Sumer Camp July ‘25 for our almost 4year old was a great experience for her. Although she is still learning to listen and following instruction. Coach Jose and Coach Adam were wonderfully patient with all the kiddos and it seemed as all kids were given attention and care needed to gain confidence to do the various activities. My 11 month old loved the mommy and me class. Even though he cannot walk without help yet, we were still able to participate in almost all the activities. Coach Jose did an awesome job coaching the class and interacting with each student and was very enthusiastic with them. This class is amazing, not only for physical development in those early months/years, but for social interactions as well. My son loved watching the older kids, who were all very sweet to him, and I think watching them helped him pick up on things more quickly. In just an hour, he learned how to tuck his chin for an assisted forward-roll. Would definitely recommend this class for your baby, even if they’re still learning to walk!

I loved that Flip & Twist was willing to work with my schedule. My children are on a custodial schedule that makes most extracurricular activities impossible. With their makeup class policy, I could reach out to them each month with the schedule, and they really made it work for my kids. My children enjoyed the curriculum, their friends, and the coaches. Some oddness was that the coaches rotated, so the kids didn't get familiar with just one. The children are also not pushed to try any more or less than the child wants to. If the child is motivated to do something and not another, there won't be any pressure for them to try doing what they don't want to do. Generally, the children love the activities.

We have three kids that have been doing classes for the last 4 months and they have loved it! One daughter is doing the gymnastics and is getting more confidence with the moves. Two boys are doing Ninjour and they are gaining confidence and learning how to maneuver their bodies. It is definitely a highlight of the week for all! My child can be difficult to deal with. She suffers from chronic anxiety and is scared of heights, being upside down, spinning too fast, etc. So, you may be wondering - why bring her to a gymnastics and ninja studio?

Well, we were gifted some free classes, and thought she should at least try it. As it turns out, she found a friendly, patient coach in her class who took time to build her confidence and gently push her along. By the end of the two classes, she was running up to a drop, jumping off the edge to a pad, doing summersaults, cheering and calling "Dad, dad, watch me!" between fits of cheers and giggles.

Honestly, I was amazed at her rapid change in attitude and ability to be guided through scary situations and even enjoy them. I was very impressed by the staff, by how they handled the large group of kids, how they were able to take so much time with each kid even with the circus around them.

I have other kids, as well. They have all similarly loved the classes, with my young boy asking when he can go back. We're grateful to have something like flip and twist in our community!

My child has been attending Flip&Twist for over a year with no plans to stop! It’s a great value for the monthly membership between the weekly class and hour-long open gyms. I am not sure what else in the area compares but we’re happy to have found the perfect place for ninja training. We’ve done the 2-hour birthday party and it was the best venue to invite the whole neighborhood. This gym is truly a highlight of raising a family in southeast Idaho. My son (7yo) did a couple of their camps last summer. He had a lot of fun with it, so I enrolled him in the ninjour (ninja + parkour) class. It’s 7 month later and he hasn’t gotten bored and never wants to skip a class. I love that’s it’s non-competitive and that skill advancement is personal. He is never made to feel behind any other classmate when he hasn’t mastered a skill. They all appear to just advance and grow in ability and confidence at their own pace. The class environment is fast paced and is perfect for my child who never stops moving. The coaches are all very attentive, encouraging, and patient. And despite the fact that I usually see 3-4 classes going on at a time, they all appear to have the space and equipment needed to accommodate everyone. I think this has been a positive experience for my child and love seeing the joy and pride he feels when he learns something new. We plan to keep coming as long as he wishes. I also think it’s great that as a member he gets to go to open gym times for free.

We have two kids in classes at Flip&Twist and can’t say enough good things about it! The coaches are incredible - we especially love Jose, Blade, and Chandler. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Class sizes are small so kids get the instruction and supervision they need to grow skills and confidence. Since starting classes here, our kids have become SO much better at entertaining themselves at home, they learn that they can do tricks anywhere. They were even doing Parkour on bike stands last time we visited Yellowstone NP. We love Flip&Twist!

