Yall need to note not advertise "50% off drinks with a black card membership!!" Because it's a lie. You only mark down water and Gatorade. But you offer several different energy drinks, protein drinks, things that would make sense to have at the gym. But once you grab the drink, and go to pay, it's "oh, that drink is full price."
What???? I thought I paid extra every month and one of the benefits is supposed to be half priced drinks??
Way to ruin someone's workout.

Update: the gym recently replaced it's cardio equipment with new Matrix machines. In particular the elliptical is terrible, I maxed out the resistance and it felt like nothing was happening. A normal workout on the old machine would net me 1000 calories burned in 45 minutes, it took 70 minutes to achieve the equivalent workout, not good. When I gave feedback to the staff at the front desk, instead of receiving my feedback, she proceeded to let me know there was nothing that could be done because of corporate and tried to shut me down immediately. I asked her to at least share the feedback with the manager and she said she would, we shall see. Either way, the conversation ended with her saying I was free to cancel my membership! So that's what I'll do!

Planet Fitness moved the machines out of the 30 Min Express room and put them in the middle of the rest of the gym. 😒 Super disappointing. The reason I chose that gym was because of that room. It’s quiet, separated from the rest of the gym, and it’s mostly women who work out in it. I was really loving it until now. They put Total Gym body weight equipment in there instead. If I wanted to work out on a Total Gym, I’d buy one for my house. 🙄

They are zenophobic and hateful. Walked in as a new arrival to the community as a black card member. Had jeans on and exercise shorts on underneath. Was harrassed at the counter and not even allowed to check in first, "You're not allowed to wear jeans and exercise." "Oh thats and odd thing to say dont you have changing rooms?" Id get it if I were at machine and not the desk. Id also been there the night before, they have changing rooms. He then doubled down, "No its not an odd thing to say". "Well considering im at the desk and not a machine and you have a changing room. You sure are making a lot of assumptions." So i left. Im cancelling and going elsewhere byyyyyyyyeeeee

Compared to the BS that apparently goes on in other locations, this is a breath of fresh air. People are normal. It's never too crowded when I go early to mid morning, the staff are chill, and I've only seen men going in the men's bathroom and women in the women's so that nice. Nobody's making videos and acting like it's their own house. And nobody acts like they're tough. So I'm satisfied.

This hands down, and unexpectedly, the best Planet Fitness I have ever been to. The wide range of equipment (some machines have two of the same kind) makes for a great workout that rivals the selection of other gyms in the area . The space is enormous so no machines are close together, giving everyone ample space to workout instead of on top of each other. In addition when it’s busy it’s still easy to get a good workout in because of the amount of machines. The gym is always clean, I’ve never noticed broken equipment, and friendly staff with convenient hours. 10/10

Pf closes early on Friday which is totally fine however, They started shutting off lights at 9:43. People had 15 minutes to compete there workouts. Definitely felt them pushing out there members when members are the only reason the lights are not on. This is not my home gym and after witnessing this I’m glad it’s not. My PF staff walks around to the members and lets them know how much time they have. Shutting off the lights is completely unprofessional.

Gets super busy. They need to enforce a no photo/video in the locker room rule. They need some Peleton/Matrix/Spinning style bikes- only have the ones with the giant seats. Really need a FitBench, free-weights, and mats where the 30minute workout room is- it’s a waste of space since that area is hardly used.

I cancelled this membership over a year ago. They didn’t process it kept billing I sent emails still billing I finally speak to their rude as hell GM chance who put in writing he would resolve some issue so I could pay the remaining balance and it would be resolved he never did SMS today when I called again after 3 months he was rude and denied what was in writing I will be pushing legal action. So I just want to say I thought and I'm pretty sure I did post this review Maybe 2ish months ago and it either got deleted by Google or somehow I deleted it or didn't post it. But basically what I said was the night stuff here are so awesome the bald gentleman at the front desk is amazing at greeting and informing and Miguel the gentleman in charge of taking care of the locker rooms and the bathrooms genuinely takes pride in his work you can tell just by how clean it is it just talking to the guy for a minute he is so nice and he cleaned a shower out for me without me even asking because he is just nice the people here are just nice good folk and they keep the gym so much cleaner than the one on Overland which I'm so grateful for because the one on Overland has nice people too but I would say not as hard work and unfortunately as these good folk are I got to say special shout out to Miguel he's the man in charge of keeping the locker rooms clean around Monday nights Tuesday nights Wednesday nights whenever I go on he is so legit whatever he's being paid it needs to be a lot a lot a lot more ASAP because he is so so good at his job and so proud in his work you can just tell.

I just think it's so super safe how they flash or just completely turn off the lights in either the gym or the locker rooms or both 20-30 minutes before closing. Like yeah it really speeds up my process when I can't see what I'm doing. Thank you so much. I'm always out before close but I could always be out sooner if I could see. I've really enjoyed this gym after a few months of going there. It's always clean, the staff is friendly, and there is plenty of equipment even during busy hours. The only downsides I've found are that they have smith machines instead of barbells and the dumbbells max at 75lbs. I've been to Idaho Fitness Factory before. It was much smaller and everyone seemed to know each other pretty well. Planet Fitness is the opposite, but I like it. Everyone I've spoken with has been nice, but it's also easy to just put my headphones in and stick to myself there.

