Our family just moved back to the area after 4 years of being out of state. I saw all of the great reviews for Top Notch. It is near our new house and my daughter was excited to get on the competitive team. I called last Wednesday evening and they were happy to take down all my info to pass along to the coach to contact me.

The next evening, we were surprised that no one had emailed or called, so we took the short trip down to the gym to check it out and sign her up. The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful and knowledgeable, but when she walked over to the coach, who was not in the middle of a session at that time, the coach didn't even come over to meet us!

That didn't sit right with me. Here we are, about to spend thousands of dollars to be on a competitive gymnastics team and commit to 12 hours of practice per week, and the coach could not take 5 minutes to walk over and even say hey.

But wait, it gets much worse.

The front desk lady said that the coach was busy, but that she would take down my info and the coach would contact us later. Time is of the essence here, since the meets start in December, but...

That was last Thursday, and today is 5 days later and still no call and no email.

I do not want to work with these unprofessional people, especially where I am paying them thousands of dollars a year.

We will find something better around here - shouldn't be too difficult.

I absolutely love Top Notch my daughter started going here for Parents Night Out where we had the pleasure to meet Chad who is wonderful and now she’s been here for summer camp! The whole staff is wonderful and patient I have a lot of questions and they are happy to answer all of them lol. They go on fields trips weekly places my daughter has never been…she excited everyday to go!! I even had to pay for Full Days instead of Half because she wasn’t ready to go lol! I would give this place 10 stars if I could! Thank you all soooo much!!

This is my daughter's first year with TNT and so far it has been a breath of fresh air from her previous gymnastics center. Coach AJ is open and communicative. He answers questions and follows up with any concerns. My daughter has had a great experience with Coach Addy and she is really enjoying her sessions. We are really happy that we switched to TNT.

My daughter has attended Top Notch for many years and we have had a well rounded experience with the gym from summer camp to gymnastics classes to competitive team. My son also attended summer camp and classes for several years. Summer camp (we tried many before finding the gym) was the best my kids attended! Classes were also fun for my kids and progressed them through the skills they needed to move up to competitive teams. Deanna and Deshaun put a lot of time, effort and heart into fostering a thriving team environment through their coaching and relationship building activities for the girls. As a parent, I have appreciated the advancements the gym has made over the years to their website and portal, the timely communications using the Band app, and the recent introduction of the Top Notch app. I highly recommend the gym in all areas whether your needs are related to camp, classes or team!

We have been with Top Notch for little over 2 years. There have been a couple transitions in the coaching staff and ownership. Through times that could have potentially created distractions and attention taken away from training, the coaches remained focused on the well being and the advancement of the athletes. Thank you Coach Deanna and the rest of the coaches for all that you do! I have recently pulled my child from the competition team and the aftercare program. This gym was wonderful at the beginning; clear communication and organized. Over the past year, the owners have parted their duties, leaving parents confused on who to go to for what situation. The communication has been hostile, the head coach has been abrasive with emails demanding money and payments and is noted of leaving complaints on his social Media Pages of children and parents with out Permission. The professionalism is sub par. The facility is great itself, clean and open. It’s the folks who run it that make it less than desirable.

Worst gym we have been to for a meet. Smelled terrible. Not nearly enough seating. The air conditioning didn't work or wasn't running. The upper level area was super sketchy with like 75 people up there standing on a flimsy plywood floor. Disaster waiting to happen. All this and they have the gall to charge $10 per person which is the most we have ever paid for a meet. Not cool. I hope we don't have to come back here....ever.

We just started at TNT and am so impressed with not only the ease of enrolling my daughter but how welcoming the staff was! The facility is great, they have Covid safety protocols in place, and the Coach could not have been sweeter. My very shy daughter warmed up right away and begged to go back the next morning after her first class. I am so excited to be a part of this fantastic place!

So very unprofessional! We have been attending this gym for 5 years and are so disgusted by the behavior of the head coach, DeShaun Holden. My husband drops off my daughter at practice 8 minutes early. There are 8 young gymnasts on the floor and 3 coaches. 2 coaches are sleeping and the other is texting. Nobody is watching the kids! My husband is nervous about leaving our daughter snaps some photos and complains about the lack of supervision. I call the co-owner to complain as well. The head coach of the gym then sends me NOT my husband this text on my personal cell! He said his coaches were on break until 2 when class started. Break should end once children have entered the gym after being dropped off and are now under your supervision. Coaches should also be napping in another room and not on the gym floor.

Next, I found out the coach took our 7 year old daughter off of the floor. Tells her to grab her stuff and sit on the bleachers. Then sends her to the front of the gym. We found her pacing alone at the front of the gym in tears!!! She said she had been there for a long time! You do not do this to a child!

If you prefer to pay full price for classes that end early, have coaches that will send your young children out of the gym before parents arrive, or love to have your children around sleeping/texting/eating coaches then this gym is for you! If you even bother complaining to anyone other than the head coach who is never there (don’t complain to the co-owner or anyone else), you will probably receive disgusting messages or even get yelled at by the HEAD COACH himself! Be mindful that if you do decide to pay for your commitment fees, uniform fees, etc. and the head coach has disrespected you as a loyal customer, then you will not get your money back! Think twice before you make an investment. I would not recommend this gym to ANYONE!

Sweet, patient and skilled instructors. Great value. The seasoned gymnasts are phenomenal. My newbie looooooves gymnastics and we can hardly wait to witness her achievements. Additionally, we love the day camps when county schools are closed and let’s not forget Parents night out every month. My daughter looks forward to those as she packs her slumber bag and tells my husband and I to have fun on our date.

I signed up two boys, 11 and 8 years old for gymnastics camp. I was told there are other boys and that there will be a gymnastics routine along with free time in the gymnasium along with movie and craft. However my boys described it as mostly craft time and very little time on the mats.
My older son said the gym staff was mostly on their phones texting and stuff.
So this is more of an affordable flexible babysitting service and no serious gym skills are taught during camp.

The staff is so kind,my girls look forward to coming every week.We have been at Top Notch 3 years now and the progress my daughters have made is amazing!The self esteem they have is so amazing, they are so proud of every new level they achieve. They have art/craft time, movies, gym time, lunch and pizza & ice cream truck on Fridays! Their prices are very fair and I like the flexibility in their schedule in that your camper can do just a "half" day, morning or afternoon half, and the option to pay daily.

I truly love Top Notch! My daughter is in the pre gym class this fall. She was there during the Spring season and took the summer off. We have had great experiences at Top Notch! I took a Mommy and Me class there with my then-toddler son and he really enjoyed it. We also held his 4th birthday party there and it was a BLAST! My son and all of his friends and family had a great time. The instructors are great working with young children and their birthday party packages are reasonably priced. The only area where I would recommend some improvement would be to better communicate with customers about the roles of Top Notch staff in facilitating birthday parties. Instructors were great in the gym working with the children, but when it came to the party room they were not as helpful with serving food, cleaning up, etc. as they made it sound when I was booking the party (and compared to other birthday party venues). That aside, I would recommend them!