Flip & Twist is INCREDIBLE! My daughter has been going here for Little Ninjas for a few months now and it’s the highlight of her week! I love that there’s two open gym opportunities a week and that classes are a full hour. They also offer make up classes when you have to miss a class which is awesome so you’re getting your moneys worth. They’re so organized and clean, and everyone from the owner to the front desk staff to the coaches are so friendly and welcoming and even know the kids all by name. All the kids have to use hand sanitizer before class which I LOVE. Coach Jose is amazing and always has a smile on his face. My mom referred to him as the smiley guy when she didn’t know his name. He is so friendly and sweet to all of the kids and is the most encouraging coach! When he teaches my daughter’s class she is so confident and willing to try new things that she was always too scared to try. We actually switched her class time specifically so we have him as her coach— he’s so so awesome and really made us love this place even more than we already did!! If you’re on the lookout for a great gymnastics/parkour or similar class for any age, this is definitely the place to go.

Waiver FORCES you to agree to let your name, photo, and other information to be used for publicity. There is no option to decline, when I called in they were beyond rude and told me no one would but the people in my group, if that’s the case there should be NO REASON to FORCE that clause.

Update: Apparently calling in to ask questions about this policy allows the owner to call and harass you, no accountability was taken only deflections.

In response to the owner: YES FACTS DO MATTER. In order to participate EVEN FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY, you HAVE TO SIGN A WAIVER. That waiver contains a NON OPTIONAL CLAUSE stating that the company can take pictures and use them for publicity. If they do not actually do this, as they're claiming, then why not have an option to decline? It is shady business dealings just like calling people back who DID NOT CONSENT TO BEING CALLED AND DID NOT LEAVE A CALLBACK NUMBER.

The coaches at Flip & Twist are PHENOMENAL! I was apprehensive that a couple of the coaches were younger, but it took less than 20 minutes for me to feel confident that they had some incredible skills. You can see how well the students respond to these talented coaches. The staff is very helpful in finding the right class for your child.

UPDATE: I can’t wait to see to see the new commercial by the Nosey Neighbors at Paramount Theater!!! I know several parents who are super excited to their talented kids featured on the big screen. It has been so fun seen each of these students progress!

My son has been going here for almost 3 years! It has been the best place and experience for him. He absolutely loves the things he has learned, and continues to learn! 10/10 recommend this gym for your kids! Our son has been in Coach Blade's Parkour class for over a year now and has made tremendous growth in his skills and his confidence! Blade does a great job at connecting with the kids and our son looks forward to going to class every week! I also recommend the Open Gym time, too. At Open Gym, We love seeing Coach Jose there! Review update: I have been taking the adult parkour class for over a year now, and I would like to give a shout out to Coach Blade and Coach Jose for teaching me that age is just a number. I have never done a flip before of any kind in my life, and as a 32 year old mom I figured that ship has sailed. BUT thanks to these two AWESOME coaches, I can now do a standing back tuck and a wall flip and so much more! I always leave Flip and Twist feeling 10 years younger! I love this place and couldn’t be happier with this class. Thank you Coaches!!!

Highly recommend! The coaches are absolutely fantastic and the front staff is nothing but welcoming and kind! Everyone I have had the chance to meet has been very skilled and knowledgeable. The ninja/parkour classes have helped my 7 year old tremendously with his confidence and he always looks forward to class. I have also been very impressed with the adult parkour class! I was intimidated and nervous initially, being someone in my 30’s with zero knowledge of parkour and very little tumbling experience. However, the coaches do an excellent job of explaining and breaking down each move to where every single adult, at any skill level, is able to achieve everything that was taught by the end of class! I absolutely love this place and definitely recommend it to anyone of any age!!!

My two oldest sons have been going to flip&twist regularly and we have seen so much improvement and development in many aspects. They have become very outgoing and friendly as well as more independent and patient. I enrolled all 3 of my daughters in classes in January. We have been so pleased! My girls love Coach Jose. We have had to miss class once, just for my older girls, and they made it super easy to make up that class. The structure of everything is awesome, I love the rotation and so do my girls. The only thing I wish were different is the limited seating for parents. There are a total of 7 seats. Sometimes there are upwards of 15 parents there. During open gym, this problem is way worse. I am so glad that so much of the building is put to good use! But I do wish there was a better waiting area. Otherwise we are very very pleased 😊

Flip & Twist is the best!! I have brought my 5 year old here for a few months and she has loved it and improved more than I thought possible. She is very shy and gymnastics has helped her confidence so much! She has really blossomed at school and at home because of it. She’s always trying flips and tricks on the tramp and around the house and having a lot of fun with the things she’s learning.
They are also very organized and always on time and the coaches are amazing and make the kids really comfortable.

