I've been a member since it was still ANYTIME FITNESS. I can confidently say, it's done nothing but improve under the new management. I recently returned after a hiatus, and the place looked and smelled clean, cared for well. Made me feel validated in my choice to support the business 🙂🐈‍⬛️

On the + side---Open 24/7 with no catches unlike some other gyms in Pocatello or chubbuck that claim to be open 24/7....if you plan on going here, don't be "that person" who doesn't wipe the equipment down after use, or doesn't re rack their weights, go to gold's if you're that lazy.

We were going to this gym and they are charging an arm and a leg for the membership when you can go to planet fitness and get the same workout and tanning for a lot less. I’ve went in often and have only seen management maybe once. Super unprofessional and charged extra fees after we turned in the key fobs. I’d suggest going to a cleaner, more professional gym.

Great gym but has gone down hill for cleaning..lots of dust on equipment and the floors are not sanitized like the previous owner used to do....I hope they can turn this around and clean the equipment more often and sanitize the floors...pay more attention to the mirrors as well...not clean...

Loving the new gym, transition seemed to go fairly smooth from the previous gym at least from a member standpoint. New owners are doing a great job. Manager is very Friendly and the gym is incredibly clean. Glad new owners came in and that I still have the access to a true 24 hour gym.

Just recently moved to Pocatello and was looking for a gym. I tried calling and sending emails but they never responded. I ended up going with Planet Fitness because I was impressed by their facilities and staff.

I've tried to get in touch with these people for two weeks to find out about joining. I did not get a reply to my calls or emails.
If this is how they treat a potential customer then I can only imagine how they treat people once they get them under some sort of contract.

Thomas is a grumpy owner with bad customer service. My friend and I got accused of dropping weights and he threatened to kick us out if we did it again. He wouldn't listen to us to even let us explain ourselves. I feel as though he unfairly targeted me because my membership is registered to another anytime gym. I have always tried to be responsible and respectful in this facility. I have had an anytime membership for approximately 6 years, and this was the last time that I will use this particular gym.

Really enjoyed the facility and workout equipment however, it was difficult to even get a hold of anyone to join. Had to join in Blackfoot after numerous calls and no answer from Chubbuck. First time working out in Chubbuck was great but, I was really looking forward to tanning and couldn’t get the bed to start as it is a different set up than the one in Blackfoot. Tried to get ahold of staff and not to my surprise, no one available. Even though they have staffed hours posted 9 am to 9 pm, they are not there. Disappointed.

Very clean. Limited equipment. No stair stepper. But still a nice place. Only 1 bathroom for men and women. Shower in each so if someone wants to use the restroom while you are showing they can't. 5 Star is they had a stair stepper and dedicated showers.

Have no problem with ANYTIME fitness itself! But the owner of this one was so rude to me I quit using this facility. I was deadlifting and on my last rep my hands slipped off the bar as I was setting it down and he came running from his office to chew me out for being to loud and dropping the bar even though it was an accident. Gym was full of people and he made me feel like an idiot.

I refuse to workout at any other gyms. Anytime has a level a cleanness that you don't often see in a gym. The gym owner Thomas is also one of the nicest people. He is always very willing to answer questions and to help you check your form while lifting. I have been a member here since 2013 and have never looked back. Thank you Anytime for always providing a great place to workout!

Can't join if there is never anyone there to join with. Anytime takes on a new meaning...My wife and I have stopped by during the posted hours 4 times only to find a sign on the door we will return at... 1 and it is now 2... forget it going elsewhere...

I've been coming to this location for a week. The showers have been out of order for this entire time. The shower heads have been bagged off and taped shut. I work out early in the mornings and don't have time to go home to shower before work. There is no excuse for this sort of delay! If this continues, corporate will be receiving a scathing complaint. I should also note that I tried for weeks to sign up at this location, but never received an email or call back.

Update: Nearly three months later, showers are still inoperable and corporate received my complaint, but nothing has been done. I use anytime fitness at other locations and don’t have this problem. I have been using another facility to work out at in Pocatello, but there are times when that other place doesn’t work for my schedule and I have to use anytime fitness here. Also, If you enjoy being abused and aggressively yelled at by the owner/manager, this place is for you!

I had posted a bad review earlier because of some difficulty getting my membership paid for so I could work out. After finally meeting with the manager the next morning he was much more pleasant. we are all human. I love the Gym, it is very clean which I am sure is a lot of hard work for the manager. This gym is great because I can work out really early in the morning. I am a morning person and love that.

The manager, THOMAS, has a ZERO personality! I got blocked from using this gym. When he finally opened the door. HE actually told me, face to face, I had to work out for a minimum of 1 HOUR before I could shower! One of stupidest statements I have ever heard in the fitness industry. At the age of 74 now, I have been in the fitness industry for around 50 years. Played Racquetball & Squash for 45 years. Have owned 2 gyms. Been a consultant for over 30 years to Nautilus and the racquet club industry. Run over 100 Racquet tournaments. Been working out for decades. This ONE STAR is being nice. The club needs NEW management! I called Anytime Fitness and they actually back this club up. The 2 key words that are missing with this club are; are MANNERS and MANAGEMENT. These are honest statement. Overall, I do like Anytime Fitness clubs. They are a good match for me & my travels. I have been a member of: AMERICAN FITNESS, BALLY'S, GOLD'S & the YMCA. and been in over 300 clubs across the USA and Canada. Regards, John D. Blue

Personally I prefer this gym over the other pocatello options. The Management keeps the place clean and organized and the equipment is just what you need. Honestly I am glad that the manager likes us to treat the gym as our own place.

I'm new to the Pocatello area and am in search of a gym for the next 6 months. I've stopped by the anytime fitness twice during business hours and both times the doors to the building were locked, even the guest entrance. Of course, I've called their number as well, and never got any answer. Apparently they don't want any new business. I'll be looking for a gym elsewhere.
