You can not ask someone to pay for dues in 2026 when their membership ends as stated December 18th 2025.”

Workout anytime is trying make me pay a yearly service fee for a membership in 2026 when my membership ends December 18 of this year 2025. You can’t ask people to pay an annual fee for the next year when their membership ends before that year.
When trying to resolve with management no reply / response has been given and the corporate people at ABC fitness refer me to talk with the managers. When trying to talk to the management team I get no response.

Overall I would not recommend this gym to a family or friends because of this experience.

Feeling very disappointed as I’m writing this review. This has been my home gym for 10 years and I have nothing positive to say after the new owners took over. This place is always trashed, bathrooms are never clean, spray bottles everywhere, towels all over the floor. And to add to this on Thursday Nov.20th I went in as my regular day at 5am. Walked into the girls locker room and I heard a really weird noise coming from the shower I ran out and got one of the guys who was working out to go in there with me as I was 100% sure there was someone in the girls restroom. The guy walks in with me and asked if anyone was there no one answered. Then he walked in there with me so I could grab my belongings and he asked again if anyone was in there. A lady answered “I am in here” lights were off , curtain was closed and bench was blocking the entrance. She never showed her face but I do not feel save going back to this place. This hasn’t been the first place and around this time a year a lot of homeless people go in there I don’t know how but they do. I have canceled my membership.

WorkoutAnytime is an exceptional low cost alterative to the "CLUB" workout. The employee are always very friendly. The workout people are friendly and trust worthy as I have left my padded seat a couple of times only to find it right wear I left it or the front desk. I go workout at my own timeframe. Its clean and has great circuit training or free weights. I like the occasional use of the sauna and special message bed.

I have been going to Workout 24/7 Marietta South for the past year, and have been getting personal training sessions here for the past 8 months as well. There is more than enough equipment variety, and I like that I can workout at any time i want to. The trainers here are great, and I have noticed really good gains while working with them and will hit my fitness goals a few months ahead of planned due to their guidance.

As noted in other reviews, there is a large turnover with staff but after going here a year I can 100% say its due to the poor quality of workers avaialble. Some of them cant even do simple tasks(as mentioned in previous reviews). Ownership has made great strides in attempting to fix this problem, but they obviously cant do everything, For what I am paying for though, I think the environment and services provided are great. I think its clear some reviewers want a super high end club where you have to spend $200 a month, but that is a different type of gym. For the no nonsense gym goer looking to hit the weights efficiently, this is a great and affordable option.

The best parts about this gym are that it's cheap, the free weights go up decently high for beginners, and it's 24 hours. Other than that, I can't really find much else. About half the times I've been, they've been out of either spray bottles or rags. The machines always feel weird and grindy. There's no room for any sort of plyometrics despite having a soft box. The mens restroom always smells god awful. (The photo is old but looked like that for about 4 months.)

When I first signed up at this location, they said they would contact my former anytime workout location so that "they don't think we're stealing their customer."
They did not do that and instead double charged me for 6 months, costing me about $140. Safe to say, I won't be returning.

I can't say I was impressed. I signed up at the Whitlock location, but powers ferry is closer, plus I was hoping to use the red light machine, since no other location has it. However, when you walk in, the main floor doesn't smell that great. I also have an LA fitness membership and they keep it tidy and clean. This location had bathrooms that smelled like they haven't been cleaned in days, and they only have a single shower. It's not the end of the world but, some machines are broken. Like besides prime location, what other saving grace is there? I'm not trying to be Insulting but they really need to put more care into this location, especially considering how much smaller they are compared to LAF. Don't ask me what you can do, just put more pride into your business and work to give customers a better experience. Most of us aren't asking for much.

