk so bad that it could be smelled from the water fountain.
Also don't bother coming in the afternoons expecting to get on the Smith machines, folks like to camp out on those machines for hours.

Planet Fitness on Jimmy Carter Boulevard has truly helped me build confidence in myself. I used to find gyms intimidating, but the supportive and welcoming environment here completely changed my perspective. The staff is incredible, and one person who consistently stands out is Diamond. She goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a positive experience—offering encouragement when needed and always ready to assist with a smile. Worst gym ever. Most of the team members there are always on their macs at the front desk when I come in Thursday’s and Friday’s to meet with the trainer, and never actually say hi or bye. One time I spoke to this gentleman about trying to cancel, and he had those little earphones in in the whole time, not even responding to me. There needs to be more supervision on them at night because I NEVER see any managers. From what the trainer tells me, she wants to quit as well due to inappropriate behavior of her manager, I wish her well. Please do better.

As I leaving the facility, I realized that I left my jacket in the locker, so I walked back in to get my jacket. The manager asked me to scan my card again. I was then approached by a cop as I was driving out, who proceeded to tell me I "CANT" park in the Planet Fitness parking Lot when Im working out. I called the facility after they were no help. I wanted to provide some feedback regarding my recent experience at your Norcross location. I stopped by to sign up as a new member, but unfortunately, the experience was far from welcoming. The front desk employee was video chatting with a friend and eating when I approached. When I mentioned I wanted to sign up, she ignored me and simply pointed at the QR code to register online.

I attempted to sign up via the website, but my payment wouldn’t go through. When I asked for help, her response was, “I can’t help you if you can’t sign up on the website.” As a potential new customer, this kind of treatment is disappointing and definitely doesn’t encourage me to try again. If this is the standard of service for new members, I can only imagine how things might be down the road.

I was hoping for a better experience at this gym since it was closest to me and it was my first time ever in any kind of gym ,but it fell short in a few key area.The biggest issue is the lack of available fitness trainers. If you’re new to working out or need guidance, you’re on your own here. There’s no one around to help with questions about equipment or workout routines.

On top of that, the staff isn’t particularly helpful. They seem more focused on checking people in and out than providing any kind of customer service. When I asked about certain machines and membership options, I received vague answers that didn’t help at all.

There are very few and less updated equipments but the gym is fairly clean.But without knowledgeable and supportive staff, it’s hard to feel motivated or confident. I’d recommend looking elsewhere if you need a more hands-on or friendly environment to reach your fitness goals.

Management needs to do better!!! The assistant manager Manuel to be more specific. I've notice he likes to pick on people and make them wait to check in like their on his time. As a business owner I can tell you he is not the person you need representing your company. He tried it with me today and I set him straight. He even forgot how to speak English for a minute.
He needs to worry about having a clean facility with working equipment and clean restrooms instead of trying to feel superior to those that come here. He's one of those type of guys and it shows

I have had no problems with planet fitness I have had minor problems in the past as I have used my black card membership to use lots of different locations however I have never been so disappointed that I have wanted to take time to go online to share my unpleasant experience however I used this location and manager Manuel said to me that I cannot wear my shoes in here and that I have to leave I find it odd because I have probably used twenty different locations and nobody has ever said anything as of today I am canceling my membership and taking my business to another gym chain I pay for a premium membership to scan in use the gym and go about my day not to be sent to a another gym by a rude power tripping manager

I went to workout at this location on 7/8 and 7/6 each time the guy by the name of Manuel who works the front desk had something to say on 7/6 he said my girl couldn’t record a video of me and her working out on her cellphone, which we never record anybody else in the video because it’s planet fitness. Today on 7/8 I had my world gym stringer tank top on Manuel didn’t say anything to me directly as I scanned in even though he was looking at me instead he sent another gym staff to wait outside of the locker room to tell me I couldn’t wear my stringer tank top. He told me Manuel told him to say that, so I went directly to Manuel and asked what is the issue because on both occasions I came in there he had something to say. He said it’s company policy about the stringer tank tops but I didn’t see any policy regarding stringer tank tops. As I was walking out of the gym Manuel said he is canceling my gym membership. I’m requesting a full refund for my annual fee since he did cancel my gym membership and I went to another location and worked out with my stringer tank top without issue. I explained the reason Manuel canceled my gym membership and I joined another gym that same night with better amenities and a better membership than the one I had at planet fitness. Manuel and this planet fitness location is a joke. I’m requesting my annual fee refund and I’m requesting Manuel be fired. I wouldn’t recommend planet fitness to my worse enemy, no other gym has ever told me I couldn’t wear my stringer tank tops, I didn’t have any nipple showing or anything. I’m calling corporate tomorrow morning to file a complaint against Manuel for this discrimination, I won’t be satisfied until he is fired.

This location is closer to my job and I tend to go there during my 1 hour lunch. I never had any issues going to this location until today. Tuaka (not sure if he gave me his real name) refuse me usage of the gym because I did not have a second form of payment on my account. I explain to him that my main bank account is attached to my planet fitness account and planet fitness pulled their fee on 02/20 and every other month prior for the last 3 years or more. I also told him, I had never had an issue before and he stated the other workers were not doing their job if no one ever told me. I felt embarrassed because we were standing in the middle of the gym (he had ran me down to tell me he needed the another form of payment) and had to leave to get a card to add to my account. My workout was shorten because of this delay. My account has never been delinquent and I have been using planet fitness for more than 5 years. But now I may need to think about finding a new gym if this is how paid members are treated.

I left my information about 4 days ago so she could update me on this and I haven’t heard back . I have to say I love the Planet Fitness on Jimmy Carter in Norcross. Iove the club it's clean the atmospheres for the most part is clean and comfy. Most members keep to themselves and just let everyone workout. My only issue is are a few things
To many kids just clog certain areas up. They leave weights all over the place. They just sit on weights talk and pose. I'm not paying 25 a month to see kids act like it's a Mall. They should be 18 and up to be allowed at the gym. Some do workout most don't. Also Everyone at the front desk seems so occupied most times that they don't even focus on the paying members. Holly is the only one that I see that makes a huge effort to say hello goodbye have a good workout daily. The rest are focused on there cell phones and talking to each other. Instead of focusing on the reason they are there. They are getting paid to do a job. And there not. The guys seem to be the nicest ones working there. The women seem to be more annoyed when we ask something or focused on there phones. I would bet the manager wouldn't like that. Unless they are the same way. Not a lot of friendly interaction since the change of management I have noticed. I'm focused on my workout but when I walk in and leave I expect something from the front desk employees who are getting paid to do a job. But are not doing it. Thank You
