Beyond Pilates Studio Hawaii, is a fully equipped, boutique STOTT pilates studio including the GYROTONIC® Method. We are located in the beautiful island of Oahu in Honolulu, Hawaii in the Kakaako area. We work with different ages and fitness levels from beginner through advanced. We pride ourselves on having a safe and supportive environment in which to learn while having fun! We specialize in posture and alignment; core strength and stability; balance and coordination; movement and flexibility. We also cater to and offer pre and postnatal pilates, pilates for men, and beginners pilates basics with an emphasis on core pilates.

I’ve been attending Reformer classes at Beyond Pilates Hawaii for 3 months now and I’m so happy to have found Diana and her studio! I spent 7 years in reformer classes and had a reformer at home back in Austin before relocating. I am a Disabled Veteran with permanent injuries and I’ve spent many years in physical therapy. Finding “the” studio can be super hard and finding “the” instructor is harder. I tried out 7 studios in Honolulu along the way, and I’m so thrilled to hit the jackpot with Beyond Pilates.
The class size is small, which is incredibly important for having personalized attention and instruction, and they offer many modalities of Pilates instruction - everything from Gyrotonic on, and for all fitness levels. As I’m rebuilding, body and my mind are so much stronger from my twice-weekly classes and I often find myself looking forward to the outlet and strength-building! I genuinely appreciate Diana’s upbeat, disciplined and spirited nature and am enjoying the accountability I’ve built with her and my peers in the classes each week.

Started with a three class intro course with Diana at Beyond. She informed me what Pilates is and does for the body. She explained the equipment to a point where I can be confident moving and adjusting the different pieces and explained how to make the most of class. I have been taking the group reformer classes and I enjoy it a lot. It’s a small intimate class which provides a great workout with a great teacher to student ratio. I enjoy supporting a local business/women owned studio. Highly recommended.

I worried about my physical and energy Because i always get tired easily and i didn't have confident about my energy. I can do pilates 50min? NOW! I CAN SAY ! Yes! I Could!!! I am so happy to have found Diana and her beautiful and well equipped studio! All the people and instructors I’ve met there are lovely. As I enter my retirement years I had old injuries and spinal alignment issues that were impeding my workouts and causing pain and sleep loss. I needed to rebuild slowly under the guidance of an expert healer. Beyond Studios Pilates is a clean and intimate space welcome to all levels of fitness. I am a surfer and triathlete and wanted to incorporate more stretching and strengthening in my work out routine. I recommend the intro package (3 x one-on-one plus 10 group sessions) if you are starting for the first time. I tried pilates for the first time about six months ago. Let me tell you, I was hooked from my very first session with Julia. She challenges me to try hard things and encourages me to push myself. It’s never boring and Julia is always teaching me something new. I’ve gained strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence. If you’ve ever thought about trying pilates, do it!! Diana is a phenomenal Pilates instructor. I started seeing her for private lessons twice a week last spring because I was seeking relief from chronic back pain. Over the past 6 months she has taught me a lot about my body, including where my muscles are very weak and why I have pain. I've become much stronger and there is a visible improvement in my back and shoulders. I'm also much more comfortable! I now take her group classes twice a week and cannot imagine a life without Pilates.

Ms. Diana worked with me for two weeks straight to really help me in every way possible before I headed off to my summer intensive for ballet. I am so grateful how committed she was to helping since my first meeting with her. We did early mornings and even weekends on her days off. The instruction that you will get from her is so detailed and easy to comprehend so that you can get the best out of each session. I felt pushed in just the right way. She taught me a lot about the fifth line and other weak points in my body which are really beneficial as a ballet dancer. Not only did she teach me about ballet and dance related lessons but also ones about life. Taking things day by day and doing what you need to do to achieve your goals and believe in bigger dreams. I love this studio! I did private instructions with Diana and after 3/4 sessions my back pain decreased (which is why I turned to Pilates to begin with). I also did their group classes with both Diana and Julia - and both instructors are amazing. They are very knowledgeable in proper body mechanics/alignment. I have had long term, ongoing pain in my knee, and after only two visits, Julia Wrobel was able to eliminate the pain I had been experiencing through muscle manipulation and stretching. Her ability to listen and diagnose the issue seemed to come naturally to her. I am still amazed to this day that the pain has not returned. A professional knee doctor told me it was probably arthritis and that I would have to live with the pain my whole life. But thank you to her, he was wrong. So if you’re in pain, see Julia!