I was VERY hesitant to come to this location after reading the negative reviews about the cleanliness of this location. I almost talked myself out of it with my husband, but I decided to give them a try to see what MY experience would be like. To my surprise, EVERYTHING was clean, neat, and tidy. Although the ladies room had a little stale smell to it, it was very clean! Nothing a Glade plug-in can’t fix. The cleaning towels were folded neatly by the front door and ready for use. The sauna was clean and I’m glad I had an overall good experience. My home gym is in a different county, but some of their amenities are out of service. I was greeted by Marie, a new employee. She was very attentive, friendly, transparent, listened and answered my questions to the best of her abilities. I talked to her about the reviews and how cleanliness is very important to her as well. Honestly, I only want to go when I know Marie is going to be there because I know I will have a pleasant experience and everything will be CLEAN! Based on the reviews, it appears this location is taking the feedback seriously and they’re headed in the right direction to turn things around for the better. I’m honestly so tired of coming in for a workout and seeing this gym trashed. Here *right now* on a Monday morning and there has clearly not been anyone here all weekend. The floor is trashed, old spray bottles and sweat towels everywhere. Weight plates and various equipment all over the place. The water fountain has not been cleaned in months and that’s not even getting into the women’s bathroom. I have brought things up to desk workers when there actually is someone here but Nothing has been done. Come on WO ANYTIME Marietta South, this locations needs to do better, it’s honestly GROSS.

I think my stars are in the negatives now. Here on a Tuesday morning and once again there clearly has not been any staff here since last week. All paper towels except the bathrooms are empty. No more sweat/cleaning cloths available. Garbage cans all overflowing.

And to top it off the door lock was not on when I was here at 12 noon for a lunch workout yesterday. A gym user ((not employee of course)) told me that the door is never locked during week day work hours. THIS IS A PROBLEM. then I came in this morning at 6:45 and it was also not locked. No card needed to get in.

PLEASE staff your desk at appropriate hours and get the door working correctly!

UPDATE September 2023: After some improvement last month, it's gotten worse again. 80% as bad as I describe below.

The worst-smelling bathrooms I've experienced in my life - not just in gyms, but anywhere. Hot, stale urine, plus a strong undercurrent of BO. It's like they had a dozen horses relieve themselves on the floor, then let it marinate for months. NYC subway stations in July are pleasant compared to this.

Small gym with everything you need. Don't pay mind to the handful of negative reviews talking about "homeless people" and saying that the location is "dangerous". (to me it sounds like competitors writing bad reviews, or racist people that can't stand being in a neighborhood with many different people of color 🥴). This place is not dangerous in the slightest, and I haven't seen any homeless people lurking or anything like that. You need a keycard to access the gym at night, and the people that train here mind their own business.

The price is a bit steep for what you get ($40 a month), but it's better than dealing with the LA Fitness business model, or other gyms in the area that dont have half the equipment this one has.

It gets a bit crowded around 5-7pm but it's not too bad. The staff is friendly and helpful, although you can tell they're understaffed. There's always clean towels and spray bottles.

Plenty of cardio machines, and all the weight machines you need, as well as free weights. dumbbells, kettlebells, and barbells (straight and ez barbells). Although lacking a good straight pull up bar with resistance bands.

Overall a decent gym, one of the best in the area.

This gym is alright, I’ve gone through about 8 trainers within the year of my training membership( bad pay-$7 a session is highway robbery especially when each 30 min session is being charged to me $45). I really only come to this location a few times a month but the Whitlock location is much nicer.

This place is a great alternative to Crunch Fitness. However, I believe I WAY overpaid for a basic month-to-month membership - on 10/12/2022 I visited in person with a free 1-day trial pass and signed up for a membership, paying $80.99, then of course 45 days later I was charged the standard annual fee of $39.00. However as of 2/9/2023 on the website it says it is supposed to be $35.99 due today for a basic month-to-month. Long story short visit first in person and then sign up online.
My response to the owner below: This is 100% the correct location (next to Rio in the same plaza as Microcenter). I have been going to this location for the past 3 months for my workouts.

