DO Not Send Your Child To wings center. Unless you want your child to come home with low self-esteem and not confident in their own character. Worse Administrator ever! You get an email about your child. You go in talk to their Unqualified teacher. The administrator comes up tells you a whole different story, a made up story. The teachers don't even know what you're talking about when you ask them. needless to say all of them are liars and their stories never match up. They bully your child if they don't like your child and then they blame your child for everything that goes wrong. Just the other day a teacher told my daughter to shut up for the rest of the day. she's a child, you're working at a daycare! for goodness sakes. You don't know what emotional abuse your child endures during the day until you pick them up. The wings center use to be great! But the last few years they have stop caring about the children.

Our daughter started in the Small Stars class a bit before she turned two. Her listening skills, social skills, balance, strength, and coordination have improved tremendously. Additionally, her confidence has improved and she has learned that she can do hard things if she tries and continues to work toward her goals.
Coach Annika is absolutely wonderful and is the main reason we love gymnastics so much. She is engaging, enthusiastic, energetic and kind. It is evident that she truly loves the work that she does. Our daughter adores her and talks about her daily.
Highly recommend her and Wings Gymnastics to anyone and everyone.

Donβt send your kids here! I went to wings for 3 years and through the coaches and environment I lost my love for gymnastics. The head coach Jesse would take his anger out on the kids by screaming or just straight ignoring us. This environment is not healthy or happy. I truly wish I went somewhere else.

We absolutely love Wings Center Gymnastics.
We had tried many other places prior to attending here and as soon as my girls started classes here, within a month I could see them be able to do things they were unable to master at almost a year somewhere else. Very attentive staff and on top of everything. I honestly donβt know how they do it all!
My eldest is on competition team now and we are very excited to start this journey with Wings! We highly recommend.

Please do not send your children here! I can only speak for the Planet Kid and Recreational and Team gymnastics.
Plant kid is gross, want your kids sick...?! Don't bring them!
Gymnastics is awful. The younger kids bounce around between teachers, because of high turn around. As well as high student to teacher ratio!
Recreation coaches, cna be okay, but they all have thier favorites. Team coaches, will push and push, all while not properly trying your daughter. They too, have favorites.
Another note, if you see alot of girls in bandages, wraps, tape.... that's not a good sign! That means their bodies need rest, not continually being pushed. This is a sport, but regardless of age, they shouldn't be pushed!
Owner... she could care less if you even bring issues to her. She avoids being confronted, good or bad. She is in this to run a business, that is it.
Just please be wise and make the best decision for the your kidos!

I can only speak about the classes for the younger kids - My kid took classes starting at age 2 with parent+me classes and progressed up to the 3-4 y/o classes. Overall, classes were a great way to spend energy and gain some confidence.
Unfortunately, the student to teacher ratio is way too high for the age group (6:1) and the instructors/coaches were a mixed bag. Miss Claire is absolutely wonderful with kids, she seems to actually enjoy being around them and treats them like they're people. Other coaches seemed bored or annoyed and would just stand at a station unengaged from the class.
Kids that are talented are noticed and invited to more advanced classes. However, the kids that aren't naturally talented or are nervous/shy get no actual coaching on how to progress. Ultimately, this is why we chose to not continue classes after the summer session ended.

Our daughter has gone here for almost a year now. Some of the coaches are great (Annika is amazing) and some are not. There Definitely needs to be a smaller kid to teacher ratio for the 3-4 year old class without parents. Iβve watched my daughter ask the coach for help numerous times but she definitely has βfavoritesβ and ignored her until I said something or my daughter safely climbed down/stopped what she was doing and went over to her to be like, I need help please. That happened more than once.
The owner/manager I believe also yelled at my daughter one time because she went to jump on a trampoline before class started and made her cry. I was right there and in the process of grabbing her, there was absolutely no need to yell at a 2 year old. She didnβt even notice the effect that had on my kid. Just walked away. So rude.
My daughter loves gymnastics which is the only reason we kept going. But we are stopping after this summer term and trying to find a more friendly gym.

