My son attended three sessions of the Tuesday evening boys class. The first two sessions went really well. The third session was entirely inappropriate. There were three students in attendance. For fear of injury, I removed my son early. Another mother did the same.

They delay to promote child to next level. Some childs have been there over 1.5yr and have not progressed to next level. Same routine for over 1yr and then child gets bored and doesn't want to continue. We've seen a handful of kids go on to other coaches doing other levels, progressing. It seems like an intentional lack of progression for monthly cash inflow. 🤷🏻‍♀️ They also raised the fee to $90...same service, no improvements.
I believe they intentionally do minimal in regular class, so you can request either for more classes. All 'coaches' do not seem engaged. I watch them.... You can definately notice an actual gymnist coach from a helper coach. No discredit, but I would rather someone of profession to coach... that's what I pay for, right.
I wish there was a better, fresh, updated Gym in my area.

This place stole from my best friend who is a mother of 2. She wanted her daughter to go to a particular class that she paid for and they simply refused to let her in. When they told her she couldn’t go to the class, my friend stated that she wanted a refund. Not only have they been ignoring her in regards to this matter, now they state she is only getting 40 dollars out of the 150 that she paid. Mind you, her daughter never attended the class she paid for.

Very unhappy with the way the owner does business. I brought 2 girl and had them in the parent tot class. My oldest was bored so the next time I let both girls try the 4 year old class and I watched the whole time my oldest did just as good as the other kids. My youngest was not ready just like many of the other girls and I completely understood. That day I paid for my first to be in separate classes and was happy. The third time we come in they refused to allow my older child to come into the class I paid for so after class I talked with the owner and they simply refused to allow her back in that class. I’m not going to pay for my kid to do something she does not like so I let the owner know we would not be returning. And the secretary later told me I can definitely get my refund. 2 weeks later I finally get someone in the phone (they were closed for 1 week) and they let me know I will only be getting part of my money back. I paid $150 for 2 girls in 2 different classes. Their fee is $80 for the year and the class charges were suppose to be $60 and $80. I have no idea what I was even charged for. Now they are telling me I will not get my $80 fee back and will only receive around $40? Where is my other $30? While 3 people try to convince me to bring my girls back. Extremely unhappy with this place. The tot class room has no AC already but we look past that to let our kids have somewhere to go and have fun. We absolutely will not be returning or recommending this place. I’m appalled with how this situation has been handled.

My niece has been going to this gym for a couple of months now. The coaches on the Excel Silver team only separate the children instead of having a conversation with the both of them. That’s not professional and it’s not promoting a stronger relationship amongst the team. After there was a meeting with the parents the child continued to bully my niece and today was the last time. Now she does not want to go to gymnastics anymore because of what she’s endured there. My younger sister and I went to that gym when it was Paris School of Performing Arts for almost 15 years and her nor myself ever endured that type of environment. There was more relationship building at that gym than there is now. Bullying effects the mental health and this child has bullied my niece more than once.

My daughter has been going to this school for the last 6 months and we didn't have any problems when she was in the regular gymnastics classes. However, for the last two months she was promoted to the All star team which cost twice as much as the regular practice, only for practice to be cancelled every other week. Out of the two months she was in All-Star, practice was cancelled four times and the last time it was cancelled without any notice to me, her parent. Furthermore, when I communicated that fact management was unwilling to even hear me out or account for the fact that I drove 30 minutes from my home thinking my daughter had practice only to get there and find out practice was cancelled. If I pay for a service to happen every week, I expect for it to happen every week... Not be cancelled every other week forcing the kids to either have to practice for three hours straight the following week (which is entirely too long when the regular practice is only two hours) or not be made up at all, which causes the parents to lose money. Needless to say, I now have to find another school for my daughter to attend where I can actually count on her practicing EVERY WEEK, which is what I pay for, and where I can expect to actually be notified if there is a change in the practicing schedule.

Someone from the gym did reach out to me after my review and offered to talk to try to make it right. However, after I responded that I would be willing to have a phone conversation instead of having to come all the way to the gym to talk (I live 25 minutes away) I never got a reply back. So there still was never a resolution.

Good news is that I have found my daughter another gymnastics gym that she loves and that NEVER cancels practice. Check out KidsGym USA. Hope this helps!

These people are so unprofessional and inconsiderate of 1st time guest(parents/students) at their establishment. We were not given a tour of the facility nor met or even introduced to any of the instructors prior to class. My kids and I had not a clue of who the instructor(s) were and where to go, was just left there standing looking from left to right to be guided to proper age appropriate class. Then my youngest heard an instructor yell "take your clothes off" and before I knew it she started taking her pants off, before I noticed! I immediately had to take my kids by the hand and march over to a random instructor with a desperate look in my face asking for help. By then, class has already started. My 8 and 5yo was pretty much just thrown in the mix with the more experienced gymnast where the instructors spent most of their time. This place has no beginners class for my kids age group. My kids was NOT shown proper technique and form and could have hurt themselves. I am very much so unpleased and sadden by this experience and will be seeking another gymnastics establishment that is a better fit for me and my family.
