My first time coming to this business and this location was 9/6/2025. I looked at the videos and website prior and thought it would be great for my child to interact with kids his age. The staff was friendly and so were the parents and other kids. My complaint is for the condition of the location. It smells so bad, it almost makes it unbearable to be there... maybe they tried to clean and the mats didn't dry, but it smells really bad...I almost wanted to leave because you want my child socks off but it smells this bad... the walls were pretty dirty too.. I use to take my child to tummy time at the library, it's way better for free..tummy time is more structured and engaging.. now they did have so.e structured activities.. the first activity was over before it started.. the parachute was cute n fun..my baby liked it. I didn't like the exploration portion, babies this young don't need that much free time, especially when there were no toys or anything for them to interact with. The balls were fun the kids enjoyed them. The bubble machine being broken was crazy... like you only have 1 machine that you use on the constant basis and not a proper back up.. also, the power went out and it was really hot in there. DEFINITELY NOT WORK 30 DOLLARS FOR ONE SESSION. As a parent and teacher.. I think the idea is cute.. but taking your kid to tummy time or catch air or even to the kids play area at your local gym.. also if you have free time during the week.. the local play to learn at the schools are better.

Extremely disappointed and concerned as a mother

As a mother, I trusted The Little Gym of Lawrenceville to provide a safe, respectful, and emotionally supportive environment for my 2-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite.

On July 28, 2025, my daughter was verbally attacked by another adult inside the classroom. This woman shouted directly at my daughter, treated her harshly, and even snatched an object out of her hands. When I respectfully addressed the situation, I was also yelled at and disrespected by that same adult — in front of other parents.

Even worse, the instructor present did nothing to intervene, later telling me, “I was with other kids and couldn’t do anything.”

I submitted a notarized formal complaint and demanded action within 48 hours. Instead of a resolution, I received delays, vague responses, and excuses. To this day, no apology has been issued, no action has been taken, and my child’s emotional safety has been ignored.

I have since canceled my membership and strongly urge other parents to think twice before trusting this location. Children deserve protection, not silence.

No complaints about this place at all!! The entire staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Their programs are great. My daughter has been coming here for 2+ years and she is always excited for gym class. A trial class is around $20-$30 and if you sign up with them you get that waived

My youngest (2 yo) has been attending classes here for the past year. And my middle child (10 yo) also attends some of the camps and special programming.

The classes are a perfect combination of instruction and free play. And the staff is consistently patient, kind and knowledgeable.

I also find the monthly enrollment fee to be a good value.

I love love love this concept for children. My grandson is a member. Teaching social skills in a controlled environment. Letting the children play, learn to listen to other adults beside their parents. When the training is done the teacher comes out and explains what routines has been introduced to the children for example how to jump off the couch or bed with two feet safely 🙂.

Responses were quick and my son enjoyed his class a lot. Everyone was very nice and helpful when we got there. My only picky reason for one less star would be that it was our first time going and we had no help before hand. No welcome and what to do/bring for your first visit information so we showed up completely unprepared (I had no idea it was a drop in class and my son needed a lunch/snack and a drink). Also I’m used to staff and instructors introducing themselves so we can meet and feel comfortable for the first visit (like not just dropping my child off with a stranger) but I guess they don’t do that here. Overall it was good and we will be back for more consistent classes.

I love how much my 2 year old learns from the teachers. His skills and strength have greatly increased from going to class. He’s also learned new words from the songs and dancing. The socialization with other kids is a definite plus! Overall, just a great experience.

My son (he’s autistic) just started last Saturday. He really enjoyed it but I couldn’t help but sit there and feel bad and uncomfortable because he was interrupting what the other children were trying to learn. I think that since the company takes funding for special needs children they should host a special needs class once a week. The people that work here are kind and understanding but that doesn’t mean other parents are when they pay for their children to learn certain things.

I love that it is a great opportunity for our child Luno to interact with other kids and allows us as parents to speak with other parents without dealing with the awkward introductions since our children are in the same program. The instructor is very thorough to make sure we feel comfortable with the activities we do with our children. We love the clean and welcoming environment. The teachers are nice and really try to keep the kiddos engaged. They offer a lot of classes at various times, so it should be something for everyone. We haven't done them yet, but they have parents night out and pre-k lessons at an extra cost.

I scheduled a class for my 3yr old and was texted a time with a link to a waiver - fill out the waiver showed up with my child and was told that the time THE GYM sent was wrong and the class was over - my toddler began crying loudly while other parents and kids watched in horror - another class was starting but we were not offered to join that class and the only thing they said was I could come back next week….They even stated that they didn’t know who sent the text as if I could make up a text with a link they provided to a waiver …the manager watches my daughter cry and didn’t show any emotion or sympathy AT ALL - she was very matter of fact and this person is working with children!!! I promptly asked for my money back - I left and took my kid to McDonalds to ease the pain…..horrible experience.

The pre k class is excellent! The teachers have an awesome personality for the age group. I also love how they do different things each class and they also learn academically in addition to gymnastics. I also like they give kids assignments at home such as chores who wouldn’t love this class :)

Today was my daughter’s trail class and she absolutely loved it! After 15 minutes into the class I enrolled her for the rest of the season. I was very pleased with the instructors. They offer multiple programs and I can’t wait for her to try them all.

I like the structure of the programs which I feel are age appropriate even for my 5 yr old. Mandy is the best, very patient with the kids and includes various educational aspects to her routine. I like the briefings we get as parents after each class. It helps you understand what to focus on, terminologies use din gym etc. plus they assign fun homework tasks to practice on before the next class. It is a well maintained, clean and well lit environment. My daughter has a wonderful time and has been asking to go every day of the week HA!!

My son Jonathan just turned 2 years old and celebrated with an Awesome Birthday Bash. I was very pleased with the high level of enthusiasm from the party leaders. They happily engaged the children with movement activities and games. There were at least 10 toddlers present and the party leaders were attentive to the needs of each child while serving refreshments. It was a fun-filled hour and a half, which is sufficient time for the kids' enjoyment.

I signed my little one up when she was only four months old. I wondered if it would be worth it. Within two month of being there she was trying to “tuck and roll” on our floors at home.The Little gym has greatly contributed to the developement of my child. The staff is wonderful and it is also one of the only age appropriate activities out there. It is essential for socialization skills and a wonderful way to get out of the house.

I love the structure as well as the repetition. I like how the children are encouraged to participate. In the beginning, my son wouldn't return the eggs, balls or sticks. Over time, he's learned that he should and it's ok. I like the new skills each week and how they combine with old skills.
