They don't clean the facilities on a regular. Maintenance isn't very good. YOU 24 hr workout anytime should be closed down for not staying on top of their Frenchie owners!

Not sure why I feel like a prisoner by joining the club. Not long after I signed up life changes come about and my family and I have moved to a different state. I have been trying to cancel my membership for 1-1/2 months. I have provided all info needed for the cancellation and called to put a stop payment on my card because someone in management can’t do their job. My wife is still getting messages every other day to please call them about my payment. I have tried calling the corporate office and have not had anyone return my call yet. I did see that corporate can not help with the situation. It’s my local club management that I need to speak with. Everything above I have stated was a conversation with the manager at the club where I signed up. Is it just me or is anyone else having the same problem.

UPDATE: I hate to be this person however however after leaving a review we went back to the facility and spoke with supervisor. He stated that the owner was unable to provide us a refund due to only having a banking information on file not a card on file…which I then informed him I had received a partial refund of $87.00. I am still missing the other $102.00. He wasn’t sure how to respond but said he would let the owner know and that we would get a call that night. It has been almost two months with no call and no refund.

For almost a year after cancelling my membership they continued to take money out of my account. For months we have gone back and fourth with the owner who stated he could refund a percentage, he can’t do anything due to corporate having to approve the request, or that the full refund would be back in our account within 5 days. Which it was not! We are still actively trying to resolve this issue with the location of Lancaster SC. Our only next step is to go the magistrate office.

Extremely Disappointing Experience at Workout Anytime Canton

I am beyond appalled by the discriminatory and unprofessional treatment my wife received at this gym. My wife, a professional bodybuilder, 2018 Arnold Classic champion, and an inspiration to countless women, was unfairly targeted because another member was "bothered" by her taking a phone call. Instead of addressing the issue respectfully or mediating, the owners chose to cancel her membership without cause.

We’ve been loyal members since this location opened, actively supporting and promoting the gym. We even brought in 8x Olympia Champion Lee Haney to your facility. Despite all of this, my wife was disrespected and unfairly treated, seemingly because she is an African American woman and an accomplished athlete.

This incident reeks of discrimination and bias, particularly when the complaining individual doesn’t even embody the fitness standards this gym should strive to promote. It’s a shame that Workout Anytime Canton chooses to alienate its members—especially those who have contributed to its growth—in such a disgraceful way.

Rest assured, this issue will not be ignored. I’ll be addressing it with our attorney and bodybuilding federations, ensuring that this behavior is exposed and condemned. If you’re a person of color or a dedicated fitness professional, think twice before supporting a gym that doesn’t respect its own members.

Their Northshore Chattanooga location will DO NOTHING if you are harassed! Their maintenance is also pitiful and the entire system of switching home gyms when you move is broken.

Harassment: Another member of the gym I literally never speak too (this in and of itself might have bugged him) stepped in front of me and told me "I could beat your ass". Later that same day he followed me into the bathroom and started saying stuff at me while I was peeing! When I reported this at first they were supportive and they agreed everything that could be confirmed with cameras was, and nothing the other person said could be verified, but they refused to do anything! Over the course of this "investigation" I spoke to three different people and all three said different things/kept moving the goal post. It's ridiculous and unacceptable they do not take harassment seriously.

Maintenance: Multiple basic things have been broken for months, including the water fountain and benches (they're missing screws so sometimes move out from under you when you sit on them). Earlier the chest fly, leg press, and only urinal were all broken for multiple months too. There are literally holes in the ceiling that leak so they place buckets on the weight floor to catch it. It's been like this for at least three years.

Changing Location: When I first moved to TN I was told I would have to pay +$100 in one time sign up fees so I shouldn't bother changing home gyms. I tried again later and was told no sign up fees but they couldn't honor my rate at my old gym and would have to charge me more per month. Finally near the end of my time here I was told that wasn't correct either; they're either lying or have no idea/no training to handle transferring of memberships.

I've been to many good locations but any franchise that allows locations with harassment and literal holes in the system, as well as a horrible system to switch home gyms, is not a good system.

Edit: This company cares more about money than people and accountability; their response was the most dismissive I've ever read. I was harassed at one of their locations, a location with literal holes in the ceiling, and they never listened to my side of the story just trusting an owner with a spotty track record. They could not care less as long as the franchising checks keep coming in.

SECOND REQUEST TO STOP DEDUCTING FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT AT THE BLAIRSVILLE, GA LOCATION. My membership ended in September. You are still deducting $14.99 a month from my bank account. Once on September 26 and once on October 28. It is clear you do not read your emails so check your Google reviews. I expect a two month refund mailed to 101 S. Main Street, Ste 8 Box 1119, Hiawassee, GA 30546. Do not deduct any more money from my bank account.

