went for a trial class for a mommy and me class and was severely disappointed in this place. when i got there i spoke to the young lady who worked behind the desk and explained we were here for a trial class & it was our first time here. all she told me was i could sit over with the rest of the parents until class started so i did. class finally starts and we go out on the mats & both my daughter & i have our shoes on. STILL NO ONE SAYS ANYTHING TO US. I'm out on the mat with my 2 year old & a bunch of other toddler and moms who have only socks on. I also have my purse with me cause I want not told where I could put my belongs at while we were in class only to find out there's cubbies after the class is over. Still I tried to put all of that aside and enjoy the class, no one cares about you if you're new. You have 15 minutes of structured class and the rest was free use of the gym. No one tells me or my daughter how to use anything they just assume we know even know we are clearly new cause the instructor sees the same people every week. I highly recommend everyone to look for a better place with more caring, welcoming & friendly staff!!!

My daughter, who is 5, has just begun her gymnastics, journey. In 3 sessions she’s already overcoming her fears of being upside down and creating bonds with gymnasts as well as her coaches. The training staff has been a shining light in her success and has created a passion in my little girls, heart! I couldn’t be prouder and am so glad we found World of Gymnastics & Cheer!

I accompanied a friend to watch her 6 year old daughter do gymnastics. All I will say is I wouldn't have chosen it for my child. Not to disparage any of the dedicated staff but I noticed a relentless odor to the place to the point where I was wondering if it was cleaned on a daily basis. I also noticed that some of the younger girls were tumbling without spotters.

If I could give less than one star I would, This gym has created a atmosphere of negativity, there is no clear guidance or support. The Director shows favoritism and does not allow a space for the gymnast to share concerns. She sparks fear in gymnast, fear to speak up or mess up. My daughters drive and love for gymnastics has diminished since joining World. No point in bringing concerns to Director as they fall on deaf ears. Your Son/Daughters experience may be different but this feels more like a money grab than a place of growth and development. The easy response to the post is maybe your daughter isn't that good but numbers don't lie. The honest response to this post is they failed my gymnast. I can assure you my daughter wont be the last to leave, My daughter knew she deserved better.

I went with my friend and her almost 2 year old boy. He's a huge kid and needs a place to exercise. This gym is perfect. He ran to his heart's content, played on the balance beams, tumbled on the mats, jumped on the trampoline and dove into the sponge pit. It was great for him to play with other kids and they had a staff member to guide some play activities. It was just what he needed! We have signed up for a weekly open play slot.

My daughter has cheered here for 4 years and we love it. The coaching staff is awesome and really pushes/assists the athletes to be their best. The location is awesome!! The small gym atmosphere makes it feel like a family! The coaches, Cheer director and owners are accessible for parents questions. The coaches are positive towards the kids and research new tips and techniques to help girls achieve their skills. They work out a great competition schedule for the competition teams! I really can’t say enough good things about World!

In fact, my daughter loves her coaches so much that even though she always sees them 3-4 days a week, she still elected to have her birthday party here too!!! So we found out it’s always a great place for kids parties as they played the biggest version of “the floor is lava” that you’ve ever seen.

LOVE it here, I started taking tumbling classes here a few months ago and have progressed so quickly that I tried out for team and made the level three all stars team! Coaches are absolutely amazing and I 10000% recommend this gym. Everyone is very accommodating and will work with you even if you have never tumbled before.

Extremely rude. Do not bring younger kids here that still want parental security. Even if they are in daycare and potty trained. That doesn't make it ok to coral the parents in a dark room with picnic tables while they let the children figure it out. The instructors didn't even acknowledge where the class was or where to go. The kids did this. 5-7 year old kids led the new kids . That's ridiculous. The short blonde director lady is rude as well as we will not return. We will go to allstar where the parents can participate until their child is comfortable!

Be leery of the days you choose for your schedule, particularly Monday's. Holidays are not given make up days if your scheduled day happens to land on one of those days. When the "policy" was explained to me it was that a week from the previous month would be taking the place of the 4th week for September to complete the month. It didn't make sense to me so I broke down the 52 week year and for 2016, there are 7 holidays on Monday, 1 on Thursday and 2 on Friday. That means that 7 weeks would have been paid for but not received. If you do Tuesday or Wednesday you get the 52 weeks. I brought a spreadsheet detailing this information and presented it to the girl at the front desk. It was tossed to the side and I was told the owners would not be reviewing their policy because that is how it always has been. To top this off I heard instructors in the background talking negatively about their students.
The only reason I gave it two stars is because the instructors my child had, specifically Ally , is great.

My daughter Brooke was a gymnast at World for 7 years. Tim and Jackie taught my daughter more than just skills. They taught her how to be a good kid. Not only did she make life long friends but learned about positive sportsmanship and character. We switched gyms after we moved and have have missed World everyday since!

We are very grateful for the time our daughter spent on team at World of Gymnastics. Her coaches were diligent about meeting her at her current level of performance and setting appropriate expectations and attainable goals. World coaches make efficient use of their coaching time. In approximately a year and a half, our daughter made great strides physically, emotionally, and socially. Our daughter learned to push herself beyond what she thought she could achieve! Gymnastics for us at World was challenging, fun, but most of all secure place for our daughter to develop a wide range of skills that will carry her through life! Thank you WOG!

Issues with this camp and why we will never return or utilize this company for Gymnastics for our daughters:

1. Very costly and no benefits.
2. The director/owner stated that they did "several hours" of gymnastics each day with breaks for snacks, lunch, a craft, and water time. Lily told us that she only got less than an hour of gymnastic time and it was only use of trampolines and the foam pit.
3. Very little involvement with actual gymnastics instructors. Lily said some of the older kids were counselors and that they had lots of "free time" to do whatever they wanted.
4.They never knew where Lily would be and always had to "find" her.
5. Little to NO security.

we've had a boy and a girl go through their program and they loved it. They weren't competitive but wanted to try gymnastics. The coaches and staff are fantastic and the Friday night out program is amazing. I have trouble getting our kids to come home from them!

We've had kids attend, go to camps, go to birthday parties and even work with the gym over the last twenty years. Couldn't be a better environment. Great starting place for competitive cheerleading and gymnastics, and really convenient to the Towne Lake area. We've seen other gyms that were a lot more money, a lot more pressure, and a lot less pleasant. For early level participants, great opportunity to get a feel for the sports and plenty of excellent coaches to help you level up.
