New 10/21/25 now hours have been reduced to 5pm on Saturday!!!! Lots of people work on Saturday and dont get off till 5pm! They took out half of the equipment and did not replace it. Put in fake grass in the open area where the 15 other workout machines were. It was a good gym now its vary small. Really needs to be 24 hour access hours are way to limited on weekends. 24hr card access please I would gladly pay more for it...

For 10 bucks you really cant beat it. All the equipment works and is in pretty good condition. The turf area is big enough to do what you need to do. The have free weight dumbbells that go up to 120 i believe. Have 2 squat racks. 2 smith stations. 2 bench press 2 incline press and 2 hack squat machines. My only knock on this place is no sauna and the personal training options arent the best. The one personal trainer who i will not named is built like a basketball (ROUND) but be trying to train people and is constantly giving out suspect info. Apparently he is certified but if you know anything about getting certified in the fitness industry a) its not that hard b) they let you take the test open book. so i say all this to say.....if you want a good gym that has it all as far as equipment is concerned this is it...just dont expect much in the terms of personal training

Don’t waste your time. The 17.99 is NOT worth it at all because they have limited machines or it’s so crowded you have to wait to use one. When you go, they harass you to do the personal training classes that they make you pay for. Then they give you a hard time trying to cancel. Talking about your account has to be current and you have to give a 30- day notice to cancel. I don’t even live in the area anymore and I’m not driving an hour just to go to the gym.

I signed up for a membership at this gym over a year ago. The sign-up process was quick and easy, with no issues, which at the time seemed like a good start. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. When it came time to cancel my membership, I encountered a nightmare.

First, nobody disclosed to me at the time of sign-up that there would be a fee to cancel my membership. If I had known that, I would have thought twice about signing up in the first place. After paying them for over a year and hardly using the gym facilities, I decided it was time to cancel and save my money. To my shock, instead of a smooth cancellation process, they hit me with a fee out of nowhere. On top of that, they didn’t even try to work with me. Instead, they sent my account to an attorney to recover over $200!

I feel like I’ve wasted my time and money on this gym. After being a paying member for over a year with minimal usage, I expected some professionalism and transparency, but I got neither. I would not recommend this gym to anyone – be cautious and make sure you ask about all the hidden fees before signing up.

This is a nice gym, but I unfortunately had to cancel my membership because the air had been broken for months, and they didn’t seem interested in fixing it. I would go in and be met with sickening heat and humidity before I even had a chance to break my own sweat. I can’t imagine how they’re holding up in this heat wave. If you like “hot” workouts that feel as if you’re in a sauna, this is the place for you. It is a very nice gym otherwise.

Don’t sign up unless you plan to stay forever. They claim if you cancel within a year you have to pay a $50 cancellation fee but even if you wait after the year, the process to simply cancel your membership takes a month and then they’ll charge you for an additional month after cancellation just for giggles. You can’t even cancel the membership through YouFit, you have to go through a third party. Oh and there’s still a fee to cancel your membership on top of paying for the additional month. No other gym is as greedy and genuinely dishonest as YouFit. I’ve been to several different gyms and this gym by far was the worst with how many hoops I had to jump through and how much money they stole just by trying to cancel it. DO NOT invest ANY time or money in to this gym. And if you do, make sure you ask about the $10 membership that they absolutely will not advertise to you unless you ask. It’s essentially the exact same membership as the others…

I too was a victim of YouFit staff of incompetence. Came in person to cancel membership and none of the staff knew what to do. I ended up incurring a charge erroneously and when I tried to contact the corporate office they were not receptive, and very dismissive.Very disappointed in this company. Do me and yourself a great favor do not join or do business with youfit. My membership "was"at the
Douglasville Location.
They charge during closure due to the virus a few times. I "froze" my account and they took it upon themselves to "unfreeze".
They just take and take.
The manager never came out the office to see about me. She just kept sending out the front person and never came to see me at all.
I never fussed or raised my voice.
She the manager just didn't care at all. As a person people should deal with people,not tell people to deal with corporate after they do the damage with your account.
I will just cut my losses.
So boycott youfit with me please and thank you for your support in advance.