A year after moving away this gym (Gaffney Location) charged my card a random $260 during hurricane helene. What an embarrassing local business, such a disgrace to the American ideals of community and faith. No wonder their Gaffney location is rated worse than planet fitness while being more expensive.

Workout Anytime will scam you. My dad passed in February of 2024. We canceled the accounts on his card and after paying the extra month to cancel, they continued charging the card through July of 2024. You can't even find phone numbers on their email with how to accomplish cancelation. Seems to me that there should be some laws that eliminate the possibility of a company like this from being able to scam people. Especially those who have passed. Contacting my Representative about the new Workout Anytime Law today.

Whatever you do don't give any of their locations your banking information. I canceled my membership and they continued to draft from my bank account for several months to the point that I closed the account. Then sent me a 200 dollar collection notice after talking to someone named Sofia at the corporate office who told me she was the ceo and owner I now can't get in contact with anyone very unprofessional

If I could leave less than 1 Star....I certainly would. My membership was cancelled over 3 years ago, and now I have a remark on my credit report. I have spoken with the owner of the Tyrone location on multiple occasions. I have left now....my 3rd VM to your corporate office. This is obviously an ongoing issue as I have read previous reviews.

Be wise of who you decide to franchise your so called corporate name to. This is absolutely ridiculous. You have not heard the last from me. Will be paying a visit to the location tomorrow.

Workout Anytime goes above and beyond for their members. I enjoy working out in the gym with a variety of equipment to choose from. I always feel like I am right at home when I walk in the door and I am instantly greeted with a smile. The gyms are 24/7 which gives us no excuse anymore. I love Workout Anytime. I travel for work and have access to all over their locations (160+ locations). Each location is very clean, well maintained, has a ton of equipment options plus the employees are very friendly. Each location I have visited, I have felt very welcomed by their staff. The members also are amazing! They have all been super encouraging to workout with! 5 stars! If you want a great gym that’s 24 hours, this is the brand to look for.

I'm so glad I looked for a corporate account, as I have had the same difficulty with canceling in Camden, SC. I am a first responder and I've been on assignments for the past 4 months. Currently in Ithaca,
NY I called spoke to owner advised him I was charged and was not in the state he advised me I needed to send a cancellation form. He sent the form to my email and charged me twice after I sent cancelation twice. I was charged in June two times. Very very rude. I am a respiratory therapist helping with Covid and to be treated that way in my local town is a disgrace. The gyms were closed by the governor. I have written several reviews and would never go back. The manager I spoke to was rude as well. I did a dispute with my bank and the refund has yet to be issued. Very disappointed.

HORRIBLE....HORRIBLE......HORRIBLE! I wish I could give negative stars so one star in order to warn others about the most UNPROFESSIONAL and UNDESERVING Gof any business from anyone. I was Uber excited to begin my personal training regiment again and came across this gym. After consultation, contract was signed. It was and has been downhill from there. First, I text the trainer the day before my first session and did not receive a response. Unbeknownst to me, I walk in and was approached by someone else. I was told in a matter of fact manner that he quit and it wasn’t his first time. Yes, I was upset because this is not the guy I was suppose to meet but it does explain the lack of response. During this time I’m under doctor’s care as well and because of my injuries from a car accident, I could no longer continue the training sessions. I in turn emailed the company and received a response from Candace. She responded and states and I quote, “Sorry to hear that Latonya. Hopefully your doctor will release you soon. Once we receive your doctors note, your account will be updated.” This is the last I heard from her. My account is still being charges $320 dollars and I have not trained since February. Also, the card that was authorized is not the card being charged. I have a membership as well. This morning 04/24/19 was charged again. I personally went over to the gym and no one was there to assist and from my understanding, Candace is never in the office. The trainer there happens to be my original trainer’s replacement......really nice guy. He remembers me and the conversation about me having to cancel as well. I brought the letter in case it had gotten “lost”. He said he didn’t need because it is in the system. He attempted to contact Candace. I call a few more times afterwards but continued to get the voicemail and still have not heard from Candace. I contacted ABC Financial as well as my bank. I will do everything in my power to resolve the issue and warn others. I WILL ADDRESS THIS EVERYDAY UNTIL IT IS FIXED. This is UNACCEPTABLE. DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM (SMYRNA)!!!

Piece of TRASH customer service. I had an account closed with them in June 2018 because I moved and where I was moving no locations were available. They wait a year later and report to my credit saying account was cancelled because of non payment! WTH so unprofessional and disorganized. This organization billing department is trash and so are the people who work for them! No customer service skills at all!
