I’ve had nearly 20 personal training sessions with Nico and… She. Is. Amazing. I’m 50 and have never really enjoyed working out if I’m being honest but I haven’t missed a session with Nico. She’s a great boxer and coach and is encouraging but disciplined and focused on form. I appreciate that she pushes me but never in a judgmental way. She is a positive, kind soul and excellent personal trainer.

Want to give a shout out to my local 9Round - I love the workouts and the variety that is offered everyday. Having the workouts change helps keep it interesting and provide the motivation to push through even the toughest exercises! Absolutely love this gym, great for learning fundamentals but also having that extra challenge if you want it in most forms. That can be padwork, shadowboxing, doubling up the sessions, ensuring you warm up/cool down stretch and the list goes on! The stations for each round are extremely intuitive and genuinely do give you a good visual sense for what workouts you'd need to improve that specific area. 9Round truly has been a wonder for not only my fitness but my kickboxing skill in general, as I'm sure it has been for many in the wonderful community we boast! Shoutout to all the trainers as well, Nico specifically because she has been an absolute gem in pushing all of us to work hard but also learn correctly. Shoutout you, Nico!

This has been my favorite gym!! I have been going here for 2 months and see the progress already! Nico is a great trainer who makes each workout fun with 1:1 pad work while giving tips on how to improve. The best jump roping, dumbbell curling, heavy bag punching, speed hitting, ab crunching workout you can get in 30 minutes, plus warmup and cool down. Pushups, burpees, squat jumps, and more included too! All this on your own schedule. And the best trainers too, like Niko! She is a great motivator. Thanks. Prepare to sweat!

9round is a great fitness option and very reasonably priced for boxing compared to other options in the Chicago area. It's a nice addition to my fitness routine and provides an efficient, effective workout. I recommend this facility for the flexibility as well. The only drawback is that it can feel isolating since it's not a typical "group fitness" experience. I am fine with this, but I can imagine others may need others around for motivation and inspiration.

I joined 9Round Wicker Park a little over a year ago, and it continues to be a place I look forward to going. I have never been a gym or exercise person, but I knew I wanted to move more and feel stronger at my pace. 9Round Wick Park offers the flexibility to come when it works for me, complete the various stations at my pace, and still feel great. The trainers there are also very welcoming and helpful. I decided to try 9Rounds free intro session to get back into a movement routine and it was one of the best decisions! I am not a gym person, but the 9Round set up and staff sucked me in! I really enjoy the variety of movement and guided stations that change daily. It’s also nice to have the flexibility of going anytime that works for me. The trainers have all been very friendly and encouraging, helping me advance my moves and challenge myself. Special shout out to Paige, who’s been awesome in helping me learn kickboxing technique by breaking down moves and doing a 1:1 session. I leave each workout feeling strong and actually look forward to returning (haven’t always felt that way about exercise). I would recommend everyone give it a try, as it’s been a very inclusive fun place for me.

I was looking for a new gym and discovered 9round had reopened and decided to give it a try! I tried a free trial class and really enjoyed it and ended up joining! I really enjoy the mix of bag work, weights, cardio, and core work throughout the rounds, plus every week there is a new challenge at one of the rounds which is really fun to challenge yourself with. I love the open time frames and being able to go when it's most convenient for me during them. The trainers I have met are all wonderful and really make an effort to learn your name quickly and make you feel very welcomed every time you come in. I highly recommend checking it out!

I love this gym! I've done several different kinds of boxing gyms, and 9Round is my favorite. Every work out is challenging and different each time. It's an intense workout in 30 minutes and I've been really happy with how fit I've been since I started my membership. It's the perfect balance between a gym/class/personal trainer. Me and a friend of mine absolutely loved it! The trainers were amazing and very helpful. I use to have a membership with 9 rounds on fullerton but cancelled due to how far and inconvenient it was. This location is of walking distance to my house BUT extremely expensive and is a lot more than what i paid monthy at the fullerton location.

The little voice in my head said, "You can't kickbox, silly. You're too stiff, out of shape, and just plain uncoordinated."

But every day I walked past 9Round, I saw people inside punching like Rocky and doing roundhouse kicks like Swayze. I was intrigued.

So, I signed up for the free workout. And it was awesome!

I'm so glad I went. Seriously, if you are on the fence, just do it.

The trainers are incredibly supportive. As a beginner, the trainers took care of me by coaching me on how to move, punch, and kick without falling on my butt. Then they slowly build your intensity up over time.

Never in a million years did I think I would be eager to go work out. It's not boring because the workouts change every day.

Did I mention, there's no class time? I'm an instant gratification kind of gal and this place delivers. Never a wait time even when it's busy.

The little voice has been squelched. My doubts conquered. Clothes are fitting better! Legs and arms have been looking toned! I even have more energy these days.

Zero judgement in this gym. Total body workout in 30 minutes! Super motivating trainers (who know you by name) and workouts change daily as well.
