The course is in really great shape. The renovation surely made the course much more difficult with undulating greens that were pretty hard. It was impossible to get your ball to stop on approach shots depending on the angle from which you are coming in from.

Course is usually in great shape! It’s not my favorite thou, lots of hills, ups and downs, challenging course for sure. Few things that disappoint me- If you are gonna claim the country club name you should deliver. Pearl is known for probably being one of the top 3 wettest courses on the Island and the carts don’t even have rain covers. The driving range is disappointing. Especially when they close it on “Tuesdays” for maintenance. What maintenance? Didn’t see anyone working on anything. 🤦‍♂️. Plus no chip and put areas either on Tuesdays. 🤦‍♂️. No place to warm up. There is a “special area” that you can pay extra for to go chip and putt on. $$$$.
The food was ok, disappointing hotdog… mostly all bunn.. kool thing I will say is that you can order from the cart via a QR Code and they bring the order to you where you are on the course.

A beautiful and challenging course. The fairways and greens were immaculate. This was my first time golfing in Hawaii and the bar has been set high. Every staff member was friendly and super helpful. The breakfast plate was recommended by the starter and it did not disappoint. I hope to be back soon and plan to play a round at the Pearl every time I visit Oahu.

What a treat this course is. The service was wonderful from the girl at the cafe to the starter and the staff who cleaned our clubs and took them to our car for us. The holes are challenging but not so much that I was frustrated. The greens are maybe the BEST kept greens I’ve even seen. No ball marks to be found on them, they are firm. Loved the back 9, very unique layouts there. The best course I’ve played in Oahu so far!

Pearl at Kalauao is an absolute pleasure to play! The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful—some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at any course. They make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

They recently renovated this golf course and it's really nicely done. The fairways are in great shape, the bunkers have soft sand and the greens are solid. However, the greens are a bit hard, so even on a good shot on the green, it tends to bounce off. The views were great and the food was excellent. On Fridays they have a hawaii plate for $17 which was tasty. We are definitely coming back.

Update 8/19/25: we tried the Lechon Kawali, which was excellent and curry beef (Japanese style) that was really good as well. You really can tell that the kitchen staff paid attention when preparing our food. The serving staff was friendly and together with the view from our table made our lunch here quite enjoyable.

This is a review for its restaurant, which it interestingly doesn’t have its own name. First of all, the outside sitting area was so relaxing and comfortable with a view of Pearl Harbor and Pearl city. The menu consisted of burgers, Hawaiian, Filipino, Korean, Chinese and assorted other dishes. The food tasted fine, though nothing great. The service was decent and friendly. All in all, it was a wonderful experience having lunch here even we didn’t golf that day.

Had a wonderful round here. The course is challenging and super fun. You have to play is twice to understand some of the shots you need to make. Several blind shots and lots of elevation change. Really convenient QR code ordering system from your cart - used it 3x during the round. Can't beat the 6 beers for 30 bucks deal at a golf course in Hawaii unless you smuggle in your own.
Some of the tee boxes are in really bad shape along with some parts of the course.
That last picture of the grass driving range is a fluke - we got kicked out of the area because it's reserved only for lessons. We almost hit a full bucket of balls before the coach came around so we were happy lol!

They have made some significant improvements to their course and facilities but the course is far from being a luxurious one as they say on their website. Several areas on the course are not well maintained or not maintained at all. One particular complaint is the rough on the 7th hole. You cannot see the landing zone of your tee shot because the tee is very elevated. The fairway is fairly narrow and the rough on the right is virtually unmowed. It’s so high that it is almost impossible to find your ball.
For the price of greens fees that they charge there, I’d much rather play at a nicer manicured course like Kapolei Golf Club.

Great Day at The Pearl at Kalauao. Had a wonderful lunch with my coworkers at The Pearl at Kalauao. The golf course is beautifully updated and the ocean views are absolutely stunning—such a relaxing setting. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Just had Easter brunch...I believe this was their first buffet since reopening.....overall a great experience 👍...did have a couple of hiccups, like ice cold pancakes that tasted like frozen or made the day before, low quality bacon, prime rib overcooked...nothing was really hot not even the bread putting, but the gold star was the omelet station...it was done right and the chef's were awesome...really made our experience worth it...overall it was a great day...service was beyond great 👍...never had a empty glass...definitely worth it and would recommend...can't wait for mothers day. hope to see improvements

A great golf club. The staff are very nice. The restaurant serves great food. The golf course is in really good shape and although somewhat challenging is a fun place to play. I had to constantly think my way around the course. You have to be good at reading the greens. They are hard and fast. The cherry on top is the awesome views of Pearl Harbor. Came here for lunch prior to playing a round. Great Service and food was excellent! Ordered their weekend special, breaded kanpachi with lemongrass sauce and coconut rice. Fish was seasoned well and went well with the sauce and rice. The gal serving us was attentive and kept our drinks filled. Would definitely go back and try other dishes. I played the front twice a year ago (early 2024) before the renovation. Very playable and fair design. If you hit a good shot you're rewarded. The renovation is completed. More bunkers and beautiful layout. It plays much tougher now. Hopefully the greens will soften with time because a good shot runs off the greens too often.

