After hitting a plateau going to Planet Fitness and with encouragement from my brother to go to a “real gym” I visited Fuel Fitness.
I did a “free trial” and went a few times with my brother. Then I get an email about their Black Friday special and bought a year membership. I have made more gains in the last month working out there than I have the previous 6 months at Planet. The selection of equipment there is phenomenal!
Chad the manager greeted me by name on my second visit and I had never met him before.
He always asks how I am doing and goes out of his way to make people feel comfortable at Fuel. Today I came in after work and then after realizing I didn’t throw shorts in my bag I was headed home and he asked how I was as I was about to leave and I told him I forgot my shorts, he asked what size I was and then grabbed me a pair of their Fuel Nike shorts. That was going above and beyond when he didn’t have to. He is doing an amazing job and definitely understands how to manage take care of the customer.
If I could give Chad and Fuel Fitness 10 stars instead of 5 I definitely would!

This gym is one of the worst gyms, I have been too. Even Planet Fitness might be better. I ask for an item then they have to go get it in the back and the worker doesnt come out of his office for another 15 minutes and when he comes back , I dont need the product. And theres a group of guys sitting around just talking while sitting down on the machines and the same worker doesnt do anything about it since, He is friends with the members who are doing this. Additionally, Most of the members just leave their weights out on bench/squat/ leaving their bars everywhere. Just a messy gym where they dont really enforce their own rules. Steam shower is cool though. Wouldnt Reccomend this gym at all. Cancelled my membership after a month

Cancelling membership after only a month. Full of highschool age kids who goof off in the afternoons. They leave their personal items scattered through the cables area and hog multiple machines while talking and laughing in a large group. Today, two chased each other across the gym and jumped over a bench. They’re extremely loud and obnoxious and create a hazard to those lifting around them. They’re going to get someone injured. The younger gentlemen that works in the evening is friends with this group so it does not get addressed.

Incredible gym. Better than it was a few years ago and better than anything else in the area. The weight training is awesome and they have everything you could ever want. The leg training here is especially good and if you're a gym freak, you know that's where a lot of places suffer. The multiple different hack squats with different angles, the squat press (not just a regular leg press), and the v-squat really impressed me. And they now have 5 squat racks and even specialty bars! Highly recommended

I had signed up at this gym when it first opened and due to financial reasons had to leave I am now very happily coming back due to the fact that they still offer great prices and have a great environment to work out in but they also do not Force the mask propaganda down your throat. I cannot say enough excellent things about Fuel Fitness in CDA! The owner and staff are always kind and professional and they foster a very positive environment to increase your fitness. There are a myriad of classes, so no matter what your comfort level and interest, they have something for everyone. It is also the cleanest gym I have ever been to and their equipment is top of the line with no piece left out. To top it off, they have an extremely reasonable monthly rate.

If it wasn’t for the daycare I would have stopped coming here awhile ago. I don’t get to go to often but when I do there is always an issue with my membership. I was charged late fees after signing up for automatic payments even after the lady told me it said it was automatic on my account... makes no sense? Also my son was put on for automatic payments and his got taken off as well. Another issue I had was when I scanned my membership card a completely different account showed up, some girl named Jennifer. I feel like they have a lot of improving to do. The staff are all very friendly but one. She’s lucky I don’t remember her name just that she’s thicker then the rest. The daycare ladies have been nothing but amazing to me and take excellent care of my little one. I Wish I could give 5 stars to the daycare ladies.

I joined a few months ago, great customer service; loved the layout and student membership option. I was never giving any copy or record of my forms or membership, which I thought was weird. Never received any copy of terms of membership outside of what I read the day I signed up. I went for about 3 months, probably less than 20 times overall and as the weather warmed I went less and less. For the last 3 months I haven't used my membership and kept forgetting to go in and cancel, entirely my fault. I went in last week and asked to cancel, didn't ask for a refund for any months not used, nothing. I knew I wouldn't be using it next month either and asked if I canceled that day if I would be charged for next month's. The girl assured me I would not be and gave me a form to sign. As I looked over the form it wanted initials next to a piece that said something about a 30 day cancelation notice. I asked the girl if I initialed next to it if she was sure I would not be charged for next month’s. She again assured me that since I paid for this month’s I would not be charged again and we had a detailed conversation about how I could still come in for the rest of this month because I had paid for it, but I would not be able to in July. This morning I received a call from a lady at Fuel Fitness telling me my membership was cancelled, but because I did not give the 30 day notice in time I would still be charged for next month. I was floored that I had had such a long conversation this with one employee, just to be told the opposite by another. She was adamant that that was the process, the girl was wrong, and that I initialed next to it acknowledging it. Even though she knew I was upset there was no offer to help me with this further, just accept it and get off the phone. Like I said, I never received any material on my membership to take with me. There was no way for me to know I needed to cancel 30 days before my next payment outside of the information I was told in person the day of. It was not conveyed to me and I signed a form with misinformation. I had put on my form that even though I was cancelling I would recommend Fuel to people and would think of coming back in the future. This is no longer the case. Unless this is resolved my opinion and review will not be changed, this interaction has left a bad taste in my mouth for this company.

I joined Fuel back in January and I had informed them I would be moving for school in August and therefore I didn’t know if I could commit to a year contract. Now it’s August and I called in to cancel due to me moving and Chad was nothing but so reasonable and so nice! He understood and was so happy to have me for the time I was going there. Fuel is 100% amazing! They offer classes that don’t cost extra and everyone is so nice when ever I have gone in! I’m usually nothing but self conscious when I go to the gym but Fuel has such a warm and happy environment! In 2 years when I move back I will definitely be going back!!! I’m so sad I have to the leave the Fuel family for a little bit!
