In response to my recent relocation, I sought a more convenient gym option. Union Fitness Center stands out due to its extensive range of essential equipment for both training and recovery. Additionally, its location on the Beltline provides access to community events.

However, I have observed significant cleanliness issues at this facility. The equipment, particularly the sauna and hydro plunge, appears to be frequently neglected in terms of function and sanitization, as the signage indicating their last cleaning is consistently outdated. Furthermore, I have noticed members failing to clean benches, treadmills, weights, etc.

Currently, the facility has only three disinfectant stations available to members, consisting of paper towels and a spray bottle. There are roughly 7 training areas so 3:7 is not good. Regrettably, there is no disinfectant station in the recovery room or restrooms. Furthermore, all yoga mats exhibit black residue, which is quite unpleasant as it tarnishes my clothing.

Despite my efforts to bring my own cleaning supplies, the overall cleanliness of the facility remains unsatisfactory. Given these concerns, I would strongly advise against considering Union Fitness Center as a suitable gym option.

As a Black woman, I do not believe that a community built on the exploitation of its workers is a place where money should be spent. I was conned out of my life savings thinking we were building a community partnership. I learned quickly that hundreds of thousands of dollars was already owed to local vendors and employees. Peoples' skills and time were used with no compensation. Multiple vendors were not being paid fairly (or in some cases, not paid at all). I mentioned my concerns to Ty McMath and the other investors [Swathi Padmanabhan, Aaron Goldman, and Marc Pollack] but was told that was of no concern to them as they supported Ty's actions for their potential payday. The employees at the time were let go for sharing their experience with me and told not to return though they had spent over a year working to build what is there now without proper compensation. I requested my money back but instead of returning my money, Ty McMath and his family threatened me for bringing his practices to light. It is literally the opposite of a "welcoming and supportive" community.

Huge fan of this gym when I used to go there before moving out of the city. Very friendly staff, and it is usually not too busy. The only complaint I had was that they change the equipment layout every other week so that can be frustrating. Other than that this is an awesome gym in an area that is lacking in decent gyms to go!

Went for the first time today to The Union Fit Hub. I used my WellHub membership to go here and check it out. I immediately loved the entry to the gym, the live plants everywhere, the dim lighting, and the entire vibe of the place was just really cool. I will definitely come check this gym out again but I still have to give 3 stars and for one reason only. All of the equipment was extremely disorganized, no weights were re- racked, and the saddest part was the gym was really unkempt (dirt and pieces of garbage all over the floors). Making me feel like it wasn’t very sanitary at all. Would love to see this gym with just a little more sanitation and organization as a focus point!

Highly recommend Union Fit Hub for self-care, rest and relaxation!!! Met the owner, the manager Scott & Joe while trying the 15 minute leg/foot massage. This definitely 💯 helped my feet 👣 while walking around the One Music Fest. I’ll definitely be back to try cryo therapy, cupping, & fitness classes at the gym.

I love this gym! It's clean, not too busy, good music, and so many different areas and machines to choose from. I love the fact they have real towels available in the restroom/ locker room, and a cold plunge. You can have a free healthy energy drink, and Bodied by J athletic apparel available to buy.

Wow, what an amazing place! I just had the most incredible experience at the Union Fit Hub. It's the perfect spot to get in shape, relax, and rejuvenate— added bonus Monday evening is the DJ is playing! The equipment is top-notch, especially the curved treadmill and those leg compression things. But what really blew me away was the infrared sauna with Rose crystals—I've never seen anything like it and if you know me I'm all about that! The vibes are awesome at this gym - it’s never too crowded, the staff and trainers are wonderful and friendly, and they have pretty much every machine/weight/equipment you could want. I love coming here, working out, relaxing in the sauna, and grabbing a smoothie! Plus they offer all sorts of classes, events, and extras (like the cold plunges, IV hydration, cryo-therapy). It’s also a very inclusive environment where people of all shapes and sizes and abilities work out and it’s welcoming to all different people! I can’t recommend it enough !

I don’t know where to start! The owner Ty McMath and Brodney deserve metals for making sure my Zumba Masterclass happened! I have a very busy schedule and can't always talk on the phone during the day and the staff worked with me. One of my students arrived early and was happily greeted. My students were extremely impressed by the The Union Fit Hub. We did not feel like we were at a regular gym. My students were able to change their clothes in the bathroom/locker room and join class without any issues. The Union Fit Hub has a futuristic flare to it. It also has a lounge feel to it. Brodney helped me set up my music with my dinosaur phone. Lol. I felt very comfortable with being around other fitness professionals. I will definitely have more events at The Union Fit Hub. All of my students are excited about the next one. The Union Fit Hub is also located on the Beltline. So if you like nature, food, and fun you can also explore the surrounding area. Friendly reminder to make sure you pay for parking. There are signs in the parking lot with directions on how to pay.

The parking on the street is NOT FREE.

I was told multiple times by staff that it was. And I received a $75 ticket . Be mindful of signs especially early in the morning before the sun comes up because the curbs are not paining.

Paying $2/hr to park in addition to a $150+ membership fee is very odd. I wont be joining

We hosted our Black Media Mixer here and the space is very nice. It’s a gym, event and content space; all in one. The owner and staff were very pleasant and helpful. I’m now highly considering working out there because it’s 24 hrs and had state of the art equipment.

This is the best gym in Atlanta hands down. Having tried several gyms, this one stands out above all the rest. The Union doesn’t feel overwhelming one bit. The layout is perfectly balanced and spacious allowing you to move around and tackle your workout without feeling crowded or rushed. Traveled to Atlanta for a college football game and was in search of a gym and trainer while on travel. I ended up working out with Nina at The Union Fithub for a couple of motivating and tough workout sessions. Her deep knowledge of fitness and personalized exercises to my goals were what I was looking for. This gym has to be my favorite gym by far. Not only is the staff kind and very helpful, The amenities that the gym offer is out this world! They offer full serviced smoothie bar, a cold plunge in the locker room, a state of the art recovery room, AND a nurse on staff who provides IV therapy!! I have been looking for a private gym for quite some time now and the Union Fit Hub set the standard. This gym is a content creator’s dream. The lighting is perfect and the amount of space you can utilize in your videos goes a long way. The gym is about to be 24 hours and it’s one of the reasons I signed up. I am a nurse who works day shift and night shift. Having a gym that I can access no matter what shift I am on, just goes to show how far The Union Fit Hub will go to accommodate their members. Keep up the good work!
