Ahimsa Yoga Studio has become my sacred space. I have taken a few yoga classes here and there, but never have I felt so welcomed. I am a Curvy gal, as well as a total klutz. The instructors are willing to assist you with modifications, if you are unable to do any of the poses, and it really is a judgement free place. Small classes, a great space, and amazing vibes.
I would have to say that my favorite aspect is the approach that many of the instructors take; the connection of yoga with your inner self. It has allowed me to remove my self doubt and break through to the energy within me. I have never, ever trusted my body and Ahimsa's yoga studio has brought me a sense of strength, confidence, and enlightenment. I could not speak more highly of a company or its employees. Ahimsa is a family, not just a business.

All the instructors are very nice and very informative when it comes to yoga and the human body. Not an intimidating environment either...very small class sizes. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

Great sessions and small class sizes make this idea for focusing on your own progressions as opposed to just trying to keep up with the crowd. I love it as a weekend closer as I work a normal 5 day 8-10 work schedule and I'm actively training in martial arts and gymnastics. Settle the body and mind and enjoy yourself. Namaste.

Beautiful little studio. I've had two different instructors so far, and I've loved them both. Jessica is soothing and calming, and I feel stretched, relaxed, and like I've had a good workout after her classes. Kendall is more playful and a little more ambitious with the poses, having us do some I've never seen before, but in such a lighthearted way, she makes you feel comfortable trying them, and even not being able to do them. I'm excited to go back to both of their classes, and to try some other instructors.

It took me a while to find a yoga class that I felt aligned with me and this is the place. It's an intimate space, but it works and there are a couple of instructors who are just awesome. Thanks Kevin and Karen.

Just updating my review - I have been coming to Yoga here for two years nowI My favorite teacher is Rhonda who is at 9 am on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. It's a very comfortable place to do Yoga and a nice little community - you get to a point where you don't want to miss a class. I love the teachers; their attitudes and the time and energy they put into their classes. I like the variety each teacher brings to the class, using oils, or blocks, blankets, etc. The teachers do meet you where you are in your practice. I like that it is not a huge space. It's also priced nicely and there is convenient parking

Ahimsa is it for yoga. I am so glad that Ahimsa opened up in Elmhurst. Don't be dismayed when you see the strange building it is hosted within. The yoga studio itself is aesthetically wonderful, and the instructors sublime.

I have been going to the Oak Park Ahimsa location for years and they have amazing instructors. It's very exciting they have now moved to Elmhurst. The space is beautiful and the instructors at the studio have lots of experience in different forms including Hatha and then Vinyasa flow.
