Just had a great leg workout at Thrive. This is a brand new gym with brand new equipment. Everything is clean, including the locker rooms, and the layout is easy to understand. I was going to use the attached sauna studio after, but the garage doors to the gym were open during my workout, so I had already worked up enough of a sweat. Iβll be back next weekend to try out the sauna on a recovery day and update my review then. If youβre in the Chamblee area and looking for a great gym, this is the place for you!

Such an amazing gym! The facility is always clean! The gym crew is so friendly. They have a family feel. The equipment is brand new. Prices are great for what youβre getting. The gym is spacious and not over crowded like LA fitness. This is a great place for families as well! The trainers are great with all ages and all people! The owner is a very kind man with a great attitude! It is a good mix of serious lifters and causal cardio people so everyone will feel welcomed. The saunas are next level. You have to see them.

I joined Thrive Fitness about 2 years ago and it is the best gym I have ever attended. I have worked out all my life and Thrive fitness is by far the best!! All the personal trainers at the gym are very knowledgeable, fun to work with and push you hard to achieve your goals. I look forward to my 5 am workouts with Gabe!!! The gym is very well equipped including a sauna. Inspite of being a large gym, it has a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I would highly recommend Thrive fitness to anyone interested in starting or continuing their fitness journey. I am very happy to be a part of the Thrive fitness family!!

Thrive Fitness Atlanta is amazing!! All new state-of-the-art facility, top equipment and great environment. Good service with friendly professional trainers and super clean and comfortable gym for everyone from beginners to professional athletes to train at. The trainers challenge you to do your best while making sure everyone has necessary modifications for their current level or ability. I have been training at Thrive with Gabe for three years and have never seen this much progress in my performance, strength, and physique. Thrive is without a doubt one of the best gyms in Atlanta. I can say this b/c I used to be a gym hopper till I found Thrive. I have been a member since January 2012. My trainer Kevin, is awesome. Where to start! Easily my favorite gym. Location, people and equipment are all high quality. Even the aesthetics of the gym with the exposed brick, windows bringing in natural light, turf grass makes this one of the best looking gyms.
In addition to brand new gym equipment, they have new ice baths and infrared sauna rooms with attached showers in your own private room.
Iβve been going here for a few months now and I enjoy coming in everyday.

I really enjoyed the location off Peachtree in Brookhaven. Unfortunately, this location is closing due to the opening of their new location in Chamblee. I fully understand that decision, but it's a real bummer that the new location isn't 24 hours. Not only is it not 24 hours, but it now closes at 8. So if you're someone who works later or has a commute, you're pretty much out of luck unless you want to wake up at 5am. Now I have to work out with the TikTokers at Planet Fitness.

Thrive Fitness is where Greatness is born. I started my journey approx 4 months ago to reconnect with my fitness levels focusing on gaining strength, lean muscle mass and overall emotional health. My personal trainer Delaney has been beyond incredible in every aspect of this journey. Delaney uses a professional and scientific approach to understanding your current capabilities while carefully motivating and progressing you towards achieving what you never thought possible. A testament to that was deadlifting my bodyweight in my first 10 days ! Since then I have only felt stronger, more confident and committed towards believing in myself and achieving my goals. I have been working with Renee Boyer for almost 4 months and I am so happy with my results so far. Iβve gained some muscles and loss some body fat which was main goal when I started. She pushes me real hard so that I can achieve my goal sooner. Renee has a very warm personality that I look forward when I enter the gym even if I donβt look forward to work out. Lol. I started working with Lloyd in late October 2018 to finally overcome the physical and emotional carry over that I had from a significant back injury experienced in 2016. My primary goal was to recover mobility and get strong enough to start running again like I did before the injury, knowing that weight loss would come along with it. Lloyd guided me through the difficulty of getting back after it. I hit a low point early on in the middle of a set where the fear of injury slipped back into my mind and he was there for me, helping me calm down and regain my focus in order to finish strong. He challenges me, but stays out of my way in order for me to rebuild confidence and challenge myself in both output and tempo. His routines for me are unique every time I come in, which keeps me energized, and I have really come to enjoy talking with him in-between sets.
I have lost 50 pounds so far and am more mobile and stronger than I was when I started a little over three months ago. I fully recommend Lloyd and his great team of personal trainers for those who are looking to become better versions of themselves. There are no silver bullets to strength training or weight loss. The team will push individuals to reach their fullest potential and get after it, but that is what engaging a qualified personal trainer is all about. Joining Thrive was one of the best decisions that I have made for myself and I cannot be prouder of my accomplishments so far with Lloyd's guidance.

When I say I am applaud that is to say the least. When I arrived to this gym after changing clothes I was basically told I wasn't there type of customer and this was blamed on my commute because I didnt live in the area. After my bs meter went through the roof I proceeded to call this guy out on it and tell him I was willing to commit to make it early in the morning. He proceeded to tell me that in order for him to train me I would have to pay 1500 dollars right now to start. Obviously he was doing this because he didnt want to train me in the first place. I mean who has $1500 just laying around? But thank you thrive fitness. I wouldn't want to be any place I am not wanted neither would I want to be part of a gym that isn't for anyone who is willing and able to meet there fitness goals. This is so sad. But then again I am not surprised. How do you start a conversation off by saying I dont think this would work for you?