I went to wings when I was younger so when my daughter was almost two, I wanted her to try it. It is further from our home but I know the quality they offer and the cost is more than reasonable. Coach Katie is amazing and my daughter is doing so well because of her. She is engaged and involved with each child. It makes a difference because my daughter enjoys that attention and praise. Her coordination and her ability to sit and listen is improving weekly, which is a challenge in itself for a 2 year old! I would absolutely recommend wings.

When I was nine, I took gymnastics at this place. The staff is very rude and impolite to children. Every time I made a single tiny mistake, the teacher would punish me. They would either make me sit in a time out spot like a two year old, or make me do hard workouts which always hurt me; since I have some physical problems. They would also forbid me from getting water until the lesson was at least half way over. I learned very few things there, and I was often criticized for being weak; they would also have me suspended from an event for failing a simple trick. This is one of the reasons I am afraid of teachers. π

4 year old enrolled in gymnastics there. Too high of teacher to kid ratio, had a poorly trained teacher who displayed no little to no empathy/care or caution which ultimately caused us to leave there after two significant injuries occurred. Would be cautious about enrolling your child there or just use extreme caution with expectations of staffs abilities. They had no formal process for handling injuries or process improvement. Would expect high level of risk for kids to continue that is what prompted the negative review.

I canβt say enough wonderful things about Wings Gymnastics. The coaches are amazing and really care about all the gymnasts. The are positive with the girls but also push them to be the best they can be. Gymnasts have fun and it shows. I love that you can see everything that happens in the gym with their open floor plan. Itβs the best viewing gym in the valley. You always know what is happening with your gymnast and if you ever have a question, the coaches are more than willing to answer any questions that you have. Wings is amazing and Iβm so happy that we have this gym and these coaches in the valley.

Amazing coaches, who provide an individualized approach to coaching (providing each child with what they work best with), yet emphasizing the team atmosphere and qualities. My girls have learned so much about gymnastics, and life here!

This gym is awful their coaches break USA gymnastics rules, then when you bring it up to supervisors, the response you get is milked for money and then your child gets kicked out. They have NO care or concern for the athlete!!!! Just care about the money. Itβs a disgrace the way they treat athletes, so sad. Just another black eye for a sport that lets coaches abuse power. Donβt go here.

It's okay the children I take love playing there it's just the staff isn't very friendly or doesn't seem happy to be there but luckily they don't go there full time I don't know if they would like it as much if they went full time and also they are always on there phones backs to the kids. I've seen it a few times now

There seems to be some confusion- the Wings Center is the entire building housing all the facilities, whereas Planet Kid is the just the portion where kids can run & climb through various obstacles, walkways & tunnels. My daughter loves this place.

I brought my 2 year old to the Planetkid side of Wings Center on a rainy Sunday afternoon. There is supposed to be a "toddler town" section for children 2 and under to play safely. Unfortunately there were several much older children playing in the area and making it dangerous for my son. I understand that there might be kids in the 3-5 age range playing in there (most likely with a sibling) but these kids were obviously to old and too rowdy for the small kids (easily 8-12 years old). At one point a staff member walked by and their only comment to the older kids was to stop throwing the ball pit balls! I was very disappointed.

We were really excited to start our daughter here for the recreational cheer class, but we are so disappointed. The coaches seem to be - well grumpy. Our daughter gets ignored and the only time the coaches talk to her is when they're telling her that she's doing something wrong. We kept an open mind and we've given them about six weeks, but it's been the same every week and it's getting worse. It was so bad tonight that our daughter left the class in tears and told us that "the coaches don't like anything she does and that she was trying really hard, but they just kept telling her that she was doing everything wrong". The other thing that upsets us is that the coaches don't seem to talk to the parents at all, even on our daughter's first day. When I tried to talk to her coach she seemed to be annoyed that I approached her and she just kept saying over and over again how "hard" this age is to teach. Overall, it was just a really negative experience. We switched our daughter to a different gym tonight and the atmosphere is much more positive. We are looking forward to leaving our experience at Wings Center far behind us. There are other gyms in the area who are just as good and much, much nicer.
