I’ve absolutely loved working out at bodfi been going there for 3 years. That staff have always been super friendly, helpful, and motivating.
This gym has a great atmosphere and friendly community. It’s clean and has great equipment everyone makes you feel welcome and apart of the gym.
I’m having to leave due to serving a mission and the employees were super helpful with helping me cancel my membership and made the process easy
I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for a supportive place to work out and improve themselves. I’ll miss it here!

Pros:
The staff that work at the gym are really great

The equipment is decent.

Cons:
the cancellation process is horrible. I’ve been working for a month to get my membership canceled and still haven’t gotten it canceled. Truly scummy business practice.

When I’m paying close to $100 a month, I find it truly insulting to have to pay extra for a key fob and meet with a manager to get permission to workout after hours.

The bathroom and amenities did not ever seem clean.

Conclusion:
The staff is amazing. The gym is overall fine, but severely overpriced. The cancellation process is atrocious and a horrible customer service experience.

Disappointing Billing Practices – Buyer Beware

My son, a former student, joined this gym while attending school in the area. Upon graduating and relocating, he followed their cancellation process— notifying the gym his cancelation numerous times, submitting written notice as instructed. Despite this, the gym continued charging him, refusing to acknowledge his cancellation.

The gym’s refusal to honor cancellation is an exploitative practice and likely targeting transient student populations.

I strongly advise exploring other gyms in the area with more transparent policies. If you do choose this facility, document all communications and carefully review your bank statements for unauthorized charges.

Man, where do I start. Bodifi is like a family, they’re always willing to help. Is it a little pricey? Yeah, but think about all the benefits. The staff is wonderful and always wanting to put a smile on your face, some notable workers are Nate, Maile, Janet, and Amberlyn. All of them are such great people. The exceptional service allows you to get the greatest pump of your life, I can always count on them cheering me on as I slowly do my Zottman curls. And at the end of the day, when I go down to rest in the tanning beds, they are extremely helpful in making sure I am well taken care.

Dallin Zohner is a blessing. Not only does he have the physique of a Greek God, he is also compassionate. I can't tell you how many times I was doing a workout without proper form and this angel in disguise helps me change my form. Changes monthly subscription price without any notification multiple times over the last 3 years, I had to send a certified letter a month in advance of my next billing cycle to cancel my membership (certified mail and insured). Despite doing this, I was still billed this month. When I tried to call the number on Google, the number was a fax number, and I had to talk to the website chat bot to find the Rexburg location number. When I called they said it takes 30 days to process a cancellation request, and that I need to cancel my membership TWO MONTHS in advance in order to account for how their systems work. I asked for a refund on this month because this was never told to me and isn’t anywhere to be found on the website, or their terms and conditions (see picture), they said no because it’s not how the system works. The best part is the amount they charged me for this month I was supposed to have canceled isn’t even the normal amount that I’m billed for my membership and I have no idea why.

If they can afford to give out $20,000 in prize money every year for someone who finds a rock, they can give me a refund on the one month I won’t be using their facility because I moved out of the state, especially since I’ve been a member at this gym for almost 6 years.

Find another option that isn’t going to screw you over on your way out the door. There are two other options in Rexburg. Been going to bodifi for 8-9 years and one month my card is out of date I get crazy amount of delinquent charges. Which is funny I literally go everyday but no one says a word to me. So I went looking into it more and I was way over paying compared to what they told me. Over the last couple months I’ve had problems with my wife’s membership so over multiple times over the last couple months they explained our memberships. But looking into what they were actually charging me was different. So I investigated more and they were charging me that higher price for months. Then on some months it was higher and then other months lower. So over the last 8 months they have charged me 3 different amounts and all were over the price or membership plans my wife and I had. But they also don’t care to help save our members with them or fix the issue. We’ve been members for 8 yrs and then make me pay for a full month of a membership so I can cancel is straight garbage. Also I have to send in a hand written letter to their billing to cancel and I have to make sure to have tracking and insurance on it to prove that I sent it and has to be 2 different letters for my wife and I. Bodifi has straight went to the pits on how they do stuff now for their members especially the loyal ones that have been there forever!

I had a membership that included free access to the tanning beds. I had an instance where I wanted to try using the tanning bed and made it very clear that I (obviously) have very fair skin. The staff member made a recommendation on which tanning bed I should use and that she thought I’d be fine to be in there for almost 15 minutes. I was surprised since I’d only ever used one for a max of 5, but she told me that this one had something different to it so I’d be able to be in there longer. Well…. I left feeling fine but about 6 hours later I was VERY red and BURNT. As the hours progressed, I experienced extreme pain. I discovered that I had a burn that was so bad that some of my nerve endings had been damaged and were attempting to heal. To this day it is still some of the worst pain that I had ever experienced. A few days later I attempted to talk to someone about what had happened and they hung up on me. I was absolutely appalled. Especially because it took days before the pain went away. I tried to cancel my membership (which they make near impossible) rather than try to pursue anything further and recently found out that they have continued to try and charge my account after two years. This place is seriously not worth the headache. Go to Golds gym.

