Workout Anytime Review – 3 Stars

I’ve been a member for a while, and there’s a lot I like about this gym. It’s smaller than the big chain gyms, which I actually prefer. Even with the smaller space, there’s plenty of equipment and I’ve never had an issue with anything being broken or worn down. It’s open 24 hours, which is a huge benefit, and it’s rarely crowded. I’m happy to be a member.

That said, there are a few basics that really need attention. Almost every time I’m there, I see used wipes left on the floor or beside the machines. It doesn’t seem to get picked up, even when staff is walking around. The men’s bathroom is often missing things like toilet paper and hand soap, and they never have hand towels. These are simple things that make a big difference in the overall experience.

If they tightened up on general cleanliness and kept the bathroom stocked, this place would easily be a five star gym.

The equipment works and the location is clean. They have great options for affordable memberships. I've been enjoying it. Fewer frills than my old gym but it's also much less crowded and has everything I need right now.

Terrible gym too many people not enough equipment not clean nobody cleans the equipment or puts it back in the correct place smells funny over crowded all day long locker rooms are small and dirty no room to change or put your things not alot of free weights mostly cardio equipment hydro massage table stinks smells like cabbage tanning beds burn you every time you use them bad bulbs I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM GO TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER GYM THIS ONE IS FULL & DIRTY!

A great gym! Safe and secure (badge reader entry; wall-mounted panic button; security cameras). The workout areas, stretch area, and locker rooms are always kept exceptionally clean, as are the carpets, equipment, and windows. There’s an excellent variety of well-maintained, state of the art aerobic and strength building equipment - free weights, machines, plate loading machines, Pull Up and Dip Bars, lots of dumbbells and more.

EDIT from 1 to 5 star: Alicia the gym owner contacted me to set things straight with a soliciting issue, which is very commendable for a business owner to do these days.

Edit #2: Bumping from 4 to 5 star. Gym fixed the door scanning issue by placing one outside, replaced squeaky cable attachments, new and friendly staff hired. Great gym.

Only reason not bumping from 1 star to 5 is state of some of the equipment (or lack of for diverse options for lifts) and front door scanning issue, but the owner and location are good.

Beware! They closed the location I was a member at and then would not give a refund for my remaining year. Their best offer was that I drive 30 minutes to a different location... would not suggest any long term commitments because you never know

Note: if you decide to stop your membership, you have to send a written letter to the company. You can't simply discontinue.

Also, once you do so, you still have to pay an additional whole month.

Also, extremely limited weights and machines. And staff is unfriendly and rude.

One Life fitness down the road is 1000% better and is comparable in price. And you get SO much more. Go there instead.

Amazing gym!! I love that it is open 24 hours, so I’m able to come in early before work, or later in the day! I’ve only been coming here for a few weeks, but I’m so glad I made the change from my last gym!! This gym seems very clean and it looks like everyone keeps to themselves! I have 2 small suggestions, though! 1) A vending machine. I’d love to be able to have the option to buy an ice cold water or a protein shake! 2) a rubber straight barbell set! I know the gym has barbell racks, but it has the heavier ones. I’m small, so at my last gym I always used the 25lb and 35lb barbells. I used them for biceps, triceps, and also used them to do hip thrusts! Overall, though, I’d recommend this gym to anyone in the area!:)

This is supposed to be A 24 hour access gym but the scanner only works about 40% of time. Once again the scanner didn’t work and again I was unable to get access to the gym. The gym has no problem collecting their fee how about making the access to the gym as reliable as you collecting payment. There was suppose to be staff at the facility but when I called it went straight to voicemail. I will be canceling my membership tomorrow because if I can’t access it I am not paying for it. This gym also makes it near impossible to cancel your membership to try and retain members. I wouldn’t advise using this gym unless you want to be thoroughly frustrated.

Very confused why the door is locked the entire day but then don’t make it easy for new customers to get in. Just moved to the area and I’m an easy sale but after sitting outside a locked door with no way in I guess someone else gets my money instead. At least have the employee who saw me just unlock the door if they’re not going to open it, ridiculous.

My husband and I joined this gym a little over a year ago when American bodywork’s closed. We prefer small gyms over the big over crowded ones!! And now 3 of our teenage children also work out here. Overall we have been pleased with this gym. The staff is great, especially Shay! It has plenty of cardio equipment and is never too busy. The reason for four stars is that the padding on equipment in general seems to wear out fairly quickly, making for uncomfortable workouts. For example, the pads on the calf raise, the leg raise and elbow pads on the Roman chair etc..also the ropes are in desperate need of being replaced. It appears the place could use a freshening up in general. Another suggestion we have, is we wish the staff would be more proactive in asking those ( mostly younger people) that park on the machines sitting on their phones for forever. It being such a small gym, there is no room to just sit and hog equipment.

My wife and I started coming here about a month ago. We love it here. Pricing is awesome and the gym is well equipped. The energy of the gym allows everyone to feel comfortable where they’re at in their fitness journey without feeling like they’re being judged.

