I’ve absolutely enjoyed my time at Ryze! If you’re looking for an old school gym to really lift some iron and push yourself physically, this is the gym.

There are plate machines for many different muscle groups which I love, especially for legs.

A tv inside the cardio studio wouldn’t be a bad idea. But it’s a great facility overall. Worth the money.

Got the chance to visit and train at RYSE
and I immediately was overwhelmed by the welcoming atmosphere. The owner is the most humble and honest guy I have ever met he gave us a tour an update on what’s to come and welcomed us with open arms.
The facility was absolutely amazing it was cleaned you had no idea it was a strength/bodybuilding gym. I immediately joined after my visit. Can’t wait to see what the future holds.

This is a hidden gem. Unlike all the commercial gyms, this local owned gym has the best of the best equipment and it is organized and clean. Everyone puts weights and equipment back after use. It’s not a huge gym but the space is utilized perfectly. Great for anyone wanting to get into powerlifting. The free weight equipment is incredible.

So I went here for a year and it was a really bad experience overall. The owners are rude and judgy. It's not a female friendly environment. It's not a plus size friendly environment. Which I get it, it's a gym but how do you think people get not fat? Right? Gotta start somewhere! The daycare is very limited and spotty - they have no consistency with the daycare staff. The equipment choices are pretty limited - it's just basically a bunch of free weights and some treadmills. Not to mention I was getting sick ALL THE TIME when I was going here - guess what happened when I stopped going here? I stopped getting sick. So it's as dirty as it smells, that's pretty much the only explanation for that. There are better gym options in West Georgia - trust me, I found one. You can get a cheaper membership at a better gym just right down the road.

Nice gym. All sorts of people in here. They have a large silver sneakers following. Gym is very clean and organized. They have multiple sets of dumbells in certain weights in case someone is using the ones you want.
I would like to see them get an actual decline bench and some newer yoga type mats and some decals for plate loaded machines that indicate which primary and secondary muscles the machine targets.
They have a few classes including a Saturday yoga class.
As far a trainers go I know of 2 that work this gym, there may be more but I'm not familiar with any of the others.
Overall I like this gym, it's close to my house which makes it very convenient.

Pros:
+Great options for weight lifting.
+Great rig for pull ups and squats.
+Owners are nice folks.
+The prices are fair for the options of equipment available.
+Child care options
+Decent cardio equipment.

Cons:
(Take my cons with a grain of salt I came from a CrossFit gym)
-no rower and no assault bike.
-Limited weights of kettle bells they have the lighter weights but a 54 and 70 would be a nice addition.
-Limited medicine/ wall ball options none of the soft balls are heavier than 14. A 20lb is what I was accustomed to prior coming here.
-No wooden pylobox for box jumps they have the metal stands with wood tops. They work, but it's not quite the same.

I first came across Ryze Fitness while searching for a new gym prior to moving from Florida. Even from a long distance the staff was very prompt and helpful in answering all my questions before moving here. Once I arrived and had a chance to check out the gym I was impressed, so much so that I signed up at first glance! This gym is very clean especially when compared to other powerlifting gyms and doesn't skimp on equipment. This gym is all things powerlifting without the attitude.
