I've been going to both of the yoga classes offered by Louise at Boost Fitness for a few months now. I really love the vibe that Louise puts out in her classes. At the end of each class you really feel like you got a great workout, but during the class it's fun and calming and feels like just hanging out with a friend. She is very good at helping you to focus on your strengths while also being open to making adjustments for each individual.

I also love the music that she plays. I recommend Boost Fitness for anyone looking to get some great exercise in a calming and relaxed environment where you can really get to know your instructor and she can really get to know you and your needs as well.

Louise is so personable and easy to work with! She not only listened to me and tailored the training to meet my goals, but also took a thorough health history before starting and was able to tweak exercises to accommodate past injuries. I really appreciated that she helped me minimize risks while maximizing results. The space is also a great size for one-on-one training—spacious enough to move as needed, but not get lost in endless benches and machines. I’ve enjoyed the benefits of one-on-one personal training with Louise for almost a year. Prior to this, I attended group classes at the gym for more than a decade.

In particular, I’ve really liked the few times we’ve done yoga because she teaches me the CORRECT form so my over-strong muscles don’t compensate for the ones that should be working. You’ll never really get the right form in a group class at the gym if you don’t get one-on-one first. In fact, that goes for strength training as well!

Every body is different and Louise takes the time to ensure that your workouts are benefitting your body. She knows all my injuries and how to work around them with modifications, and with them to increase strength slowly without further injury.

She goes my speed but also pushes me a bit further each time. Thanks, Louise!!

What an awesome workout!! I’ve been doing virtual personal training with Louise at Boost for a few months now and I love the results. It’s so user friendly and easy to zoom in a great workout. Louise is patient, super knowledgeable, and just the right balance of pushing me and giving me what I want out of a workout. I’m strengthening my whole core & it’s been so fun! Google Review Update for Boost Fitness:
Boost Fitness Online has been my godsend during the pandemic. I'm not even joking. I didn't think doing training on Zoom would be anything I would ever do. Not even halfway through the pandemic. And yet, Louise manages the sessions with care, showing/doing with me at the start, and then watching my body mechanics carefully with small verbal adjustments. She asks every time before we begin what is going on in my body and whether there is anything emotional or mental being held in my body anywhere that I am aware of. Then she quickly adapts, if needed.
She is sooo wise and intuitive and experienced and knowledgeable. She understands structural anatomy and kinesthesiology in a way that my other trainers never have, or at least never demonstrated like Louise does.
She is also a phenomenal yoga sequencer, adopting some core exercises that help flow through life. Period.

In May 2019, I wrote this about Boost on Google Reviews:
Boost Fitness would not be Boost Fitness without its amazing chief trainer: Louise Schollaert. She brings with her a depth and breadth of knowledge of body mechanics and structural alignment that is invaluable to my exercise routine. Without her ability to both push my growth edge AND break it down, I have exercises that I can do everywhere--and do. I cannot recommend her personal training enough. The first time I showed up at Boost Fitness, I was out of shape and had a knee injury that made me a little nervous about working out. Louise tailored all of our sessions to my fitness level -- always encouraging and supportive -- and had me do exercises that strengthened the muscles around my knee. My knee was pain-free after a month or so of working with Louise. I think of my workouts with her as *preventative* physical therapy for all of my non-injured parts!

Beyond the nuts and bolts, she's an absolute pleasure to workout with. Super positive, smart as heck, and funny! Time flies by when you're having fun so choose your personal trainer wisely. I highly recommend Boost Fitness!

I love working out with Louise! She customizes the workouts, and I have never felt stronger. Every workout is different, and she does fun themes at different times of year. The gym has a ton of types of equipment, from bike to rower to weights of all sizes, and more. We even do workouts in the park sometimes, which is a blast!

I've had the good fortune of working with Louise since Feb 2015. I have friends who've stopped working out with other trainers because the workouts have become monotonous over time. This is definitely NOT the case with Louise. She's always introducing new exercises and pushing my abilities on exercises we do more frequently. She's great at support and encouragement, even when my attitude isn't the best. I know she really cares about my health and well-being. She's also fantastic at stretch and mobility work. I've been training at Boost Fitness for a few years now. Louise has helped me learn how my body works and has taught me how to work out to relieve tightness and back pain. She is patient with me and customizes each workout to match my ability perfectly. I started with very little ability and now I can hold a plank for a minute, do squats, jog, lift weights, and do yoga. Working with a trainer has been the only way for me to stick to an exercise plan - since I had no clue how to exercise before! It is totally worth the investment. Call Louise now and get moving.
