I privately started my get back healthy journey with Ms. Pam Myers August 15th, 2025 and I literally stuck to my own meal preps, better snacking, walking just a little more. I started stretching and it then became a part of my wake-up routine and it reduced my body aches I was having throughout my work day.

It's October 12th and I have 36 pounds down and I had not even noticed it. This news had me startled when my doctor told me my weight and BMI had dropped tremendously. I'm still in shock. But I am most definitely grateful for the small push and not forcing me.

Ms. Pam and I had little talks and I made the adjustments to fit my schedule, my health, and my needs.

The Wellness and Nutrition class is great! It is very informative about real ways to become AND remain healthy. The instructor, Ms. Pam, is very personable and attentive. She encourages you to choose a better lifestyle in a way that isn't pushy or judgey but rather comforting and reassuring. My favorite thing is that she is real and upfront about expectations. She recognizes that old habits are hard to break and being fit takes a certain level of commitment and sacrifice. But behind those sacrifices is great health, wealth, and longevity.

The chair fitness was exactly what I needed. The exercise was at my pace and stamina. I didn't get tired and I was able to keep up with the fitness instructor Pamela. The weight management 101 was very informative and taught me some things that I had forgotten, and how fat salt and foods processes in our body and also instructions on how to choose wisely what I eat.

In the "Group Chair Strength and Balance Class" I became so fit and strong that at age 83 I was able to visit Ghana for two weeks without getting tired. We walked an average of 3 miles every day and toured an average of 4 venues each day. Without the daily lifestyle reminders from Pam- nutritional eating, plenty of exercise, and sufficient test-drive I could not have been fit enough to participate. Mildred Coats

Absolutely great! She makes sure I’m comfortable, is considerate of my needs, assessed exactly what was needed for my body and goals, always offers words of encouragement and support, teaches proper form for workouts with patience, and gives very helpful nutrition advice for a happier and healthier lifestyle overall. And in the first two weeks of working out and changing my diet, I began to see results. A true gem!
