Just canceled my membership but thought I should share - I had a membership here for about two years, one of my buddies wanted to checkout the gym for him and his family, stopped by and let him check it out for about 15 min. Got a call from the owner the next day on my personal cell where he left an extremely snarky voice message about “sneaking people in to workout”.

Pleased to say my buddy didn’t end up joining and I’m no longer apart either. Employees are really cool though.

Oh man where do I start. I’ve been with this gym for 2 years now and it’s always been a pleasure going to this place to have a relax, state of mind.
One of the new workers, Gilder, has always greeted me going in and tells me to have a good day once I’m done with my workout. It’s always been a pleasure going here and working out on my own schedule.

Not a very great experience. The towel dispensers are empty most of the time, and the spray bottles are hardly functional. The owner is very passive-aggressive, too! You would think that somebody who owns two gyms would keep himself in better shape. It is unfortunate. Would not recommend; there are much better facilities around the area.

Super clean, helpful staff, I would say handicap accessible as myself and another member in a wheelchair workout there. Staff is ALWAYS willing to help and if there’s an issue it’s addressed immediately. I like this gym because there is a VERY diverse group people working out and EVERYONE is always nice and willing to lend help or exercise guidance.

I have been a member of this gym for 3 years. I am there almost every morning as a part of the 5am crew. I appreciate the gym equipment consistently being in good condition as well as the gym is clean. Unlike others gyms that close, you can literally workout anytime you want. This is an excellent gym, clean with really good use of space. The machines are excellent, especially the leg press and ab crunch.
Good offering of free weights, and not too crowded. There's tanning and massage chairs and a sauna also. The energy and vibe is very good. Loved it

I have been happy at workout antime for a while, but that has changed. I went to mention a malfunctioning piece of equipment and one of the staff came up to me and gave me a bunch of grief. Cancelling my membership and recommend considering carefully before you join.

Really great gym but after the staff leaves a lot of people are bringing large groups of people who don’t pay for a membership. This isn’t the staffs fault but figured I would let them know and other members know on here. I go in around 8-9pm and stay until 10pm and the entire time there is a significant amount of people letting in others who don’t have memberships

** update ** So as expected they cancelled my membership for posting an honest situation. The crazy thing is they sent me the cancel form where I did not sign and falsified my signature. apparently they don't know GA law when it comes to falsifying signatures on documents. Extremely Disappointing Experience at Workout Anytime Canton

I am beyond appalled by the discriminatory and unprofessional treatment my wife received at this gym. My wife, a professional bodybuilder, 2018 Arnold Classic champion, and an inspiration to countless women, was unfairly targeted because another member was "bothered" by her taking a phone call. Instead of addressing the issue respectfully or mediating, the owners chose to cancel her membership without cause.

We’ve been loyal members since this location opened, actively supporting and promoting the gym. We even brought in 8x Olympia Champion Lee Haney to your facility. Despite all of this, my wife was disrespected and unfairly treated, seemingly because she is an African American woman and an accomplished athlete.

This incident reeks of discrimination and bias, particularly when the complaining individual doesn’t even embody the fitness standards this gym should strive to promote. It’s a shame that Workout Anytime Canton chooses to alienate its members—especially those who have contributed to its growth—in such a disgraceful way.

Rest assured, this issue will not be ignored. I’ll be addressing it with our attorney and bodybuilding federations, ensuring that this behavior is exposed and condemned. If you’re a person of color or a dedicated fitness professional, think twice before supporting a gym that doesn’t respect its own members.

My wife and I joined this gym before it opened. We have been regular attendees for over 2 years. We have found the owners, Matt and Tina to be kind and respectful people. The gym is always clean, and the equipment is always in good working condition. They strive to make each member's experience enjoyable. That said, if there is a member causing a disruption or hindering the workout of another, they rightfully address that issue with an attitude of respect for all.

I am a college student and this is my third summer using this gym while I am home. My brother and I joined when they first opened and have loved it ever since. The owners and staff are very kind and always make it a point to welcome me in or to stop and chat!

As far as the facility goes, it is always very clean and I have noticed staff members going above and beyond to make sure the floors are vacuumed, the trash bins are attended to, and everything is wiped down. The equipment itself is great and I love that I never find myself having to wait on a treadmill, since that is typically what I start my workout with!

Overall, I have had a really great experience using this gym and plan on staying a member!