I haven't had a workout routine since I was a teenager. I've tried getting back into it multiple times throughout the years but either the culture of the gyms or the staff would always put me off and when I'm already looking for any reason to continue to be fat and lazy those things meant I was coming back. Planet Fitness has given me 0 excuses to leave. The staff are hands off but very friendly if you do need help with something. The gym is clean and equipment well maintained. Membership is relatively cheap. I've been going for over a month and don't plan on stopping.

Well; I have visited many planets fitness but; the one on Milwaukee has variety of equipments, always pretty much clean; It has several showers clean as well. It is well located among mayor's streets and businesses. The manager of this location is very customer service oriented with a mellow, concise, problem solver attitude he always find the way to help you; unfortunately; I can't pronounce his name It is very long but let me call him the Viking(Redish and built up).

Loved going here, however they said that they had changed the hours due to covid for the late night weekends, which is usually the time I like working out, had to cancel my membership to go to another fitness center to be able to work out, every time I ask about it they say they're going to meet on it bring back full 24 hour / 7 days a week service, many or most of the other planet fitnesses outside of the Idaho area have already brought weekend hours to 24 hours a long time ago, years? I'm guessing here it must be hard to find people that will work the weekends for them? Regardless of whether they bring the old hourly schedule back or not, Planet Fitness still rules and always will!

I come after work every evening. Last week I had a complaint about a treadmil. The manager stopped what they were doing, talked to me about it, asked if I could show them the problem, and fixed it. I love PF... always clean and friendly. I just use my membership for showering while traveling. The handicapped shower stall at this location was a little scary though. The bench was on an angle, making me feel like I was going to slide forward and fall off of it the whole time. The "adjustable" shower head was locked in up high... it should at least be locked in low so people who can't stand up can reach it. The guy at the front desk showed such patience helping a sort of aggressive customer. Off day, but I would still recommend.

Staff is good at greeting and saying good bye but the atmosphere is terrible. Gawking and creeping, lots of really uncomfortable behaviors are allowed, often a big group of men openly staring at women who are trying to workout or people dressed in ridiculous, attention-seeking outfits standing around waiting to be noticed. Not really a place for serious workouts, more of a meat market for people looking for external validation. I have to go in and ignore people, listen to music and look at the floor so I don't notice all the nasties watching my every move like a drooling dog. Overcrowded, waiting in line for equipment, and typically filthy. It's uncomfortable to book and use the tanning, massage, and red light therapy, over-policed and confrontational. It's cheap if that's what you're looking for but with cheap comes a lot of poor behaviors.

There's plenty of other gyms to use in the area. Ill likely end up going back to axiom or start using my crunch membership I get for free through work. I tried planet fitness for a few years leaving Axiom and really disappointed in the services. No one's ever at the front desk during peak hours. And even on off hours it's hit and miss getting someone to use the spa. I'm confused why you don't just have members sign in themselves to start machines. Staff can add water or thorough clean when they get time. I'm not sure the trade off for spa services beats Axiom classes. Plus I can just tan at crunch. If this happens again I'm definitely cancelling. I'm confused how you can leave a whole gym. Products. Computers. Unstaffed during your peak time. Happened yet again at 6am on a weekday. I worked out watching the front desk for 15-20 minutes. Waited at desk for another 5-10. Where are you? Maybe if your tanning lotions start disappearing and you wake up will it be too late and lost revenue. If no one's there to ring people up it's free I'm assuming?

Apparently, other members I talked to said the employee was working out. Super irritating because I've seen this employee put up the spa closed sign during peak hours (right after checking me in) to go walk around and chat. I get if he's trying to sell training but you need front desk coverage. Your shift change staff should be cleaning and restocking at end of shift so no need to walk around. Thx!

The worst gym I've ever experienced! Lazy employees and inept management seem to be a common factor between all planet fitness "clubs". Highly recommend looking into an actual gym that is open 24/7 with trainers and resources that will support you reaching your fitness goals. The lack of experienced trainers and staff is an ongoing issue thanks to the impassive management at both the local and corporate level. If the gym wants to innovate and improve, it needs new management, period.

I've been going here for about 6 months, and for whatever reason, easily the last month the women's locker room has been gross. Toilet paper everywhere, the toilets have blood and poop on them (you'll see the same spot in the toilet for well over a week), and the showers have hair clumps, toilet paper and are visibly gross.
Another lady warned me today about using the showers after she saw me trying to find the best-looking one, telling me that she got terrible athletes foot from the showers. I know, because I have it from their showers as well. The picture with the shower that has the large chunk of hair- has been like this going on 2 weeks. A lot of people use their locker rooms, and they need to be swept and disinfected far more often than they are. We shouldn't be seeing the same trash and spots for days or weeks.