My husband and I joined Thrive Fitness 2 months ago. This was our 1st experience working with professional trainers and it could not have been better. We worked with Renee, who not only helped us in training but also in planning the nutrition program catered to vegetarian diet. My husband lost 15 pounds in 8 weeks and his body fat dropped from 26% to 21%. I had similar results too and lost 13 pounds and my body fat dropped as well. Both of us achieved our goals and are extremely happy with what we achieved with them in just 8 weeks. If you're serious about training and need that extra push to reach your goals, this is a great place for you.

I have been going to group training 3x a week since February and have lost close to 25 lbs, gained muscle, and loook forward to going in to Thrive every week! I came in to Thrive and spoke with Lloyd to get me started. After I was scanned and was walked through how everything works, I was paired up with Delaney, who is amazing. He's patient, understands the types of workouts you need as well as the type of supervision you need. Even when he has multiple people simultaneously, you can tell he's giving each person the special attention that helps them the most. Not only is he focused on your goals, but remembers injuries and offers multiple solutions to help work whatever the problem is out. I have loved going to this gym - it is a comfortable environment with a friendly staff and no judgement. Delaney is an awesome trainer who gets to know his clients on a personal level and tailors your workout with specific exercises to reach your goals. AND I AM SO GLAD I DID. Working with Renee for a month has already motivated me more than I have ever been before. I have always wanted to lose weight, but for the first time I can actually see myself achieving my goals! Just in the first month I have lost over 10 lbs about about an inch everywhere off my body! Even through a week long vacation, Renee checked in on me and made sure I was making better choices than I would have before. I was even excited to get back to the gym after being away. After my back injury in March which required of getting two steroids epidural injections in my back, I finally said enough is enough. It was about time to put my health first, and it's honestly one of the best decisions I've ever made. I decided to sign up for personal training at Thrive Fitness in May of this year. Lloyd and all of the trainers are extremely dedicated, personable, and very motivated to help you learn and succeed. Lloyd paired me with Delaney who has been beyond incredible in every aspect. Delaney is very professional and knowledgeable. He uses a scientific approach to understanding your current capabilities while carefully motivating and progressing you to achieve the best result. Moreover, Delaney is constantly making sure that I am maintaining the right posture while working out to prevent injuries. My back pain is completely gone since I started this program and I have been in one the best shape of my life.

Thrive Fitness is a great place to go for a one-on-one or a small group personal training gym. Lloyd and all of the trainers are extremely dedicated, personable, and very motivated to help you learn and succeed. Lloyd paired me with Gus, who is a knowledgable and hard-working personal trainer who not only helped me physically, but mentally as well. Joining a gym and using machines and doing things I had never done before was not the easiest task; Gus helped me understand the training I was doing, why I was doing it, what I could expect to accomplish, and how to continue growing and maintain my success outside of the gym. Renee, who knew a ton about nutrition, also helped me with my diet (I was wanting to continue eating a decent amount of vegetarian based meals on top of the increased protein) and she helped me plan a healthy and nutritious balance of meals, protein shakes, etc. I did a 4 month program (3 days a week, 45 minute sessions each day) and would highly recommend Thrive Fitness to anyone considering getting a personal trainer or getting in shape in general!

Iβve lead an active lifestyle for a majority of my life but I noticed that the corporate world was causing to me to slack on truly being healthy. I started working with Renee at Thrive Fitness at the end of March and after 3 months have lowered my body fat percentage by 10%. Renee educated me on the importance of macronutrients and held me accountable to my goals with bi-weekly weigh ins and looking over my food diary. When I was searching for a recipe or wanted a good substitute for an unhealthy craving, Renee was responsive to text messages I sent her with questions.
In addition to helping me with nutrition, Renee planned workouts to compliment my other activities (ballet, crossfit). Her workouts pushed me and almost always had me telling her how sore I was the following day.
The support at Thrive Fitness overall has been great. Whenever Lloyd or any other trainer walked in they were friendly and encouraging. I highly recommend this gym for anyone looking to begin, continue, or re-start a healthy life!

