Our 3 year old had her second class today, after being on the waitlist for 1.5 years. Teacher never showed up and 20 minutes later no explanation or any staff around to help. Finally found another teacher but she did not seem interested in helping the 10 parents waiting for answers since she had her own lesson starting. Come to find out our instructor was sick. Where is the management and communication? My daughter was in tears leaving. Such a disappointment.

Please beware of this place. The only way to even enroll your child in or even be on a waiting list is having to put your credit card info. Than trying to cancel your card on the island tumblers account, you can’t even do that cause there’s nothing on there to click cancel. But I think that’s a way of the owner making money off of people. What they been doing is taking your child’s name off the waiting list to make it look like your child has been going in order to charge your card. My daughter was on the waiting list since October. Than I get charged for classes she never even when too. Getting ahold of someone professional about the situation is impossible along with a refund. This has been happening for a few months now where multiple people have been getting ripped off.

This is such a sad review to write. For whatever reason the owner/management has run this once amazing gym and staff to the ground in a matter of months. Try Ohana Gymnastics in Waipahu. New but very promising with amazing coaches!

Do not recommend right now. We were on the wait list over a year and a half. Everything was amazing for a few months and then really went down hill. Constant turnover with coaches and the new ones are on their phones way too much / don’t seem to really want to be there.

Last week they cancelled gymnastics as all but one staff member showed up. They did not communicate with everyone in advance to tell them they cancelled for the day but told everyone as we arrived to the site. Then there was no follow up email or any acknowledgement as to an apology for people coming down just to find out it was cancelled or if they would refund us the day. Tried calling today (the next week) to see in advance if the class is still going to be as planned or cancelled and there’s no ring and the mailbox is too full to even leave a voicemail. I’m very disappointed at the lack of communication from last week.

We are very disappointed in how Island Tumblers Gymnastics handled our situation. What was once our favorite place for our child has now become a huge disappointment. After raising concerns about unsafe conditions, we received no email, no response, and no refund.

The gym has only one coach overseeing the entire school, and all the other coaches have left. This lack of support made us feel that our child’s safety was not a priority. She loved this place, and it’s devastating for her to have to walk away because of how poorly things are being managed.

Families deserve communication, accountability, and a safe environment for their children—and unfortunately, we could no longer get that here.

This use to be a great gymnastic gym for both recreational and team until the out of state owner dismantled the girls competitive team and all their coaches. The owners decision has devastated at least 40 girls and their families that trained and have committed hours and funds for years into this gym. It was all handled very poorly without any resolve or apology.

My son enjoyed the classes and always got his sweat on. The female couches were great, very informative and helpful as well as positive. I will say the male teacher often looked annoyed with the kids, like he didn't want to be there - so that was discouraging. The bathrooms were often dirty and without toilet paper but the gym area was always clean and being wiped down.

My review applies to a birthday party for girls age 10-13.
The staff assisting the children were great, they seemed to understand their sense of humor. It is about 3 1/2 stars due to sanitation. It appears tattered and I didn't see them wipe down anything! Also, was extremely hot, no ac and limited ventilation.
They do have a variety of fun activities for the kids to participate in.
Parking can be difficult.
Would be five stars with a deep cl an and sanitizing.

Island tumblers gymnastics is fantastic. Coach Dajuan is unbelievably patient and motivating in the 3-5 year class. Facilities are clean and the coaches wipe down equipment after every class.

The only downside is parking can be rough, but absolutely worth it for the kids enjoyment.

My 2 year old daughter absolutely loves this place! If my child is happy, I’m happy. The instructor is great with children. There’s stretching for like the first five minutes, then a run through two different obstacle courses and afterwards the kids have free time. During free time kids can jump in the trampoline, rock climb a wall, walk the tandem bar and play with toys. They’re also very responsible with preventing the spread of COVID and do temperature checks before class, wear masks, have hand sanitizers available and will notify you if someone who has recently been in the gym tested positive while keeping the individuals personal information private. They are also very responsive with emails ( my preferred method, I haven’t called)

Fantastic facility. Fantastic coaches (Aloha Charles and Warren!). Fantastic programs. Fantastic equipment. We loved just about everything about this company. 11/10 do recommend. The expense and experience are totally well valued.

Only cons: lack of A/C and the tiny parking lot that is overfull and full of loose gravel. Those are the only day ruiners I can think of, but I was willing to suffer beyond those to get my girl to her awesome class after school.

The staff at Island Tumblers are fantastic. They are skilled gymnasts themselves, excellent instructors, great communicators, and honestly care about each student. They establish an atmosphere that is focused while still having fun as well as accepting of all. I had my daughters at another popular local gym before, but it has been a much more pleasant and whole experience here. I would highly recommend Island Tumblers.

Great learning environment. Kids love this and never complain about going. The major issue is parking. It's like playing a game of shoots and ladders. But where isn't it an issue here on island.
The trainers are helpful. Some are better than others. Watch how they interact with you child for the first couple sessions. We are really happy with Island Tumblers.