I got a super bad vibe from this place it started in the parking lot. When I walked in the lady was super friendly but the first thing I noticed was the place was really small. I informed her I had a day pass but she was helping others and instructed ne to wait so she could give me a tour which was super weird since you can see the entire gym from the entry. I honestly just wanted to workout and check the gym out myself I didn't care for a tour. Second thing I noticed was the treadmills are right there by the entrance. I'm super insecure about my butt and breast jiggling while I run and now every single person who comes in will see me and thats too distracting from my focus on working out. I didn't even bother with the free day pass I just left

Chastity Nichole Campbell , the trainer and instructor at this facility is the most helpful and knowledgeable staff person in a gym that anyone can ever hope for.
When not assisting others , she is constantly cleaning, keeping this gym spotless, and safe for all patrons.
In addition to assisting others with knowledge and use of the equipment, this instructor has been very helpful in providing me & others with healthy eating ideas.

This gym was wonderful when it was village fitness. After it was bought out by Workout Anytime, the quality went down significantly!!

It’s disgusting!! They never clean and there’s rarely someone working front desk. It seems like the staff has a high turnover rate as the front desk person is around for maybe 2 weeks then is gone.

I told the owner that the bathrooms were dirty and her response was “well what exactly needs to the cleaned?” That tells me that you don’t even go in to check the bathrooms. Unacceptable. Especially in these covid times

The paper towels are usually out of stock and the cloth towels get washed once a week if that. There is constantly equipment all over the place.

They don’t even play music so if I forget to bring headphones, it’s dead quiet! All you hear is hard breathing.

First off, I can vouch for Andre Fitness. He is not a liar! This organization is (at least this particular gym). Ever since this gym was bought out, it has not been the same since. They don't return phone calls or emails. The whole staff is sketchy (except for the lady who works in the front, I don't know her name but she is always cleaning and helping people out). They will still charge you "after you have cancelled your contract. They just want your money . They even move equipment around for no good reason. All they literally do is walk around the gym and ask you if you want to sign up for an expensive personal training program. They only care about revenue. Watch them call me a "liar" too after this post.

I enjoyed this gym when it was on Roswell Road. Actually, that location was why I signed up, and paid for an entire year up front due to it being less than a mile from me. The “new” location off powers ferry is terrible. Disorganized, mismatched, and didn’t have the hydro massage bed (the entire reason I paid for the premium membership). Very disappointed in ownership and how they misleadingly do business. If someone signs up for a year, they should be able to be partially reimbursed if you relocate 6 miles away with lesser equipment…

Just discovered this new location when looking at Google maps. It's located conveniently between my office in Atlanta and house in Marietta. I was excited to give it a try and I didn't really find it to be a great gym experience, sadly. For starters, I noticed some dumbells missing and looked all over and didn't see them being used, etc (seemed to be a vibe of misding things). The gym appears to be put together haphazardly- and the barbell chest press station was wobbly as an example. The men's locker room is a huge square with funky lockers that are smaller than average, and just 1 shower- weird! Seems to be still being put together, but not the cohesive and clean experience like the many other locations I have gone to. I hope they upgrade and make adjustments, because it really is in a great area.

The Workout Anywhere Roswell Road location shut down and now will not let my mom out of her contract citing they “moved.” The location they claim to have moved to (Powers Ferry) is not new. Her location closed. She chose her location because it was less than a mile from her home. In fact, when she signed up, they gave her the option to sign up to use the Roswell Road location only or to also use their other locations. She specifically chose to use just the Roswell Rd location. Do the right thing, operate with integrity, and let her out of her contract.