I recently worked with Renee Boyer of Nourish & Flourish Nutrition and cannot recommend her enough. In the three months we worked together I lost 3 times more weight than I ever had trying on my own, and trust me, I had tried everything.
She not only taught me so much about the science and understanding of nutrition, but she taught me how to listen to my body to see what foods worked with me and against me. She gave me permission to enjoy myself and never feel like I was dieting or depriving myself. She got me into a workout routine that I actually enjoyed and looked forward to. She helped me understand that all aspects of my life, not just what I was eating or how much I was moving, play a huge part in weight gain and weight loss. Together we were able to identify some of my biggest stressors and ways to cope with them.
I walked away from the program not only at a much better place physically, but a better place mentally! I used to hate going to the gym but now I love it! I love the small/personal feel of Thrive. I'm not having to wait in line for machines and weights. The trainers and owner are awesome and everyone is like family. :)

Believe the hype!! Lloyd and team have made my journey to health and fitness very rewarding.
Iβve been going to Thrive for about 2 months now and I am stronger and healthier thanks to Delaney, Lloyd and all of the Thrive trainers. I enjoy my workouts so much so I literally look forward to my sessions. Delaney challenges me to pushes myself, and to pay attention to what I do outside the gym. It is clear he wants me to succeed. I have been going to Thrive for 3 years and am very pleased with what the team has done for me. I did not have ambitious goals. As a 60+ woman, my goal is to stay healthy and have strong bones. Thrive has worked with me on that. I have never felt pressured to work beyond my capabilities and interest and have always felt like as valued a customer as someone with a more strenuous ambition. I've been working out at Thrive for just under 3 months now and have gotten so much stronger in a short period of time. The changes show both in the weight room at Thrive and during other workouts, and I love the progress that I have made. I work out with Lloyd, and he pushes me much further than I think I can go, and seeing how far I can exceed my own expectations is an awesome feeling.

I was a very out of shape 64 year old woman who wanted to get back into shape, before I started going to Thrive Fitness. It was difficult, but challenging and I loved it. When I first came in, I was recovering from a sports injury. I had lost a significant amount of weight due to muscle βatrophy. I was terribly out of shape. After Dev had trained me for three months, I had noticed huge gains, improvement in my form, and my nutrition had also gotten better.
Dev was a great trainer. He taught me to train through failure, how hard to push myself, and how much fun the gym can be. I would highly recommend training with Dev at Thrive.

I was pretty athletic already been working out alot but wanted to take my fitness goals to the next level. I worked with the owner, Lloyd, who helped me make major progress over the 6 weeks I worked with him. He also was very flexible with his schedule working with me during off hours and days due to my limited availability which was really nice. It was alot of hard work and he pushed me past what I thought were my limits, which is exactly what I wanted and I saw quite a change in my strength and muscle growth. It is a bit expensive, so was not able to continue at this time, but well worth the money and I do plan to come back in the future when I need that push again.

Thrive Fitness has been a game changer for me, assisting me in finding balance in my life. My demanding career and travel schedule lead me to putting myself on the back burner, gaining weight and losing my focus on overall health and well-being. Specifically, partnering with Gustavo for my personal training goals has been the key to my success. He understands the unique challenges of my job and corresponding travel schedule, consistently going above and beyond to accommodate special dates/times for my personal training sessions.
Additionally, I noted during my initial assessment with Thrive the need for accountability and someone to check-in on me via phone/text. Gustavo texts me daily validate that I am holding up my end of the deal, verifying that I have ate healthy and completed my assigned workouts. In two months at Thrive Fitness I have lost 23 pounds and can already feel a drastic difference how my clothes fit. I have more energy and find myself excited to workout. Iβve been training at Thrive for about 8 months now. Iβve worked out at a few other gyms and joined various fitness programs in the past but I have never gotten the results or achieved my goals like I have at Thrive. Thrive is a very different kind of gym, you start out with a free evaluation where you work together to set your goals. You train with a Personal Trainer and work on a training plan in and out of the gym. All the trainers are very encouraging and customize the workouts to your fitness level. They push you hard and work with you to meet your goals.
I started out trying to lose weight and with the help of my trainer, Deveren, Iβve so far lost about 26 pounds. I trained twice a week and followed his advice on eating better and getting a few cardio workouts in on my own.
Thrive also offers training programs that are group workout programs. I recently joined one of the group programs, in addition to my personal training sessions. The program is great. Itβs geared to different fitness levels and offers flexibility in the number of sessions you attend and when you attend them.
I would recommend Thrive to anyone that is looking to train and achieve results in a very laid back and encouraging environment.

Thrive has been a life changer for me. Less than a year ago I felt terrible both physically and emotionally. I had gained to my heaviest weight and the lowest self-esteem I have ever known before I committed to making a change with the help of Thrive. Since that first day, I've made changes in my body, my activity level, my way of eating and most importantly, my way of thinking. I have no doubt that without the help of my trainer Deveren and the support of Thrive, I would still be gaining wait and losing motivation to improve. Even when I backtrack and put on a little weight, Deveren encourages me to get back on track. There is no doubt that it's been hard work. However, the changes I have experienced have been more than worth it. Yes, my body has improved, but more importantly my self esteem and the strength I have found in myself have grown exponentially. I didn't know I was capable. Thank you Deveren, Lloyd, and the rest of the team for showing me I could do it. On those days I wanted to give up and just quit, knowing you were there to hold me accountable kept me going. These guys have become more like friends or family than "just" trainers. I'm thankful for what you are doing and the environment you have created!

I started training with Deveren to get up for a Tough Mudder. My training was focused and intense. Without Dev and his commitment I know it would have been an Impossible Mudder. I went to Thrive because I needed to but I've stayed because I WANT to. That's the difference Thrive can make.
