Great old school gym I used when visiting the area. Everything you need is there for a solid workout and their hours are perfect for early workouts. $10 day pass was excellent.

First time there. Staff is very helpful and accommodating! Not a huge fan of the re using rags to sanitize over and over but it is better than nothing! They have every machine you can think of which is amazing! Fans everywhere, no AC. We Will be back.

Old school gym with old school equipment that gets the job done. There are also some new hammer strength type machines that are great. The owner is really nice, friendly and accommodating. 35$ for a week pass is a great price especially when traveling. I definitely this gym

The facility was part of a huge warehouse that includes several other gyms. Lady at the front desk was nice and gave us a day pass ($10 each) and explained the rules. We went in and the bottom part was filled with mostly weight lifting equipment. There was a small portion upstairs that includes a couple exercise bikes and other cardio equipment as well as a section that had open floor for stretching etc. didn’t mind it, the bathroom did not have a sink and I believe the facility did not have water unless they were selling their own drinks. Overall it’s okay. $65/month is pretty steep for the facility considering there isn’t as much equipment.

Nice "hole in the wall" gym where you can sweat and not be bothered. What it lacks in new equipment it makes up with exclusivity and kind staff. No scales but whatever. Stay away from this hidden gem, I like it too much.

I paid for a week pass but I could only use a day of it because their hours are very limited. They have a good amount of equipment and the owners are really nice!

Another gym that bobbies up its own rules..by the local government, having passed my Covid test on arrival, Im allowed to go anywhere, except this gym, told to have to wait a month. To protect their members, but those mates could get out waking around, the virus...Very ridiculous

Open aired gym in Hilo. Best breeze but missing some equipment ... for me it’s the best option here.

Member for over a year. Stayed because staff is friendly, good variety of machines, and enough racks and benches to accommodate several lifters, and a good selection of cardio equipment including punching bag. Good mix of members with different workout goals and experience levels.

Just went today for my first day. One of the best most friendliest gyms on all the islands. Energy is super dope there. The owner keeps the gym in impeccable order and very clean especially during this time. Would highly recommend!

One word: COMMUNITY. I wish I had a gym like this back at home. It's a no frills, get your work done spot, which makes it all the more awesome. It has all the equipment you'd want to be there and is well maintained, but it's the people that really make it. Byron, who runs it, is the man. He puts preserving the community above all else.

Best gym on the Big Island. Period.
Everyone at the gym is family, no matter how long you’ve been a member. I was here 2 days to just work off all the loco moco, poke bowls and shaved ice in my belly but I wish I could come here daily.
All the equipment is old iron bang and clang type stuff. One main rule, just be respectful. Put your stuff back and clean up after yourself.
On top of all that goodness, guest passes are only $5!!!

If theres one thing I miss about hawaii its this gym. Its a gym thats half the size of most of the other gym, but with twice the Aloha. Everyone there is nice and are always possitive about fitness. This gym and uncle erick who works out there gave me the motivation and dedication to lose weight and get in shape. Lost about 52 pounds since working out here. Sadly I'm not in the state anymore. Miss you guys hopefully see you again someday. Aloha <3

Been a member over a year now...I'm 67 and found they have a perfect setting for me and the right amount of weight circuit for what I want to accomplish. Checked out Penn fitness and was treated very rudely. Aloha fitness is easy to get to and no traffic hassles. I do martial arts and there is an upstairs workout area with a heavy bag and room to practice in. There are a lot of younger more serious lifters that train at Aloha. The staff is excellent and no drama is allowed. If you're younger or older...male or female...serious lifter or someone like me who just wants to stay in shape...come join the Aloha Fitness Ohana