Although it is a cheaper priced gym there are several reasons why I would not suggest the gym. It does have decent equipment although some of it was older and broken. My largest and primary complaint is that they use the ABC billing service. After attempts to cancel this membership in May of 2022. I am still sending certified letters and have wasted several hours on the phone. It appears they want to keep taking your money regardless. I have even gone so far as to cancel the credit card. That being said when I was actively working out there on the regular I had several notes left on my company vehicle by the manager. Apparently It was assumed that the vehicle was abandoned there even though I was a member and I was working out at the time. After the 2nd letter I received on the windshield coming out after my workout that pretty much ended my desire to continue a membership at this gym. That Inevitably is the reason I had canceled the membership. Going into a New Year and still dealing with ABC billing. Trust me the gym's not worth it

Overall, this gym is really nice. I do have an issue with the fact that it is rarely staffed. If one pays extra for the premium membership, they are unable to use the tanning because no one is there to turn on the tanning beds for you.

Edited after response from company: I should have include this in the original review. I have visited on multiple occasions within the hours posted and there are no staff members present. I stay there for my workout of 30-60 minutes and still do not see anyone.

I enjoyed my time at this gym. The 24/7 access was what primarily drove me here as there aren't many other gyms with those hours in the area. There was a good variety of equipment that suited my needs and the gym was always clean.

One note of caution: when I moved into an apartment that had a nice fitness center, I no longer needed access to this gym. However it is EXTREMELY hard to cancel your subscription/membership. This brand must contract with a third party company, because it is very hard to cancel. They make you jump through a ton of hoops: from in person, to a website, to an overseas call-center, to submitting a form in the mail, and so on.

I joined here 2 years a go with a friend with a great deal. We thought the place was good. Then I got lazy again... Lol just joined again but with my dad. We are getting healthy together. Still a great place and not pricey. I like the door is locked unless u have a key card to get in. Makes me feel a little safer if I wanted to go later. The lady who signed us up was so friendly. Seems to stay clean as far as I notice. They have wipe buckets everywhere for you to clean the machines you were on. I look forward to coming in and getting my workout in for the day. I would for sure recommend them.

Convenient and adequate. A variety of machines for cardio and strength training. Not a mega gym, not a Gold's muscle gym. A good neighborhood facility that allows you to work as hard as you need to. The stretching and calisthenics area on the small side. Plenty of spray bottles and cleaner.

I regularly work out here great people in the morning in the afternoon not so much. If you want a supportive positive experience your time table for everyday is 8-11 am. Be cautious about cleaning equipment most people think they are too good to wipe stuff down in there so clean before and after to be safe.

Start your fitness by running away from this gym. This management of this gym is indifferent, and it’s employees are uninformed. When I tried to leave this gym, their employee told me incorrectly that my contract would just expire. It took me 5 months to get out of this contract! I sent multiple emails and left messages for owners, but they just didn’t care enough to even return an email. The manager who did care about my situation is no longer working there.

I’ve so far had positive experiences at this gym and liked its size and privacy. The price is really reasonable. However, I was really disappointed after accidentally leaving my North Face jacket in the locker room and then calling back to see if it had been found or turned in and being told it was thrown away. It was a $100 jacket that was a gift from my mother, and I think the policy being to “throw away” things that get forgotten doesn’t create much loyalty with me. When my contract is up I am not likely to come back. I like to frequent businesses with a certain level of trust and common courtesy that isn’t valuable to this company.

UPDATE: I spoke with Robert this morning and received a full apology for being told that my jacket was thrown away. Robert explained this is not their policy, they do hold onto things unless they are mildewy. I wasn't able to track down my jacket, but I feel much better knowing it wouldn't have been thrown away. Robert seemed very genuine & I appreciate their willingness to give me a call and help clear things up. Its a good place to work out, just don't forget your jacket!

Rip off. Do not join! I paid for a full year of Get Fit which allowed access 10-6pm. They did not provide a door key because the gym is supposed to be staffed between those hours. However, I can't tell you how many times I drove to the gym ready to workout and the staff was gone and the door locked. That's not what I paid for! I have spoken to 3 different managers (high turnover, I guess?), and they have admitted workers are gone, but have blamed the issue on corporate for not providing key access during those hours. Even the owner's daughter had the nerve to tell me, "well, you must not have an account here if.you can't get in". Talk about ridiculous! I don't care whose fault it is. I paid for a service and it wasn't provided. Stay away from this gym. I've had many gym memberships, and this is the worst experience I've ever had. I have spoken to corporate about this in length and filed a formal complaint.

Horrible gym. I'll save you a long read, but basically they charged me for a trainer after all their trainers quit. They had (and this is still true) no female trainers after that but they never refunded me for the sessions I didn't receive and I was told by the owner's daughter that "it doesn't work that way". Please, I implore you, choose literally any other gym. Even Planet Fitness. Gold's, One Life, literally any other gym. They don't even have barbells.

I have been a member at this gym since March 2015. Today, I went to cancel my membership as I joined a gym closer to my home. I have never had a issue with the gym until a went to cancel.

When I went to cancel, they refused to pro-rate and/or remove the annual enhancement fee ($29) which comes up each year at the start date of the membership. I cancelled before my first year ended, but they told me my annual renew date comes up within 30 days after the date I cancel and I will have to pay for one month ($25) and next year annual enhancement fee ($29).

Instead of looking at this from fair and reasonable stand point, they quoted policy and would not pro-rate or waiver the annual enhancement fee. I informed them that I would write this online review based on my negative experience.