Will never not be shocked by the status of the showers. From the black mold to the soap scum, it's truly a bacterial wonder. The gym is always clean, locker rooms are clean, even the actual bathrooms aren't bad. But these showers will have the same spots on them for weeks before getting wiped down. The one with the conditioner on the wall has been like this for an entire week and a half. The toilet paper was a nice addition this time around. The light in one of the showers has been out for at least the last month.
These showers have to be cleaned at the very least once a week. This is disgusting.

The employees also seem to have plenty of time to do so, seeing as I'm rarely greeted and they seem to buy too busy talking with each other or on their phones. Surely, there is one time during everyone's shift they could do a clean up of bathrooms and showers.

If you like hot showers, you might get that for 90 seconds. Water temperature gets tepid quickly, even when there's nobody else showering. Also the alcoves in the showers (where you put soap and bottles) prove that the area isn't cleaned frequently.

Hours of operation are ridiculous, You don’t need staff there, they just stand around up front talking while paper towel dispensers are out and guest are cleaning.
Plus it smells terrible of gym sweat and a fan just blows it around in circulation. 🤮 I am canceling my membership today.

Tried another chain gym in the area for 2 months because I wanted more free weight options. The gym equipment was filthy and poorly maintained. PF is always clean and equipment well maintained for half the price. Equipment is also so well spaced even when it's packed you feel like you have space. Love PF!

I went into the gym to start a membership but while completing the information I put in my credit card information and they also wanted checking information. I’m sorry but why do you need both. One is enough. The last time I set something up that took both information I ended up getting double charged. I’m not fighting that battle again. Plus the lady at the front counter was rude as heck.

Your explanation is not enough. Because I was using my debit card and if I gave you my checking information and things were compromised or the card was lost I would stop everything being taken from my accounts. I work in an industry that keeps a card on file and we don’t take second information late fees are just something out there that happen for some.

Plus when I asked the person at the counter I. The club she offered no explanation to me for this all she did was shrug me off and acted like me as a guest/customer it or I was not important.

This gym has everything you need at such a low cost. You can check in with your phone, and my favorite part about that is it tells you how busy the gym is whenever you open the app. Such a nice feature to have especially for those (like myself) who have high anxiety in a packed gym. Front desk is a bit unhelpful, but it’s a cheap membership for a good gym.

It's an ok gym. Very dirty, especially the bathrooms. Just a suggestion, deep clean your gym when you close. Not too many planet fitness in the area. Do better!

The staff was very friendly the place is very clean they have a lot of machines and variety whether you want to do strength training or cardio they have it there available they have televisions you can watch they have Wi-Fi if you upgrade and get the black card then there's a spa with hydro massage chairs shiatsu massage chairs tanning booths it's a very large facility so you're not on top of each other overall a great environment to get your sweat on.

This location definitely doesn't call out the "lunks". Nice I get to still wear my small tank, carry my gallon water and bag full of gym supplies. Honestly I couldn't care about that.... The staff is unapproachable, they stand around and act like you're a burden. I miss the one on state street from years back.

My only con is that it doesn't have free weights for squats and deadlifts and chest press. But it has everything else. It is super clean, nice machines. Multiple of the same type of machine. The black card is worth it with the tanning and massage chairs.

It saddens me to write this review! I really would like to be glowing and positive, but from my understanding, this is the only way the owners of the gym will see feedback.

I’ve been a member at this location for several years. The staff used to be so friendly, they were constantly cleaning and kept the gym in top shape.

Currently, the bathrooms are always a mess, the equipment tends to lean on the dirty side and the staff is not as warm and welcoming.

I do hope to see this location return to what it once was. Having a clean gym is pretty important, please step it up Planet Fitness. This gym used to be pretty darn amazing !

FANTASTIC gym. I previously was a member of IFF and did not like it because the environment felt very judgmental. I feel extremely comfortable coming to this gym and am so glad I switched!

Joined this location and then recently moved to Reno. Had to have unexpected surgery and am trying to cancel my membership because I am going to be in a nursing/rehab center for a while. No one will give me the number I need to change my location. People on the phone here were rude as if I was lying. My husband took a signed letter into the Reno location with a photo of me holding it. They wouldn't do it. He had to go back on the road and with everything going on with my health didn't have time to go stand in line at the post office to send a certified letter. It's all about greed and keeping up higher member numbers. This place is horrible.

The weekend morning staff is the rudest, most straight faced people I have ever come across at planet fitness. They don't offer help, seem annoyed if you ask them anything. I quit saying hello a long time I never see any cleaning being done, the machines need oil badly. The maintenance is horrible and non existing. I have traveled enough to know how these gyms should be taken care of, Boise has missed the mark.
It's April 2nd and now 3 hydro beds are broke, only 2 bikes available, the others are just gone. What's to discuss, it gets worse and worse.

I cancelled my membership in September and it's the end of December and I'm still be charged. I have called several times and I keep getting the run around with them saying they will contact corporate and refund my money.
