Samson Health & Fitness Center, located on the campus of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, is an incredible 80,000 sq ft facility that boasts state-of-the-art cardio, circuit, and weight room with four basketball courts. The largest of its kind in the southeast area.
We offer affordable membership rates, one-on-one personal training, group training, and indoor and outdoor fitness classes. We provide a holistic approach to your fitness goals, including offering educational health resources.

Hi, I just want to send a shout out to Pam, who helps out at the fitness center. She has assisted our class with various tasks. She personally helped me set up a speaker system for Denise's class. Visiting from Baltimore to see Pastor Jamal Bryant and New Birth! The message was phenomenal. Then I came over to the fitness center and ran into Pam!
Pam is the most courteous and pleasant person I have met in a long time.
Her customer service was outstanding and she made me feel like family. I will forever remember her kindness and will come to the fitness center just to say hello to her.

A beautiful facility, that offers many different activities. I went to attend the Guru of Abs Senior Body Sculpting Workout Class with Coach DaShaun Johnson. I recommend the class and the facility.

Awesome. I definitely recommend this gym. They have something for everyone. If you are a senior and you live in the metro Atlanta Georgia area, come to the senior body sculpting class at 9:45 am every Tuesday and Thursday. We have a great time getting in shape and socializing with other seniors.

I Love playing Pickleball at Samson Health and Fitness Center. The Pickleball players are super nice, and it is a very friendly community. Pickleball is available indoors every day from 8:00am-12:00pm, except for Wednesdays and Sundays. They offer instructional lessons as well.

The 2 star rating is strictly regarding the cancellation process. I attempted to cancel my membership over the phone, I was advised to cancel in person. Attempted to cancel in person, was advised by a representative at the front desk that they did not have access. Returned on a later date to cancel in person, and was advised I would be charged an additional month for not canceling sooner. Cancellation process took less than a minute as the representative simply asked for my name to find my account, and canceled my membership with a few clicks of the mouse. No additional information or actions needed. I asked if access would still be granted for the additional month Iām being charged, representative advised to stop by the desk to check-in as my membership card has been canceled.

Nice complex. I was there later in the evening after my intended sanctUary office was my destination since in atlanta. I watch this church regularly and love the pastor Dr. Bryant who I wanted to read my book of poems. There was signage and 2 employees at the desk and also several people exercise walking. They closed the gate I entered into but found the exit to the right. I cant wait to see what they develop on the huge amount of land the church owns.

This is the fitness center at New Birth MBC. The facility is still functioning though it is showing signs of wear and lack of upkeep. It's as old as the church so wear is expected but care is needed by the staff to get it back to where it once was.

Why do churches always try to get people for money. They want 10% of your income, want you to bring in food so they can sell, you donate can goods etc and you can't go to there damn gym for free. Shame on you crooks!!

I lived in the community in which I allow both my children a membership at this facility. For two continuous years straight there were no late payments the payment of the membership was deducted from the account on time monthly for two years straight. Up to three months after I moved out the community I called and had the membership canceled.
Fast forwarding to today I move back to the community which is a little over a year later. I go back to the same facility and enrolled my kids again, little do I know that they now have been charging them for a year again a little over a year straight for a membership without canceling it but yet keeping it going and now they say that owe over $500 or close to, for both of my children.
This is ridiculous not only because why would you keep charging an account for over a year? So if I have been gone for five years my account still would've been accumulating?? This doesn't make sense !!! The ball was dropped on behalf of the facility because they failed to cancel the membership also they have no proof no contract signed saying that you have to come in person and cancel it you cannot call over the phone, I spoke with the receptionist about it not only is she rude about it but she tells me that an agreement that I recently accepted has been altered without my knowledge.
For this to be an establishment in a church facility you can clearly see it is not for the community but yet hungry for money! As much as this church has suffered publicly you would think they would dot their i's n and cross their t's but instead they try to cover their mistakes and get as much money as they can! SO DISGRACEFULL
