My daughter has been coming to Becky’s since August of this year. I was not only impressed with how organized Becky was in getting 3-4 year olds participate successfully but also how she gently redirects as necessary. Her prices are extremely competitive compared to other studios across the valley which is also nice as well all know having multiple kids in various activities adds up quickly.

Expectations for class, and things like recitals are communicated far in advance. And we got our winter costume a few months before the performance resulting in us not having to scramble to figure out what to do if it was delayed or ample opportunities to exchange in the event it didn’t fit.

I appreciate the viewing windows as well and ample seating in the lobby. Becky has also a toy station for younger siblings. A previous studio only allowed us to view classes at certain time and based at their discretion. It’s nice I can watch whenever class is available. We look forward to continuing on through the new year at this studio!

My daughter has been going to Becky’s Dance for about 6 months - we love it! The instructors are genuine, inviting, and so fun to work with. The studio is clean and has such a cute sitting area to work/relax/rest while your kiddo is in class!

We also love the variety of classes that are offered and the communication with families is top notch.

The option of a biannual recital is also a great motivator for the kids to learn routines & it’s fun to include families in the dance world!

Horrific experience with the owner, Becky. She is plain rude, snappy, and impatient. She wears many hats at her studio so I gave her some grace in the beginning. But after just 2 classes, we cancelled our membership .

You get what you pay for and the classes and dancing are less than stellar. The ballet classes are very showy and tacky and lack the beauty and grace you would expect from a ballet class. Information is thrown at you and it is unorganized. She is also very rude to everyone. Would not recommend.

Becky’s Dance Co. has been the best find! Our daughter had an interest in trying gymnastics and fell absolutely in love! She has improved so much and has been challenged to continue improving. We signed my son up September 27th. Paid the enrollment fee and then when October 1 came I paid that bill. I was charged a late fee for September!! I literally joined the last few days so how is that fair? I paid the September bill with the October bill a few days later. When I asked about it, she basically told me “too bad” my son had only been to 2 classes by this point and he got sick and we went on vacation. So I was told he cannot perform in December. But he was still required to pay Nov and dec. despite not being able to participate. I have a bad taste in my mouth and we are just not having a good time. I don’t like how she deals with her customers and kids. She is now threatening to send me to collections. So good luck with them!

Unfortunately this dance studio does not follow though on what they say. I was offered a refund for two classes that turned out to have much younger kids than my child. I did not request it, the refund was offered and it has not been received in 2 months. Very disappointed on the companies follow through.

Read the contract line by line because the owner of the studio finds loop holes to price gauge people! God forbid you have something come up and are unable to make her recital, she will charge you a fee even if you give advanced notice. Also the costumes are a major disappointment. Leggings and a t shirt with the dance companies name on it for $60. WILD. Do not recommend.

Our daughter has attended Becky's Dance studio for the last 4 or 5 years. Never really had an issue until as of late.
Our daughter originally started in Ballet they tried lyrical and tap. Now she is in Hip Hop.
We originally signed up for the Intermediate Hip Hop class scheduled for 6:15. every Monday. The instructor that originally was teaching the class had to take a leave of absence. Due to this we had to make a change in the time. No big deal and we were flexible.
Fast forward, our daughter wanted to do a club volleyball this year. It was unknown for us what dates and times they would schedule due to having limited gym space with Covid. Unfortunately, volleyball and dance have been scheduled on the same day and time.

Our daughter really wants to be a part of Hip Hop and has practiced the dance during the week.

We asked if our daughter go get moved to the beginners class and was told that its too full.

If we do decide to stop dance they are going to require us pay the month to month anyway for the remainder of the year....I just wonder what those would do if they got sick or had covid and had to miss a couple of weeks of class.

I don't mind if we get kicked out, but to have to pay for something that we still want to do....

I do not recommend this place or teacher for your children. She is very rude to the children at times and becomes impatient. Which is not how you should treat kids when you choose to work with kids. The dances, routines, choreography, song choices and costumes are clean and modest keeping the youth innocent. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They have very little talent. My 6 year old is as good as most of the teens. I started my daughter out here and will not return. Perhaps my expectations are too high Im comparing to the dance studio I danced with as a youth. Where 90% or better won 1st place in all competitions competed. If your looking for a dance studio where your child can be admired for whatever they do then this is the place. If your looking for a studio where your child will actually lern to dance then Do Not even call Beckys Co. Sorry to say but I feel like it's more of a business then a studio. But don't take my word for it. And dont say I didn't warn you.
