Fantastic dance studio, and even better teachers!! Alfredo Horna’s private lessons, the best. 💃🕺Relaxed but focused - just chatting and dancing - feels less like strict lesson and more like an extended social dance with a partner who knows it all and then some. If I have questions or it’s not feeling right, Alfredo gives the simplest tips; I adjust, then, boom, we’re off again. Easy easy feel to his lessons - and more importantly to me, I’ve improved a ton after just two. His lessons leave me pleasantly tired, ready to stretch, but never exhausted. I can see my dance improving week by week, even though I swear the whole time it feels like we’re just having fun. Best hour of my week. Thanks Alfredo and Salon de Baile team!! Great place, great instructors! Lots of variety in their class offerings. Stretching class on Mondays at 7 is one of my favorites. Similar to yoga with sound healing. Allison is a great instructor, and will modify moves to fit your individual needs. Try it, you won't regret it.

My wife and I have been taking the "Intro to Ballroom Dance" for the past several months and have had a great time. The Intro classes feature two new dance styles and change monthly so things stay fresh. So far we've learned the basics steps for a ton of dances from the Tango & Rumba to East Coast Swing and my current favorite, The Hustle. They also have private lessons which we'll probably end up taking once we know which dances we like the best. It's a great date night and I can't recommend them enough.

I have had the pleasure of being a student at Salon de Baile since they opened in Pooler 3 years ago. The studio is beautiful and the dance floor is the largest in the area. I have taken lessons with all the instructors in the studio and they are the best in the business. They are kind, professional, and encouraging. The education program gives you a clear way to track your progress and see where you need to improve.
I attend the fitness classes and the Ballroom and Rhythm classes. The classes are split into levels that a beginner and an experienced dancer can all get benefits from attending.
SdeB is clearly the best studio around and if you are looking for a place to start or continue your dance education, you will not go wrong signing up here.

Rachael is amazing! My now-husband and I went to her for help with our First Dance song for our wedding. We already had the song picked out, so after listening to it she came up with the choreography for us. We came to her with only 2 weeks until our wedding, so we were a little nervous. Our first lesson was all about the basics of dance. The next three lessons she taught us the moves, breaking them into two parts to help us, and then we just kept practicing it over and over again until we felt like we got it. It was so much fun! I never thought we would be able to dance like that. Rachael was amazing! So patient with us and the dance was perfect! At the end of our last lesson she had several people from one of her regular classes come be our audience and we did one final run through of the dance. Now that our wedding is over I still want to go back and join one of her regular classes because it was so much fun. Highly, highly recommend Rachael!

We are among the many formerly loyal customers who left to take fitness classes somewhere else. Frequent changes in course offerings and last minute cancellations due to special events became impossible to deal with.
Be wary of paying for classes in advance - if you ask for a refund when they get cancelled or changed the owner snaps!

Pure enjoyment. If you are interested in learning a little ballroom dancing or just want to exercise and mingle, then Salon de Baile is the place to be. This place is highly organized and the instructor/owner is professional and thorough. My husband and I have learned more there in the last 4 months in just group classes alone then in any other ballroom studio we visited for the same amount of time or longer. The classes are very structured which helps tremendously. At the end of the class, the instructor let's everyone film the session so that you can take it home to review and practice. How awesome is that?
The cost is very low in comparison to others which makes it even better especially for the amount of skills one learns. I would highly recommend this place for all those reasons and more.

I have been taking ballroom group classes at Salon de Baile for a few months now. I am learning a lot more than in other ballroom group classes; the structure of classes enable all participants to be engaged in the process and Rachael is an excellent instructor as well as encouraging. She also makes the classes fun. I have a goal of moving up to the next level!