I cannot say enough positive things about Flip and Twist! My kiddos have been attending classes here, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The instructors are highly skilled, patient, and incredibly supportive. The children feel comfortable to learn and grow. Extremely crooked business practices!! We attended classes for a couple of our daughters last year. This summer we did some summer camps but didn’t sign up for any fall classes. Come to find out, they started charging us again for classes without telling us and ZERO receipts! I found their charges on our bank statements and talked to someone from their office. They said that we suspended our account but didn’t cancel it, thus their system automatically started charging us again! I told them we weren’t signed up for a class, and she said we had to give them our notice to cancel in writing. I wouldn’t trust their business since they’ll charge you without notice and without receipts.

My 10 year old daughter really enjoys her ninja class. She has moved about throughout the schedule of classes, days, and times over the past year and a half. What we really love is the Friday morning class and we are so happy they have that option. We appreciate that in the summer we can choose to do a week long camp in place of the weekly classes. It frees up time to travel and still have our membership and gym time. Update: I’d also like to add that attending this gym helped my daughter overcome her separation anxiety that she developed during quarantine. With such a great staff she really felt safe and cared for, Giving me the opportunity to step away for a little breather.

A great place for the entire family, with phenomenal staff and management. My kids and I started classes back in January 2020. My kids had been in gymnastics but they didn’t care for the strict structure and wanted something different to help them develop their strength, agility, and skills for outdoor adventures like rock climbing and skiing. After trying the Parkour, Gymnastics, and Ninja classes at F&T, my kids decided they loved the Ninja classes most. I couldn’t resist and began taking Adult Ninja classes too, which were an excellent way to regain my strength and agility after recently having my fourth child. Then Covid happened and, while it kept us away for a bit, the manager and owner of F&T did a fantastic job working to keep the business open and safe. Once we did return, my kids jumped right back in and have loved attending ever since.

The gym offers flexibility during sports seasons so I can freeze one kid or another’s account for a month, I can switch class days and times when necessary, and during summer vacation, they offer all sorts of camps and scheduling alternatives. The flexibility in scheduling is what has really made the membership cost of this gym most valuable to us. I am never wasting money due to scheduling conflicts because we can always makeup a class or just freeze an count for a month.

A few months ago, I became aware of an opportunity to start coaching at F&T, to help coach and redevelop their toddler program, Little Ninja. Since coaching, I have gotten to know the staff and management very well, and I just want to say that they are wonderful and so passionate about this unique facility. They are constantly working to make it better, actively listening to feedback and striving to make it the best, safest, and funnest experience. As an employee - A great place to work! As a parent - An excellent gym to have my kids be a part of!

We love Flip & Twist! My boys have been taking ninja classes here for 2 years now and they absolutely love it. Every week they are counting down until it's time to go. Most of the coaches are really good at challenging the kids and giving tips at how they can improve. Plus it's a safe environment for them to get rid of some energy! What kids don't like climbing and jumping off of things? At least here there is a soft spot to land.

I have taken my kids here for the last 2 years and they LOVE it! It is awesome to see what they have been able to learn and how much improvement they have shown. Both of them take Ninja classes. We are always excited when they get to expand and build new things for the kiddos to do.

We’ve also done my youngest’s birthday and it was great! The kids loved being able to run around and do all the fun things that they offer! It was great having one of the staff there to conduct the activities.

First, the staff at Flip & Twist is super friendly and welcoming! All of the front desk ladies are amazing to talk to and super helpful! I will say that I have seen a change in quality of classes between the summer months and the winter months. The summer months most of the adult caches are home with their kids and so teenagers are mostly the coaches. Since this swap I've noticed that it has been less structured classes and a lot more standing around. I loved that when the adult coaches ran the classes everything was a circuit, so my kid was always moving! The kids would complete 2 or 3 obstacles before returning to the skill that the coach is assisting with. Now my kid will stand in line for a couple minutes doing nothing waiting for his turn. For this reason I'm giving it 3 stars because of the shift in quality of classes. Although I think this is a super easy fix to make! Hope this doesn't offend anyone, just my honest review after waiting until the middle of the summer to see if things improve. Thanks!

It’s a fun place for my kids. The front desk ladies are so nice and helpful. My only complaint is one of the teachers (I think his name is Carter) literally does nothing during class. My kids started in his class and I moved them both out because these classes are expensive and I want them learning new things. He does maybe one activity at the beginning and then just sits there and looks like he’s going to fall asleep. Please find a teacher that wants to be there! Jose is amazing and so is Chase. They push the kids and are keeping the kids active for the full class period.
