This Planet Fitness has been one of my favorite stops in Snellville. I’m in here early before meetings, and it’s always clean, organized, and never too chaotic. You really appreciate a gym that helps you stay balanced when you’re running around the city all day.

If you’re new to Gwinnett or thinking about making this area home, the community here is one of the reasons people love it.

While others of gyms are 24/7 for the same monthly rate most planet fitness in gwinnett county ga are 24/5 without any consideration to access of. PF can bring about challenges as they are usually small in space with limited acees to equipment, can be bad when crowded.

The manager at the Snellville Planet Fitness named JOSH was completely rude and unprofessional! My mom called corporate and was told it is not a requirement for her to have a picture on file. JOSH approached her regarding her picture not being on file. She stated she was not taking it and walked away to proceed with her workout. She then realized she forgot her gloves and when passing the counter again instead of JOSH asking for her ID to confirm her identify (which she has never had to do before this morning), he rudley informed my mother that he canceled her membership nationwide because she is and quote "An Angry Black Women" and then proceeded to tell her about the ID requirement after the cancellation. The audacity of planet fitness to have someone that inflicts this level of misogyny, aggression, and unprofessionalism to the public is unfathomable! My mom was completely humiliated and now my enitre family is forced to find a new gym. We will not continue to support an establishment that treats our mother this way. She left out of the gym in tears!

Gigi was awesome! She was super helpful, friendly, and has outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills. She gave me a tour of the gym, showing me the new equipment, massage chairs, and red light therapy rooms. The gym itself was very clean, including the locker room and bathrooms.
The only downside is that gym etiquette is different these days. Lots of gym goers hog the weight machines while facetiming their friends, or scrolling through their phones for more than the average rest time between sets. It’s not something the gym can control, but if anyone who goes to this gym to workout and is reading this, please be mindful and considerate to the people around you. You go to the gym to workout, not sit on your phone.

I’ve been to many Planet Fitness locations, but the Snellville club is truly special thanks to team members like Asia. She goes above and beyond to make sure I feel welcome every single time I come in.

Asia, the overnight employee, isn’t just friendly — she genuinely cares. She remembers me, checks in, and makes sure I’m having the best experience possible. You can tell her kindness is real, and it makes a huge difference walking into a place where someone is happy to see you and treats you with respect.

She’s empathetic, professional, and uplifting, and she makes the gym feel like a place you actually want to be. Planet Fitness is lucky to have her on their team. She’s the true definition of “judgment free zone”

He was even so kind as to help me move the equipment over to where he suggested I go, and explained to other people that I was still using a machine when they would take it over!

Although I thoroughly enjoy working out in this updated planet fitness, I hate the interactions with staff! Nearly every other visit, I am being questioned about my bag when I have explained multiple times that I have accessibility needs which were suppose to be notated in my account. Tonight was the final straw, a new staff member who greeted me as I came in with the same bag I always do said nothing at all until nearly 40 mins into my workout, frustrating isn’t even the word to begin this interaction especially since I am always being questioned about my bag situation the manager already handled, he then moved his complaint from my bag to my shoes, foam runners and said because they don’t have laces they are out of compliance. At this point, it’s unnecessary that I have to explain my accessibility needs. I’ve been working out in the same shoes for months and never had one word mentioned to me. Until tonight, since Mr. New Staff wanted to get his point across. These are the kinds of interactions that create barriers for people who are chronically ill, have hidden disabilities, and or need additional assistance that should not require telling my whole business to the entire staff of planet fitness where “wellness” is centered. Please work out a system that allows people to have their needs met with dignity and creates safe policies.

The New Equipment (blacked & greyed out with dark purple atmosphere) is a huge upgrade and makeover. This gym is just really nice, it has everything I need and then some.

The staff are super friendly and keep the place tidy, they deserve all the respect and glory for great upkeep.

10/10 would recommend, because it is not like how it was before!

Well, I experienced another GREAT DAY at Planet Fitness. Today David (manager) greeted me. He was well groomed, fresh hair cut and pressed uniform. Staff was Awesome and Courteous. Today I meet Amy, she had the bathroom spotless. I told her thank you. I think members should thank staff for there hard work keeping the place clean. The night time manager, Tiger is very rude. I've asked her for help several times and her attitude is not welcoming. She does not come off as a customer service type of manager. I'm considering going to another gym because of her.