I joined this gym as a member several years ago. Ms Donna signed me up and was so pleasant and helpful. I felt safe to workout during the pandemic because the facility was always clean and they always provided sanitizing wipes for all the members. The owners really went above and beyond to take care of the members during the pandemic. The members also went above and beyond to clean their equipment even more than they already were. The equipment is great. I love the free weight area the most. I have never had anything negative to say about this gym, the management, or the owners. It has been a complete pleasure for all the years I have been working out there. I am very excited about the move to the new location on Powers Ferry! It’s almost in my backyard now! They are running some kind criminal enterprise! *Original review** I am currently in a nightmare experience with this business. My 17 year old son and I were evacuated to Marietta after Hurricane Ida damaged our home in Louisiana. My son wanted to work out. He knows my rules, I will sign paperwork, give rides, etc., but he has to pay for his gym memberships, etc. We found this gym close to my aunt's house, and I went with him to sign up. He paid cash for his membership, but they asked for a card in case he caused any damage at the gym. Almost two full months later, my credit card was charged for a full membership. When I got on the phone with the manager, Tim, he refused to refund my money. He was rude, told me I had authorized the charge, but couldn't send me the paperwork he claims I signed. Very unprofessional, and frankly, I suspect someone in the gym is doing something illegal. Do not pay cash for your workouts and monitor your credit card or bank statements carefully if you decide to use this gym!

All franchises are not created equal! I visited this location multiple times during a short term stay for my job with a family member. And this was my first experience with discrimination in my entire life. Initially things appear to be just fine however if there are any complaints or issue the manner in which they deal with the visiting members is unacceptable. The management, professionalism and accountability at this location is beyond disappointing and disgusting. The women’s restroom is also poorly kept (unsanitary and tissue holder has been broken for weeks).

I hardly ever give bad reviews but I visited Workout Anytime East Lake location and I swear this guy Joe set me back 100 years. He was so rude and unprofessional. This guy speaks to women like we are beneath him. I’m not sure why he was left in charge because he acts as though he is the master of the slave ship. If you are black, you better be ready to get one hundred and one questions and stare downs about why you are at this location. I overheard him speaking to some other female like it was 1789. The gym was starting to become run down. Once Joe became manager the gym has never looked better! Joe and his staff are extremely friendly, courteous and helpful.Joe is a great guy and he’s always there to answer a question and take care of any situation. I renewed my membership for another 3 years. The facility is always clean and well maintained. Staff is supportive and very friendly. They make a point to learn your name and conversate with you. There is a personal trainer, Jo, at this location. Four weeks into our sessions and I have lost over 10 pounds. He is very professional, motivating, and even corrects the “You-Tube-Experts” with sound advice and knowledge. I highly recommend both gym and training sessions with Jo.

This place is nice. Like the convince of it being 24 hours. It’s super clean. And the young lady at the front desk is so darn nice. I can tell the owner takes great care of their employees and the gym.

The only complaint I have is they don’t have a deadlift platform or a power squat rack.They do have a smith machine and a hoist rack, which do nothing for me. This may just be me being a picky powerlifter but I’m not a fan because it’s really hard to get the bar set to the correct height, as the J-hooks are fixed.

Overall this place allows you to get in a decent work out with the basics.

I talked to Mike on the phone and asked about regular personal training sessions, and specifically asked if they had a trainer on staff at this location, I was told yes. Signed up for a membership. Right after signing up I asked for the personal trainer's info to set up the first session. I was informed that they were not on staff at this location and that I would have to drive to Kennesaw. I signed up here because it's across the street from where I live, very convenient, and was told they had a personal trainer on staff at this location. I was blatantly lied to and signed up under false pretenses.

I just renewed my membership at the location in Decatur (3 months paid in full basic) which allows me access to all workout anytime locations. I arrived at this location, scanned in, and had my workout interrupted by the staff member telling me that my check in was denied. I sat down with him and asked why, and he told me that my payment was still processing on Decatur’s end and that my membership should be active by the next time I come in. He called Decatur to verify that I was indeed a member, to which they verified and told him to “let me work out”. He then called his manager, repeated what I told him to her: that I had shown proof of my purchase, and that Decatur verified my membership and his manager still opted to turn me away and deny me from working out at their location AS AN ACTIVE MEMBER. Very unprofessional. I will not be giving this location any of my money.

Edit: I just went through the same verification process with the location on Whitlock and they let me workout! If you are stuck between the two locations, choose Whitlock they are much friendlier and more professional.