I had been a member from day one through active and fit direct. To be fair, prior to the incident I had no complaints. Matt and an employee rudely approached me to put me out as if I had been sneaking in the gym and there was no prior rapport over my time there. There was a much more diplomatic way of ironing out any confusion, even if I had to just pay for or get a guest pass for the day. I have never been treated this way in a gym.

I've worked out at at this location for 2 years now - since the day they opened. The owners are people of integrity and I truly enjoy interacting with them. This gym stays so clean and they are often one step ahead of any equipment issues so as to resolve them quickly. Are there members who could use a lesson or two in gym etiquette? Absolutely! But you will find that in every single gym across America.

In terms of equipment, they have done the best they can with the space. I'm a competitive bodybuilder and came from a gym that would be considered a bodybuilder's heaven. BUT, with that over-equipped gym came a massive crowd of rude and uncaring staff and members. No thanks! So, I make use of every piece of equipment that Workout Anytime offers and I don't miss the additional equipment from my old gym.

Lastly, I have used the amazing benefit of having access to gyms around the country. I always am able to find a gym in my travel destinations throughout the USA and never have to miss a workout when traveling. I'm thrilled to call this gym my playground and always enjoy my workouts.

Canton WOA location lacks basic warm-up equipment such as BOSU, Swiss or balance balls which are essential for providing resistance exercises which do not put stress on knee, shoulder, elbow or any previously injured joints..
Both BOSU and balance balls also help stroke victims and others suffering from balance problems recover their inner ear function and limb coordination which helps prevent debilitating falls.
While the facility has most basic MATRIX machines, the owners have chosen not to buy the MATRIX Hip Thrust Glute Trainer or the MATRIX Lateral/Anterior Deltoid Trainer though there is room on the floor for both machines.
The most glaring omission on the Canton WOA floor is the REACT machine which offers the best results of any machine in the world for legs and core development with minimal joint impact.
The better-equipped WOA locations feature the REACT as well as the other equipment found absent at Canton WOA.
The cleanliness of the Men's locker room at night ( after 6 p.m. ) has been diminished by paper and empty water bottles being strewn on the floor.
Evidently, there is no MATRIX machine made to housebreak some WOA members.

i would like to preface by saying that i hope my experience at the canton workout anytime is not a common one. the gym owners are aggressive and rude, and frankly do not know how to conduct themselves in handling a situation. as small business owners ourselves, my husband and i would never dream of treating longterm costumers the way i was treated. i am appalled; do better.

update as of feb 2024: it has been almost eight months since my initial review, my membership at other locations has been restricted since the incident. i have not been able to use all the services that i have paid for for well over a year at this point, due to the situation that sparked my review. not to mention, that my husband, who was not in the gym at the time of the incident, also has a restricted membership.

tl;dr: going on nine months after a situation occurred my and my husband’s membership is still restricted and we cannot access services we have been paying for.

I can agree with Serena. I did not have a pleasant experience. Whether it was the fact that they continue trying to charge you after you cancelled your membership or the fact that the OWNER showers naked during regular hours infront of other guests. Completely unethical for an owner to do that and made me feel uncomfortable when he tried to have a conversation with me at the same time. Hopefully other people notice that there’s a better one off exit 14. Would not bring my business to this location.

I love everything about this gym…except recently their new personal trainer and group of about 6 friends go around the gym being so loud that half of us keep looking up to see whose loud enough to be heard over all the music when wearing headphones. I understand having fun, but if you are being so obnoxiously loud that you know you’re bothering multiple people within the gym you would calm down. It seemed as though they simply would get louder. I know that working for the gym may have privileges but other people here pay a membership as well and I would hope that would be valued.

She immediately starts acting like I'm arguing with her, she hangs up on me twice, then told me to hush and i don't listen. Signed up and on the same day canceled because a piece of equipment malfunctioned and hit me in the back. The owners wife yelled at me for the situation when it’s the gyms fault for not maintaining the cable pull down. The subordinate staff was nice, but the owner and his wife were abrasive, rude and called me a liar without reviewing the camera aimed at my machine. I’d sue, but the way they fiercely defended the gym, I don’t think they have the money. I’d like this matter to be reviewed by corporate. This store is 5 months old and I was told that “no one’s ever been hurt” by the owner. There’s a first time for everything.

The couple that runs this gym is so amazing. I always feel comfortable asking them questions, and they are always so kind and friendly in return. Place is clean which should be as new as it is. However the issue I have is there is no contract. I went to cancel 11 days before the end of the month. They are still going to charge me for the next month even though I will not be able to utilize the gym. You have to give 30 a thirty day notice. Which is ridiculous when it is a month to month gym.