The staff is attentive and friendly. I like that the facility is always clean ( I've even seen the staff cleaning or tightening equipment). I also like how Planet Fitness promotes cleaning of the equipment by the customers as well. Lastly, 95% of the equipment is operational; if something is not working, it's usually fixed in a week or two. All in all Planet Fitness is way better and a polar opposite of LA Fitness.

Been a member at this location over five years now. I enjoy the place but it was quite stuffy in there today (May 14). We need some more AC and fans adjusted up now that we’re getting into warmer temperatures and more humidity. If no one is at the front desk you are in the long game and will be waiting for at least 20 minutes before you will get any assistance. If the interaction wasn't great enough most of the new equipment hardly targets what it is supposed to and only puts more stress on your joint, unless you are comfortable with free weights. Been at this location for about 3 years, love the upgrades ….. but do think their needs to be more space to stretch. Maybe putting some mats in other rooms would be convenient then having to walk from point a to point b just to get a mat.

The staff has changed a couple times but I def like the staff rn. Anytime I let someone know about paper towels or toilet paper they get to it right away. And I must say the new manger Candice does a great job. She’s the first manager I saw ever get a latter to clean equipment and she’s LITT ALWAYS cleaning! As a member I appreciate knowing the equipment is getting cleaned off.

Only complaint is the hip thrust machine seems to always be broken and the fact there’s only 1 quad extension machine is a lil frustrating because it’s always taken but other than that I enjoy my planet fitness so much! And would def recommend anyone looking to start they’re fitness journey

Typically an awesome club clean and well maintained. I will say often the restrooms leave something to be desired but I'm sure that has something to do with the patronage and the paper towel dispensers often are empty and or do not function. Today however I had to leave the gym after about 5 minutes and I even went to the front desk and spoke to the young lady and she just kind of laughed and blew it off. One of the machines in the building and I can't be sure which one was emitting a horrible constant screech screech screech screech as it was being utilized, which tells me it has an issue I would think as a employee you would go and search it out and shut it down or figure out what's wrong because it can't be good something's breaking or broken or not right! The sound was so off-putting especially with my auditory issues that I had to leave I could not work out with that constant sound. Even though I went and mentioned it to her she just ignored me and I told her that I was leaving because of that reason and she just kind of laughed and shrugged and ignored it. I would think the owner would want his equipment handled better especially since they just did a wonderful upgrade of most if not all of their equipment. The sound was awful and I could hear it even through my earbuds and with the club music going on. Thank you for your time and attention

For the most part, I enjoy going because it's close (except for the time the club renovated and I had to go to Loganville) my concern is staff members standing around, with half the towel dispensers empty is concerning. Also, it takes too long to repair broken equipment. I asked a manager about one particular machine and she replied "that she was aware and that it's not the staff that damages equipment". I was as little put off by that comment. Staff need to be better trained at communicating with clients. Last I checked, access to the gym is not free. Staff needs better training!

Normally I love this gym. Especially with the new equipment. The staff are also great. I constantly see them cleaning and restocking where before most of the time they sat at the front on their phones. 3 stars for advertising opening at 5 am on Dec 26 and not actually doing so. I understand It’s after Christmas but don’t advertise it if they didn’t plan on actually doing so. The parking lot was full of people waiting to get their day started with a good workout. Most people actually try to workout before work and that just throws a wrench in their day and causes them to be late to work. I ended up leaving after waiting 30 mins and still not opened. One person even walked up there and waiting outside in the cold. Hope they opened soon after.

I’ve been a gym member for over two years. The recent upgrades to the gym are fantastic! Really enjoying the new squat rack area in addition to all the machines that are now available.
The only thing I’ve noticed is the increased amount of personal training in the early hours of the gym when I regularly attend. I normally don’t mind it at all but when the size of the group grows to more than two people and begin to use multiple equipment for a “circuit workout” or take over an area it can be difficult to use the equipment you want. Maybe the gym has changed their policy on personal training outside of staff. That’s the only reason for 4/5 stars.

Money grabbing company that hides behind the small print of their contracts. You must go in to the fitness center in person to cancel your membership. Cannot be done over the phone or online. I moved out of the area and was unable to do so for several days, in the meantime they hit me with the $50 yearly membership fee and would not reverse it citing "its in your contract." $50 will not break me, however it is poor customer service.

After TOO MANY years, I finally decided to get back to the gym. This place has it all. The 30-minute workout area is perfect for beginners or those of us getting back into it.