Edit #2 in response to the owner: Apparently it isn’t an “ongoing issue” at any location, as the location at Whitlock allowed me to workout! If you’d like you can verify with them! I will not be returning to you guys and I urge others to do the same.

What a horrible experience I just had with the general manager named Shecky Benham, the level of disrespect this man displayed is on another level. During the pandemic and on a old card of mine they continued to charge my account with multiple charges even after my card was cancelled. I called in expecting to speak with the sweet young lady who has helped me in the past, but instead I spoke to Shecky who tried to compare my gym membership to the engine in my car going out, which was the craziest analogy I have ever heard. I had my girlfriend and 6 of my boys cancel their membership. And each one of them was glad to do it. Honestly the best part about the gym is the 24hr access. Other than that you get what you pay for. Unfortunately, $20 bucks a months doesn't come with great customer service. Believe me its not the money why im posting this, its strictly the attitude of the manager. During the pandemic no one should be getting charged multiple times for gym memberships, because for a while there we weren't allowed to go to gyms.

Walked into the gym to find out membership was due. I would ask who actually keeps track of that. I made it clear I had just lost my wallet, and the owners response was 'can you go home and get something else to pay with'. So, I have been a customer for 4 years and intended on renewing. So instead of doing the kind thing and letting me have my workout as a guest or offering a solution, she lost a customer entirely.

The gym is usually clean and the staff (when they are available) are friendly. The key cards do have issues from time to time where they will just stop working or not work at all initially when you sign up. Their customer problem resolution processes could be improved greatly... especially in the account / billing department.
The Men's locker room reminds me of a truck stop in a sketchy part of town. Can definitely concur that they have a massive card sharing issue in the later hours of the evening.
My last visit had a group of 6 people roll in on one card to not work out apparently but to monopolize the shower for an hour and head out. It was kinda unreal. Had one gentleman with a huge bag of rank clothes on his back ask if "members" could use the laundry facilities on site. The language barrier prevented the clear understanding that those were for the staff. All in all, if you want to work out it's a decent place, but for sure on lower end. The Motel 6 of gym's in Marietta.
From time to time I've found some of the machines' bolting to the floor are loose which makes the machine feel incredibly unsafe. Careful on those lower back machines near the windows.

I was on vacation to Atlanta so I hit up a few local gyms. I was going to LA Fitness which was so crowded... I regret ever going there and for 15 a day it was a rip off!

I found this little gem of a gym which totally under estimated bc of the size but it has everything a full gym has in terms of equipment and weight just compact. It’s open 24 hours and a guest pass will run you35 for the week, they don’t do daily rates which was fine... anything is better than LA Fitness. Staff hours are 8 to 8 to sign up if you wanna work out but it’s open 24 hours !!! Will come back if ever in the area.

No stars; the only reason they even get ONE is so I can comment...the rudeness of the woman who works the front desk is ridiculous. She’s in-personable and unprofessional. She was very rude to one of my guests and insisted that they sign up for membership instead of just providing the one day or even a one week pass for workout. She spoke very condescendingly while saying that they only do passes via online. She was very pushy for the membership signup. Other places provide passes on the spot, so this was a little weird. Yes great facility but customer service? Not so much. Good thing they’re 24 hours so some of us don’t have to deal with people like her.

Front desk woman is a major pain to deal with. I was passing by headed home and wanted to ask if they offered any trial membership since it’s close to where I live. I’ve never been to a gym that doesn’t gladly hand out trial memberships. She basically tells me there is no free trial and asks why I would even want one. When I left rather quickly and obviously not amused she did come out to my car to apologize and offered me a 7-day trial. I was gonna let it go but I just checked and online I can get a 14-day so I had to review. Clean place but i’m gonna have to find a better atmosphere.

Need to be more specific on policies and more congruent between the two locations. Moved back home and continued to get charged for the past year and was being forced to go back to GA in order to cancel in person. When finally got resolved, the lady I talked to was very rude and all she could say was policy this and policy that. Gym is super nice, but beware if you ever want to leave. Very dissatisfied with this company.

