Revel Movement is one of the best environments for getting to just be yourself, feel good, and do badass things. The owner made some very specific accommodations for me to have access to classes, which I really appreciated. Everyone is welcoming and lovely and meets you where you’re at, helping you grow and have a great, safe time on the way. I especially loved pole classes with Ana and Emily and Silks classes with Casey, but you really can’t go wrong. They even have student showcases so you can do a performance if you want something to work towards. Can’t say enough good things about this epic place.

I found revel when looking for a new hobby. I had never done anything in the aerial world before. Fast forward 4 years and I’ve now tried and fallen in love with dance, Lyra, hammocks and pole dancing. This is a wonderful place to try something new or dive into a passion. Instructors are so knowledgeable and deeply caring. Creative expression and safety are always prioritized.

I really enjoy the teaching style and structure of the pole program at Revel. Classes offer a wide variety of moves for the level, with different progressions to learn and feel confident in each move. Class time is always well managed, allowing for trying tricks on both sides, as well as a variety of tricks so I don't feel like I am over-training through repetitive motion. I enjoy their warm-ups that have conditioning that doesn't wear me out before class even starts, and I am also glad there is always time for a cool down. They have a lot of different class packages, memberships, and a month to month option, so I don't feel pressured or locked into a membership and I have flexibility for my class purchases depending on the month. I have been lucky enough to be able to come back to this space many times since 2015. Highly recommended; and if you are a poler from out of town, don't miss checking this space out!

Revel is definitely the best pole & aerial studio in the valley. They also offer other styles of dance, yoga, and flexibility classes that are wonderful! The instructors are amazing and they make everyone feel welcome and safe, whether it's your first class or you've been dancing for a long time. If you're thinking about taking a class, I highly recommend it!

I've been coming here for years now, through multiple changes both with this business and myself personally. Started from pretty clueless to now being confident and comfortable on a variety of apparatus and have gotten better at movement in general. It's a super encouraging environment and the instructors are all invested in their students, highly recommended. Great option to tie fitness to a fun activity with a schedule to keep you on track.

So grateful for Ophidia!! As an ex-gymnast who has struggle for over 10 years to find exercises/activities that keep me engaged and excited - I have finally found that in pole. All the instructors are kind, patient, supportive, and inclusive!

Beautiful, inclusive, fun studio in Boise. When I’m in town to visit my parents I always make it a point to visit. They made my friends feel welcome when they took their first ever aerials class here, I always recommend Ophidia to my Boise peeps since I was born and raised there!

I've been coming here for about 6 months now and could not be more pleased with the overwhelming value of my experiences here. The studio owner, Emilie, has cultivated an unparalleled staff in terms of experience, skills and genuine care for their students, especially Emilie herself. Her desire to make this studio a safe and fun place to learn and grow for ALL people from all different walks of life in circus performing and pole arts truly shines through. It is hard work doing what these professionals do, day in and day out, and ever since I 1st walked through their door, they have inspired me with their kindness, inclusivity, artistry and athleticism.

I have been coming to this studio for nearly 2 years and have received nothing but support from both the instructors and the students - everybody celebrates your accomplishments, no matter how big or small. This is an amazing place which has much to offer in terms of aerial, pole, dance and overall body positivity.

I’ve been going to this studio for over a year. It’s wonderful. Recent one star reviews are coming from random people on IG who didn’t like something the owner posted. None of them attend the studio and therefore cannot provide an accurate or meaningful review.

Every week, I look forward to attending a lyra class at Ophidia. After graduating from BSU, I found myself with a lot of free time, and unsure of what to do with it. I reflected on what used to make me happy, and how I spent my free time. I did gymnastics for 10 years and pole vault for three, and wanted an activity that was just as rewarding and fun. I get bored easily and prefer sports where I'm always learning something new. I've been taking classes for over a year now, and have gotten stronger and better at lyra with each class I attend. I've never felt less judged and more welcome in a place in Boise than here. The instructors are kind, and they truly allow you to work at your own pace. There's never judgement on skill level, not wanting to try a skill, taking breaks, or asking an absurd amount of questions (which I do quite often). Every time I take a class, I come home feeling happier and fulfilled.

In my 20 years in public work i never have this experienced. To the person who was in charge today at this place I do not know your name, but I wonder if you can sleep at night, how rude you were to me, I just wish that you had more humanity and respect for public service.

I've taken some aerial silk classes here and it is a ton of fun and a great workout! I was a little worried I would be in over my head but the beginner class was perfect to just walk in and start. By the end of it I was able to do a lot more things than I would have thought possible!

I would definitely take more classes here. I would also recommend them for small groups To go together or for a whole private party, I think it would be a hit for bachelorette (or bachelor's) parties.

Suchen is the best ❤️

Edit: Ok I wrote that quite a while ago not really expecting anyone to read it, but it’s true! And having been with the studio through many changes I can also say that Emilie is an amazing leader who provides a safe and supportive community for students and instructors.

Ophidia rocks!

If you’re looking for a positive, encouraging, friendly group of athletes that will inspire you to do your best at Pole, Aerial, and life in general then look no further. If you’re waiting for a sign this is it! Come join us for class!

I really appreciate that the studio is still requiring masks & taking covid seriously. I like to be able to workout stress free & just focus on moving my body in new ways instead of worrying if the person next to me is carrying the delta & is going to infect me which in turn will infect the children & babies I care for.
It’s nice to have a place that understands that children can’t be vaccinated yet & our lives outside of the studio also matter. Thanks so much.

Suchen was amazing when she owned this studio, but Emilie is terrible. She has tried charging my account 3 times while it was supposed to be on freeze during COVID. She lost the record of the payment I made last month over the phone because the autopay didn’t come out for whatever reason. I didn’t attend classes for over a month due to a busy schedule, but still made the payment of $115. On top of the monthly charge, they charge you a $5 fee if you don’t make it to a class that you’re signed up for, yet if you don’t sign up at least a week in advance, classes are completely full. I decided to cancel after being here for 4 years on and off and Emilie refuses to issue a refund that she charged to my account this evening. I have been patient up until this point. Sadly, Ophidia has gone from an enjoyable experience to a highly stressful one.

I love this studio! I started taking pole dancing classes by myself and everyone was really nice and I didn't feel out of place at all. I'm not a small woman, by any means, but the instructors are patient and have different variations of things so I wasn't just sitting around, unless I wanted to. I have a blast every time I go. I've also taken the aerial yoga classes and they are really fun.
The only thing that they could improve on would be their high prices. It does help that they occasionally have sales, so sign up for their newsletter and keep an eye on Groupon and LivingSocial deals for these.
This place is full of very nice and nonjudgmental people and I will definitely go back again!