I opted for the luxury month-to-month membership, which comes at a price point of around $70. However, my enthusiasm is tempered by the membership rules, which I believe could benefit from a review. Notably, the process for cancelling membership—requiring a mailed termination letter to Salt Lake City, Utah—struck me as needlessly cumbersome. This outdated practice contrasts starkly with the streamlined methods employed by other modern gyms.

I find it perplexing that in 2024, Bodifi persists in such antiquated procedures, particularly when digital solutions are readily available. I urge management to reconsider their approach and embrace digitalization, allowing for more convenient cancellation options such as phone or in-person requests. Additionally, the burden of mailing termination letters should be shifted from members to the gym itself, aligning with contemporary business standards.

In conclusion, while my experience at Bodifi Gym has been largely positive, there is undeniable room for improvement. I sincerely hope that management takes these suggestions into consideration and implements changes to enhance the overall membership experience.

All of the class options are amazing and the instructors are the best! High energy, always having different themes, and really care about their patrons! Becky and Mary have really out done themselves on the group fitness schedule, it’s so good!

This gym is so spacious and nice. The front desk staff is pretty great and super helpful. I never really have any problems with finding an open machine or barbell which is super convenient for my schedule.

No kind of gym expert or frequenter but in a year between visits they have made massive expansions and upgrades! Staff knowledgeable and friendly, equipment super nice. Parking lot quite full tonight and still plenty of room for everyone that I could see. Love to see local businesses prospering and investing, especially with emphasis in customer service!

I had an amazing experience with Bodifi. The customer service was outstanding, and the gym equipment selection was exactly what I was looking for. I was so pleased with the service I received from Bodifi. They went above and beyond to help me find the perfect membership that fit my needs. I was very impressed on how they keep up on the quality of their equipment. It’s exactly what everyone is looking for in a gym. The customer service at Bodifi is excellent. The gym is well staffed with friendly employees who always welcome you in and are responsive to any needs or concerns. The gym is clean and well maintained - the new equipment is great, even though I am having to re-learn some of my exercise routines.

My husband and I are new to the area and found this gem of a gym. I cannot say enough great things about this place. From the front desk staff to the class instructors to the management, everyone is kind, caring and very welcoming. You're always greeted with a smile when you walk in. The classes are outstanding. The instruction is extremely helpful and the classes are geared to whatever level of fitness you might be. The instructors take time to explain how to adjust your workout according to your specific needs. We LOVE this place! We have belonged to several gyms in the different areas we have lived, and truly this one is topnotch. As business owners ourselves, my husband and I understand the challenges of running a quality business and keeping customers happy. Bodifi in Rexburg has nailed it. Not sure why there are some negative reviews. Our experience has been nothing but extremely positive. I would encourage others who may be questioning the quality of this gym to give the management an opportunity to solve whatever your issue may be rather than leaving a negative review. This gym truly does aim to please. Give them a chance to assist you and you will discover exactly what we have...Bodifi in Rexburg cares about their members. You will enjoy your time spent working out and will see the results. My husband and I are both looking much more fit and feeling so much stronger. I signed up for their platinum membership which in their website says that includes 24/7 access… I paid a full year because I wanted to avoid the unnecessary and quite expensive fees (enrolling fee? Processing fee? Annual fee? Any other?)
Great was my surprise when the next Sunday, I made my way down to this lovely gym, and it was closed. When I ask about it the next time it was open, they told me if I wanted to really have 24/7 access I needed to have an interview with corporate, pass the interview, and then buy a key Fob! $50! So after all, you do have to pay for 24/7 access…

Management is really confusing and by the reviews you can tell that they will try to squeeze every buck out of you, but other than that, the gym is nice, the classes are pretty good, instructors are awesome, equipment is pretty nice, people is nice! That’s it :)

Update: after reading management’s reply… I confirm my opinion that these people are after your money and are so misleading! 24/7 access is not available with memberships if you have to PAY for it! Literally I have a membership but I don’t have 24/7 access because I don’t want to pay the extra $50 bucks, since I already paid enough. You say you don’t charge an additional monthly fee, but you do charge an additional fee… see, just misleading and shady… the interview is kinda old school and weird, frankly, why do you even have women working in the middle of the night? Most gyms I’ve been to have only normal business hours until like 4 pm and the rest of the day and night are regulated by cameras, I would think that in a highly religious town like this you would trust your people more lol but I guess not!

Bodifi in Rexburg is incredible! They have such a wide variety of gym equipment. I can follow any workout program without any worry about Bodifi not having the machines I want. They also have a wide variety of classes and times available. If I need a break from lifting, then I can always find a class that I will love. It's safe to say that I look forward to going to the gym every day not only for the workout but also for the welcoming community that Bodifi has established.

This would have been a 5 star except...........
(This review is coming from a from a former gym manager of a much larger facility. )

The process of Canceling this membership is dedicated to scaming an extra month, or months, of your money out of your pocket. Gym will start your membership but will refuse to cancel it. They'll say it's standard practice. But not compared to several better gyms I've used, apparently better gyms.

Also it was explained to me by staff there is a person in the building that had the authority to cancel memberships with the corporate office with phone call, but they refuse to do so. They can if fact cancel memberships but they refuse to, very ethical. Zero stars in reality.
