Might seem silly to leave a poor review over, but this is how businesses hear feedback. It was enough to throw a wrench in my morning and make me late for work by causing me to go all the way back home to change out of gym attire into work attire instead of changing at the gym.

Love the fact that it has speed bag (needs a little air). Smaller than some of the other locations, ceiling a little low for doing muscle ups (I almost put myself through it 🤦🏽‍♂️lol) but yea besides that I like it and it isn't very crowded.

It's been years since I've been at the gym so being able to sign up online was an awesome convenience not only that but I was able to go in the next day to obtain my key card and the girl that helped me out was super friendly. I wish that all of your locations had a speed bag because that was 80% of the reason I signed back up with you guys so it was unfortunate to see they took the speed bag out of the State Street location luckily there's still one here at the Fairview location 🫠

What a treat to sign up for fitness factory with two delightful staff Alyssa and Emily Friendly, helpful, charming and warm they made us feel instantly at home The gym is spacious and well equipped. We were able to sign up for a month while here on holiday at a very reasonable rate. Top marks to Emily and Alyssa for their cheerful dispositions and personable service. A year after canceling, still being charged. After 3 different managers tell me, 2 in email that I can send to anyone who asks… with them saying “don’t worry, now it’s for real and you won’t have anymore charges and we waved the fees (that weren’t even mine in the first place) and you’re good to go…” then STILL CHARGES. How do I get 4 people to cancel my membership… yet still get charged? Be careful

Have a membership at the YMCA. Still have that over priced monster just for the pool and supervised kid care...But I prefer my "little gym" (IFF) I go very late at night after work. Have always felt safe and comfortable. Love the Cole location. I really like the layout at Cole. The bathroom/locker rooms are always clean.. which I appreciate. I am closer to the State location. Love the "midnight gym rats" IFF members at State location. Non judgemental sweaty folks just putting in the grind. Only down side to State location.. always smells like over cooked rames. But nothing an air freshener can't fix right?!?!

Perfect little gym.

Visiting from out of town and their guest pass is the perfect price, just have to make sure you go while the staff is there, check their hours if plan on visiting.

Plenty of equipment for every type of lifter. Plenty of cardio equipment.

I'll be back next time I'm out this way.

They updated all the cardio machines with no warning. Which I was excited to see (you can log in to your Hulu and Netflix account and stuff), but then the elliptical felt all weird and the touch screen is not as easy to use as I anticipated. Don’t really feel like getting a software engineering degree right now to figure it out. Kind of upset enough to just switch gyms tbh 😫. Crunch is closer to my house anyways

Having had the pleasure of designing a couple of these facilities, what I can sum up for all those considering a new workout location... these guys care about quality spaces, quality equipment, good layouts, lots of opportunity, care about the user experience, and simply put... a cool place to be a member of!!! This review will be broken down into two parts the pros and the cons. As you can see I gave it five stars so in my opinion the pros far outweighs any cons of this facility has.
Pro
(1) Equipment at the facility is in very good shape and there is a nice variety of things for both resistance training and cardiovascular training.

(2) Open 24 hours. While the gym is not staffed 24 hours a day as a member you have access to the gym to exercise whenever you would like.

(3) Clean locker rooms with private showers. The men’s locker room is small yet sufficient for the volume of clients that are usually in gym.

(4) Unbeatable price. For only $15 a month you have full access the gym 24 hours a day.

Overall this is a great gym to workout in. They may not have everything but, they have more than enough for most people.

IFF is a gem. I hate that I didn't happen upon it soon for my gym needs. It has EVERYTHING, it's clean, and it's accessible. I was quickly signed up with zero fuss and was able to make myself comfortable in my workouts right away. I'll recommend this gym to everyone especially people who are new to working out so they're not overwhelmed by the commercial corporate style monstrosities they call gyms these days. Look no further for a great fitness experience.

Just signed up and have been twice. Joined because it's close to home and the price is good. So far not very busy / crowded. The equipment is clean and in new condition. My 1 complaint so far is the Air Conditioning is set really cold. Be sure to wear long sleeves or maybe a light jacket.