I joined here in March of 2018 with a one year contract. Almost a year later I had my third child and no longer had the time to utilize my membership so after my contract was up, I requested the information to cancel. It was sent to me, I followed the instructions to cancel online, and understood that my card on file would be charged $39. I did this on March 17th. My dues for the last year have always come out between the 14th and 17th of each month so when I saw a charge on April 16th I assumed that was the final charge noted in the pop up when I canceled. I was then charged $39 again on April 28th and again today so I did what anyone would and went into the gym to question it. Donna called corporate and had me explain the situation to them. Their records showed that I had logged in for the first time ever on March 17th, but since I no longer have the email showing the cancellation corporate said that it up to the club and asked to speak with Donna again. She told the representative from corporate that she didn’t have the authority to make that decision and then two seconds later informed me that she couldn’t do anything since I didn’t have the email.
First, it was obvious that the one and only time I logged on was immediately after requesting cancellation information. Second, I haven’t even utilized this gym since November of last year. I asked for the $78 that had been charged extra to be refunded to me and was told no. Ten minutes later I got a voicemail that if I canceled today I would not be charged further. This is unacceptable. I know I will not be charged further because I am not authorizing these charges nor have I since March 17th when I canceled my membership. If your system does not record something the way it should, that is not your customers fault. Does keeping my $78 really benefit your gym in any way?
It should also be noted from a customer service standpoint that shortly after greeting me Donna answered her personal phone to tell someone she would call them back and was then on her personal phone again while I was the one talking to corporate. If I do miraculously find the time to go to a gym again, it definitely will not be here and I urge others to do the same.
I am giving 2 stars instead of one in the spirit of being fully honest that this gym is kept clean and well equipped.

This gym is great! Out of all the Workout Anytime facilities in the metro Atlanta Area, the Eastlake location is definitely the best in town!
The gym layout is very organized with plenty of machines and free weights. It’s open 24/7 with key card access when staff is not present. I’ve never seen this gym too crowded at all. I highly recommend this location!

I joined Workout Anytime two years and have been most pleased. I tried Workout Anytime as my apartment's gym was being renovated I didn't know what I was missing until I joined Workout Anytime.

The positive staff, well-maintained facility, and offerings of machines, weights, and equipment have been exactly what I wanted and needed in a fitness centers.

There is a tangible intentionality to being part of a facility that has as its only goal - wellness and betterment. The inherent motivation and energy that are part of walking in the door work for me.

The monthly fee is a bargain especially given the 24/7 availability. I highly recommend this facility

I went to visit the location with my bf because we were looking for a gym to join. Because I am more experienced, I had him do some of the things I do, but he did some of his own things as well because he could not do some of the things I do. After the workout, I was accused of training him in the gym and was told I could not train. I was also told a member told I was doing this. Both the staff ( an older lady) and suppose member accused me of this and the staff even said something about it when I left. I didn’t feel welcomed at all by staff or other members. I travel the country for work and visit a lot of gyms and have never experienced and felt this before. I was very offended and will never attend this gym again.

They tell you theres no contract but yet you will be called and harassed not by them, but by a collections company if you stop paying. They told me there was no contract and can just stop my membership at anytime. Guess that's not true. Not a fun gym by any means, lady at the front desk is a safety hazard to others. Likes to vacuum around you when you are using the equipment! Sometimes when I do squat I get light headed and she has wraped the cord of the vacuum cleaner around the machine I am using. If I would have tried to step out of the machine quickly it would have been a big problem.
When I tried to walk away to let her finish, she yelled at me from a distance to re-rack my weights! It's an uncomfortable place to workout. The equipment is the only thing that's good about that gym. To bad its in there.

Clean and basic gym with just the essentials in a compact strip mall environment. I've never been there with more than 10 people. Plenty of free weights and good quality cardio and selectorized equipment. No one here is intimidating so you can work out with confidence even if you haven't been on your path long.