Came for lunch with my mom. This place has recently been renovated. They have a wonderful pupu, breakfast, lunch, keiki and drink menu. The restaurant is immaculate. Ordered the fried chicken and lunch combo with rice and green salad. Good portions , awesome taste, fast and friendly service. Hale Aina is an awesome place to go for breakfast and lunch. Free won tun chips for lunch and corn bread for breakfast. Go check them out. A hidden jewel above pearlridge shopping center. Beautiful views.

The renovations done to this course are apparent as the arts are upgraded, the fairways are nice and new and the greens are new and … very very fast. It was an enjoyable experience which comes at a new higher cost than before. The going rate for island golf seems to have creeped up to $90+ which this course now joins. I think it is worth it given the fun course layout and updated hardware and I’ll visit every few months.

I was here with my 18 year old son. It was his only game on Oahu before coming back to Europe. We were expected much more from a Hawaii course. I know this is subjective but grass was in bad condition all over the place. Other players were cutting the line and no sheriff to solve this. Most of the holes are just straight lines. Practically no water. Also, views are not what Hawaii guest would expect. This is at best, an average city course. It could be OK for practice for people living near by, but I wouldn't recommend it for Hawaii visitors.

I been here a bunch for takeout and I must say that it was worth coming 20 minutes from my area to here.
Now, let's talk about the most important part - the food. The menu at pcc restaurant offers a variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. I decided to try their curry and I was impressed.
Considering the quality of the food, the prices at Pearl Country Club were reasonable.
I highly recommend dining at PCC restaurant if you're looking for a delicious no frills dining experience. Food is on point for a golf club. I usually get the spaghetti bolognese or beef curry, this restaurant exceeded my expectations on the curry, most times the curry isn’t that great at most places but pcc does it so good especially when chef Aurelio cooks. I will definitely be returning and exploring more of their menu in the future.

It's "Pearl"... and what more could I say about that..? If you are in the golf community you know what I am talking about. If your not and starting out. Just know this- know your etiquette. This is a Country Club. If you are not aware of the difference between a course and a club. Please research it before entering the drive way to the securty booth. This is Not just only a golf course but a very beautifully designed course sprawled across the Majestic Koolau/Aiea Heights mountains. Sitting just over the pearl ridges mall with a breath taking view of Pearl Harbor and the Ewa plains.
The weather is always perfect. With a start of the morning with a light drizzle for good luck. As you reach in to your pocket for a tee to set up your approach for a Drive on a par 4 hole number 1. It's deceiving looking down that most believe they can reach with thier driver. Go and try. It's one of the widest and most looked apon from the outsides. As you approach the green you can't help notice the amount of people watching you any time of the day. As several high rises blanket that corner of the course.
Well that was your introduction to Hole 1. At one of the most beautiful well maintained courses on Oahu. The "Pearl Country Club. A very challenging layout with long par 4s and 5s. As hills and gullys push your club selections making sure to not fall in those sand traps and water hazards along the par 72 stretch.
A must try course at all levels.

Absolutely loved playing here! The staff was great and so friendly!! I had so much fun playing this course first thing in the morning, some of the views were truly amazing, especially being able to see Pearl Harbor from some greens and tee boxes.

The course was in very good condition overall but they were honest about a few of the greens needing a little work, which is not a problem for me coming from FL - when it is dry that is to be expected.

If you are coming into town and want to play some quality golf, then avoid this course at all costs. The amount they charge to play here is criminal when you consider the conditions. I dont understand how it could be both the wettest, and also driest course I have ever played, at the same time. I could overlook the terrible fairways and rough if you could get any putts to roll consistently, but that is not the case here. The "greens" are in terrible disrepair, and it is rare to see actual grass on any of them besides those in view from the clubhouse, which almost seems like a purposeful attempt to mislead people before they embark on an excruciatingly slow round. I think the rating for this place is inflated by the apparent quality of the restaurant, but I cant speak to that since we didnt bother to stick around to eat after the five and a half hour round. Again, if you are visiting Oahu, and want to play some good golf, spend your money elsewhere.

