From the moment I walked in, I was blown away. This place is spotless—hands down one of the cleanest gyms I’ve ever seen. The staff? Absolute rock stars. Jevon, Fredrick, and Jay are always ready to help with anything you need, whether it’s a question about the equipment or just a friendly word when you walk in. I haven’t met the rest of the team yet, but if they’re anything like these three, then this whole staff is top-notch.

Fast forward a month of going every other day (and sometimes daily), and it honestly feels like family. The hydration area is always stocked with chilled drinks, the bathrooms and showers are squeaky clean, and the equipment is simple to figure out. Every machine has a picture showing which muscles it works and how to use it—and if you’re still unsure, the trainer on staff will gladly help. And yes, for those who want them—they’ve got free weights and strength areas too, so you can get a complete workout no matter your level.

The Black Card Spa is the cherry on top. We’re talking tanning, red light therapy (the Beauty Angel), and HydroMassage beds that make it hard to leave. It’s not just a gym—it’s an experience.

Sure, weekend hours are shorter, but during the week you’ve got 24/7 access, with staff always ready to help. They call it Planet Fitness, but honestly, it feels more like Planet Fitness Family.

If you’ve been putting off joining a gym because you’re intimidated, this is your sign. Stop waiting—jump in. You won’t regret it.

This PF had an awful smell by the smith machine area. The gum was not busy so I cannot report that it was sweat, def smelled like it has not been moped or cleaned as much as it should. The 1 employee who was working was polite. Other than the 1 guy who had to let everyone know he was there, my experience was good.

Management encouraged me to bring my grandson in with me for workouts with my membership and now that they have new staff he can't be in the facility.Not only that but told my grandson he can't be in the gym in front of everyone embarrassing him and making him insecure.Worst in class service award goes to new planet fitness employee.#Do BETTER definitely won't be recommending this gym to anyone anymore.

The thomasville location should push for the new equipment. The supine chest press, plate loaded calf raises, and hack squat would be highly used in thomasville ga. Please consider adding the new equipment to this location.

The Thomasville location is kind of... Basic. They don't have the mini lockers with built-in locks. They don't have some of the Black card perks, and they won't allow your Black Card guest to even enter the Black Card area. Never experienced that at any other location.

This gym has always been very clean, and the staff members have always been friendly with me. I would give this one a 5 star if it wasn't for an unnecessary double charge and a late fee for a transaction that wasn't late and haven't been able to get back after several phone calls. Went to address the issue in person and they gave me a number to call and once I call the number they say I need to go to address the issue at the gym 🙄

I'm a big fan of this Planet Fitness location. Most of the staff are very friendly to me, and it's well maintained. For some reason they periodically have trouble with one of the toilets and the men's restroom, but it's working at the moment so hopefully they've taken care of that issue permanently. The maintenance of most of the equipment in the gym is good and consistent. While PF locations aren't designed for people who want to lift really heavy weights, they do have a good variety of equipment and represent a great value for being able to work out, especially if you need access to a lot of places along the road.

Many of the gym members do not wipe down the equipment after their use, and staff does not seem to mind one bit. Other than that the gym is decent for the price. They make you come in person to cancel your membership, this is not convenient at all, Especially in the 21st-century. They charge you for an additional month after canceling which is fraudulent and unethical. Will not be returning.

I have been a member of several health and fitness clubs over the years. For the past several years I have kept my black card membership with the Planet Fitness chain. I have used this black card to visits clubs across the country, including San Francisco, Colorado Springs, Reno, NV, Panama City, and Albany, GA. In addition, I pay for two memberships for my daughter and son-in-law at a Planet Fitness in Colorado Springs. I believe that the quality of the equipment, the cleanliness and general atmosphere of the clubs, and the friendliness of the staff make it far above any other club in my experience.

I do think that your decision to remove the scales from the locker room was rather silly, and I miss the opportunity to track my weight loss progress while I am at the club. What will you do next, black out the indicator on the treadmill so that I can't see how fast I am running? I wish that you would re-install the scales, even if it is in some protected place in the black card area.

Normally I would’ve given this facility 5 stars based on the fact that it’s one of the largest sized clubs that you typically see for planet fitness, and the extensive quantity of equipment, especially cardio machines. However, I was surprised to see that they were lacking some weight machines that are always found in the best PF clubs.

I was also extremely disappointed to see that they chose to go with Matrix cardio machines. They have the worst ellipticals, which this club seems to have more of than any other machine. The best PF clubs have Life Fitness, which are the best elliptical machines.

Other than that, I was very pleased with how uncrowded the gym was at what would typically be a somewhat busy time for other facilities.

I was a planet fitness member for 5 years until I moved to Thomasville. On the 5th time of me coming in to find an employee asleep on the massage chair preventing me from using it. Had to cancel. There is literally someone asleep every morning there weather it be an employee, homeless person, or a member taking advantage. After cancelling, never received 1 apology or refund. What is a black card if I walk in to use its benefits and your employees are asleep in the very reason I upgraded to it. Very poor management.