Diana Wrobel is fantastic—not only as an instructor but as a person and now as a friend! I came across Beyond Pilates randomly through Yelp while I was on vacation & it was one of the best places I found on this island. Beyond Pilates is hands down the BEST pilates studio on Oahu! I started there after I had my second child three years ago and my body was totally out of whack. Not only did I drop from a size 6 to a size 2 but I felt connected to my body again and had less back and shoulder pain. I’m a working mom and convenience and time is everything! I work in downtown Honolulu and their location is SO convenient just minutes away. They offer classes on my lunch break for added convenience. Wonderful place ! I love Diana. You can tell she has experience and a big heart and cares for you. I always wanted to do Pilates with my scoliosis, and I love my sessions. My core got stronger, I am more flexible and less pains overall. I never realized pilates is a workout and can be intensive if you want to make it intensive. When I came back to Hawaii, I was upset to be leaving behind my pilates community and routine that was extremely important to me. Luckily, I found Beyond Pilates. Diana is an amazing instructor, working with me one on one on all my needs. Since starting with her in April, I feel more flexible and stronger than I ever have before. I didn’t even realize my strength until she showed me how many springs I use in class! Having suffered from some serious injuries the past couple of years (knee surgery, broken ankle, etc), exercising was something that I always associated with pain. Beyond Pilates checks the blocks for everything you would want in a Pilates Studio. It is clean, pleasantly decorated, well equipped, light, and friendly. But what sets it apart is the knowledge and skill of Diana Wrobel. Able to strike a perfect balance of challenge, joy, and safety in her workouts, she is a master in evaluating what is needed and knowing how to accomplish it. Hands down the best Pilates studio and instructor on Oahu! I have been working with Diana for over 2 years now and it has been the only exercise that I have been consistent with. Prior to working with Diana, I would have discomfort in my neck, shoulders and back from sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day. Since seeing Diana this has pretty much gone away. I also gave birth to my second child via C-section in May and I was up and walking the next day and felt back to normal within 2 weeks! I truly attribute this rapid recovery to all the core strength that Diana has helped me build through Pilates.
Incredibly grateful to have Diana as my Pilates instructor and I look forward to our weekly sessions. She is the best!

My sister & I were vacationing in Hawaii in 2019 and, knowing we had a difficult family situation to handle on the trip, my sister found BPS online & signed us up for several sessions with Diana. I'd never done Pilates before & because I have some health issues, I was extremely hesitant to spend my sister's money on "exercise classes"... but the classes with Diana proved to be one of the greatest blessings of our visit to Paradise! Diana was patient with me & never made me feel ashamed of my limitations. She is definitely worth the time & money. Invest in yourself while you enjoy the islands.... it will definitely enhance your experience! God bless you, Diana!

I am a retired executive who has never participated in any sort of organized exercise regimen or classes at health clubs or had a personal trainer. Fortunately, our friends were familiar with Diana and her Pilates studio and I began taking her classes. All I can say is that pilades has literally changed my life and improved my physical and mental self and Diana deserves all of the credit with her expertise of pilades, knowledge of the human body, and her upbeat and fun attitude. Recently I had a private pilates sessions with Diana at Beyond Pilates and it was wonderful!
First off, the space is really welcoming: warm, lots of light and simple decor. Second, Diana is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable instructor- I have lots of old injuries and she was able to help me not just work around them, but pick out specific ones to help my knees and shoulders.

I have been a client of Diana's for several years and I strongly recommend her and her studio to anyone interested in taking Pilates and/or Gyrotonic. She seems to know exactly how far to push me without sending me over the edge. She also is able to adapt the exercises quickly when I'm having physical issues.