Part 2. 2yrs later
Ok so I tried again. After signing up and going 1 time. Not realizing that the hours of operation as they were. 2 weeks later, just 2 weeks I needed to cancel. They are holding my bank account for 3 more payments including the annual fee of $49
Buyers beware.
I work 3 jobs and look after my elderly mother. I just needed to find a club that had different and longer hours.
I was an error on my part but after only 2 weeks they should have made an adjustment and maybe charged me just 1 more time.

I've been training at YouFit for a year. It's a pleasure to train at 5am and greet ChizqiYah. He always has a smile and, greets everyone who enters the gym with a hello or fist bump from across the room. The gym at 5am is always clean!! Terrible gym. Several of the equipment is broken. Only four exersise bikes. The locker room is very dirty. I went here for an hour and canceled next day which should have refunded my sign up fee. Not only did they not give back my money but they had the audacity to continue to charge my card the bi weekly fee until I canceled the card. My friend charged back the 50 they owed her and the gym took the money back somehow. Even though we both have signed documents showing we canceled within three days. Stay away from this fraudulent place.

Great gym, but Angelica(?) is rude and sarcastic to gymgoers, I have witnessed this on multiple occasions. She's the manager, correct? Why does the manager have the worst disposition of all the employees? Update: what gym doesn't have an operating water fountain? It's been weeks. This location is in desperate need of new management. BEWARE!! They will not actually cancel your membership and charge you when your not going!! This gym is crazy. I had a membership in 2016. I went up to the gym to cancel the membership a year later. The employees never did the paperwork even when I went up there. They did not cancel my membership when I asked them to and now they are leaving me responsible for years of memberships I canceled years ago. I have not stepped into a youfit since 2016. Don't waste your Time or Money joining this Gym. There are much newer and better gyms in the area.

I've been a member for a while and the equipment is old, worn and antiquated. Once the equipment breaks it takes literally 6 months or more to repair or to replace it. sometimes it's never replaced. for instance, a simple battle rope recently became un-coiled and it hasn't been replaced yet. They also cut corners by patching things up instead of just replacing it.
as you can read the reviews below a consistent theme is the old, worn out equipment and as you can see the owner has been promising to fix stuff for a while.
Most of the treadmills were replaced recently but, some of the newer ones are already skipping which can cause serious injury. needless to say they are of poor quality.

Although this is not a body building training gym it is perfect for a regular healthy lifestyle!
They have added new equipment/machines, but it would be a great and better fitness club if they added a steam room or jacuzzis in the near future!

The gym is decent. Some of the equipment has some wear and tear. There are machines that have had an out of order sign on them since I joined almost a year ago. The brand was overhauled recently but it has yet to impact this location. It would be nice if the machines were fixed and newer equipment added.

Good for beginners. Staff was cool. Needs more weight racks. You have to carry 45lbs a great distance to bench, squat, etc. Clean gym. I didnt like the “newer” model ellipticals, but nontheless they were new. Not crowded at all, if thats your deal. Its a bigger 24/7 type of gym to me. I would recommend to beginners, people who like this description, or elderly.

Ive cancelled not once, but TWICE and I'm still getting charged monthly. Ive asked for management to contact me but have yet to receive a call and its been over a week. Absolutely ridiculous - highly do NOT recommend.

I froze my account at the start of the pandemic because I was told there were no refunds on paid-in-full accounts. Now that there are vaccines out and we’re moving in a better direction with this pandemic, I called this afternoon 2/25/21 to unfreeze my account.

Douglasville location

I was told my account actually expired and there was no indication that my account was ever frozen.
What ever money I paid for my 1-year membership is gone and I’d have to pay again.
I personally can’t and won’t do business with this place again. Either this was intentional or it was incompetence either way I’m ticked off.
I’ll offer my business to the new folks on Hospital drive .