Small gym, kept clean, usually not busy. Have incline and decline bench, but no regular bench press.

Edit 7/1/17 : they have a regular bench now. I have been an IFF for about a year now and won't be going anywhere else. Really clean and provide free rags for people to wipe machines down.

Normally, the word gym gives me a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, not due to anything in larticular about the work, but instead about the environment. I'm no stranger to gyms, but the most common cause of reluctance is how busy it is. I can say without a doubt that this gym (on fairview) is by far the best I've been to. I'm not a show off in any way, and I hate working out in front of people, but there is literally almost nobody there. Understandably, the gym is small and lacks numbers in terms of equipment, but it really doesnt even make a difference. I look forward to going back every day. It is also clean, tidy, and the staff are friendly!

If you drop a weight the staff will yell at you as well as the owners. They're excuse is that it wears the equipment out. However, members pay a yearly fee for equipment maintenance... so what's the issue? If it were consistent dropping of weights I would understand however, a first time offence? I don't think so will not be returning to this gym transferring to another gym.

This is a great gym!! Clean, low cost, great customer service, no contract, and all the equipment you could ever need to get in a great workout! This gym is pretty much everything you would want in a gym, clean facilities, versatile, up-to-date equipment, attentive staff, top-notch classes, etc.. etc..

for about half what most other gyms charge for the same (or less!!).

There's several locations in Boise, I've worked out in 2 of them... the convenience couldn't be better.. 24 hr. access with a card key, and in the almost 6 months that I've been with this gym, I haven't encountered a single issue. I am a late night user, so can't personally attest to the middle of the day workout experience, but I have been in the gym at that time, and everything seemed... vigorously apace and well... what you'd want in a gym.

I love going to this gym. As an ex athlete that is now 41 It was time to get back into shape. I was a new years resolution person, joining and going to IFF has been great. It has all I need to get back into shape, friendly staff and very clean. If you want to do it this is the place there is not a bunch of meat heads walking around and screaming. I found others like myself that just want to be able to hit their goals with no intimidation.

Horrible customer service. The staff are not helpful and somewhat rude. I signed up for a year membership and on my online account it says that auto renew was off. My year came up last month but I was charged for this month. I called and was told that I have to go into the gym and sign papers to cancel my membership and since you have to give 30 days notice to cancel I will not get this last payment refunded.

My husband and I just signed up at the Boise location where we received great service and communication of fees. I have to say that I love that the gym posts their membership fees up-front on the website and on the counter when entering the door -- I think it's "skeevy" for a gym to make you contact them or walk in to discuss a contract price. I know at bigger gyms like Axiom, membership fees vary from $10/month to $35/month, which lead to being stuck in long contracts and what I feel is bad-car-salesman-like business. I just got sick of the "gym contract game" and IFF was an excellent solution.

I almost do not want to truly state how much I love this gym because I do not want it to always be crowded and be a well kept secret. Overall, my husband and I are very happy with our membership at IFF.

I just want to let you know that I'm very disappointed in your customer service. When my mom got the membership about 2 months ago, she was told that she can have someone take her card and go to the gym every now and then just as long as it doesn't happen very often. This morning, she gave me the card since I wanted to work out. Keep in mind that we haven't used this facility at all yet. I go to the gym, sign in, and the owner questions if my name is my mom's name. I told him no and he accused me of trying to sneak in. He then proceeds to kick me out of the gym and tells me that he would want to have me as a customer. If the owner just told me that I was mistaken, and if he let me use the facility just this once, maybe I would consider a membership here. But after basically being accused of robbing the facility, I definitely won't be going there ever again and I am 100% sure that my mom will cancel next month. You just lost a customer and many others when I post this everywhere I can. By the way, this happened at about 10 a.m. this morning at the gym on Fairview. I will finish by saying this, I could do a better job at customer service than the owner of that gym and I'm 19 years old.