PCC is a centrally located course that offers an abundant of services with an excellent golf course as your backdrop. I stopped in to check the facility out the day before and had a chance to talk to the staff who definitely had the Aloha spirit. They gave me the overview of the course and what other services they offer such as weddings, corporate events, tournaments, graduation parties etc. This would be a great venue for a company team building event. I took an out-of-town guest to play 18 the next day and we both enjoyed the great views of Pearl Harbor and surrounding area. There are a few water holes and blind dog legs and that made it more fun. The fairways are pretty open so there's not a lot of chances to lose your ball unless you really shank it. The course was manicured and well maintained. The greens will need a face lift soon and they played a bit slow but overall, you'll get the ball in the hole. A few of the holes have blind spots but there are mirrors to make sure you don't play into some unsuspecting player ahead of you. Overall, I'll definitely be back for more play. They have private areas for lessons and have a nice driving range and restaurant. This is a great opportunity to get in your golf fix and have a great meeting or event too. The staff made this a notch above, nothing but smiles and energy.

Pearl Country Club has incredible potential - friendly staff, nice property and great views of the harbor. The grill has a surprisingly large menu with indoor and outdoor seating. They were quick about getting food out which was helpful to make our tee time. The starter was fun and provided helpful tips about the course. The greens, with the exception of 17 and 18, were consistent with a muni course versus a professionally managed course. Make sure you pick up beverages and snacks at the start and turn. No services on the course. The hardest part of the day was that it was horrifically slow. The round took 5.5 hours. I love playing golf, but that’s too long.

Over booked! 4 group pile up on the 3rd tee box! Greens are terrible. No food in the snack bar on a Saturday? Took us 6 hours to finish the round. Started at 10:30 finished 4:20. Other golf courses offered vouchers without even asking when pace of play was terrible. This place doesn’t care they just want your green fees. Don’t go!!!! Go to Waikele country club it’s only 10 minutes further down the H1. If you want to kill time please come here it’s awesome for murdering weekends. Or better go to a municipal course it’s about the same conditions and 1/2 the price.

The course is in prime condition right now. A couple pair ways have some GIR action right in the middle but nothing major. The grass on the fairways are even but certain parts of the course have hard clay and soft clay making club selection key. The greens are in great shape. True roll and some very fast greens. There may be 2 or 3 holes that have spongier soft green but you can tell the difference when you step on it. Overall beautiful views when clear and sunny 🌞 difficult course to play because of long holes and hill slopes.

Great course overlooking Pearl Harbor. We played on the use kids tournament this weekend and it was great. Pretty challenging greens. Island rule is it breaks toward pearl. We got to play 3 days on the course and it is in amazing shape would highly recommend if you get the chance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A bit pricy to play anywhere in HI but I had to play here for the view you get of the bay. Open course but tough grass and greens. Ball rolls towards the ocean no matter what it may look like..lol. Enjoyed it.

Loved the course before setting one foot on. The amazing view from the clubhouse is quite spectacular, and views of Pearl Harbor throughout. I played on a beautiful sunny day, and course was tough for 1st time. I will be back soon.......stay tuned🤙🏽⛳

I paid $67to play at pearl cc today Aug 15 2021.The green sucks. The green speed was completely rough!! I couldn't help but playing hockey on the green, not putt. It's because the green speed so~~ooo slow. Maybe they don't mow the grass on the green to save labor costs. And why is the game going SLOW it's gonna take 5hrs. NEVER....EVER!! PLEASE avoid this Fxxxxxx golf course!!

Played it because I was on the Troon Card. Not impressed at all. The course was in mediocre shape at best. Greens were OK but the overall condition was poorly kept. Bunkers have grass growing in them for example. No beverage cart and no ranger to keep play moving which seems to be typical for Hawaii courses. Less than impressed, won't play again . Too many other nice courses for the price.

Chose this course only because of the courteous replies of the staff to other reviewers. Was not disappointed at all. Enjoyed the round, the course layout and courteous staff. Rental clubs could use some upgrading and should include a sand wedge for the high lip bunkers but other than that it was all good. Highly recommend if you only have one chance to play while visiting.

Twilight prices are very reasonable. The fairways n greens are decent. The starter is painfully slow, sorry to say, but it's true. From the time we checked in till we finally got our carts was about 20 to 30 minutes, c'mon now!
