I took a Warm Restorative Yoga class with Autumn. She was amazing! She led a beautiful practice. Her passion for teaching came through with gentle & loving cues with the encouragement of self-acceptance. I would 10/10 recommend her to all of my friends! I intend to go back to her classes for sure. The studio is also beautiful and in a great location.

I have been meaning to write a review for my favorite yoga studio in Chicago - Iβve just been so busy taking all the classes! βΊοΈ
Ahimsa Wicker Park is a wonderful yoga studio. From the moment you step in the door, you are immediately greeted with warmth and inspiration. Every teacher has such unique teaching styles in the best possible way. They make you feel very comfortable with whatever level your practice is - but they also make sure to challenge you if they see that your practice is progressing.
Ahimsa offers a variety of class types throughout the week which is a great way to change it up day-to-day. I have been practicing yoga on and off for over 5 years & this is the only studio that has ever empowered me to be consistent with my practice. I am so lucky that this studio is in my neighborhood and that I have the opportunity to build a community & my yoga practice here! β€οΈ

I took the led primary Ashtanga yoga class with Ariel and Lily and I have to say they are amazing instructors. It was challenging in a good way and they both helped out with the poses to make sure everyone was doing it correctly. I am excited for this series and canβt wait to come back! The studio is beautiful too!

Loved the Mysore Ashtanga class with Lily and Ariel! I really appreciate a class where my postures are corrected so I can be better. Everything was great, but the unused mats scattered around the room felt overwhelming and unwelcoming, taking away from the spaciousness and beauty of the place. So, I would just suggest leaving some spaces so we can choose to use or not their mats because I do prefer to use mine.

I took a slow flow class the opening week and did the sculpt and tone class for a group event last weekend. I love the space, and the classes were the perfect balance of exercise and relaxation. I will definitely be back!

I live in the West Loop and use yoga studios as an excuse to visit different neighborhoods in the city and then grab some food nearby after the workout. Ahimsa is perfectly located in Wicker Park on Division, supplied everything needed for the session, and has some great spots to walk to and grab a bite after class. Definitely going back for their yoga and the variety of great restaurants on Division for my reward.

It's a really beautiful studio, inviting, well-organized, and with highly skilled teachers. I appreciated using the studio-provided mat and having access to multiple props. I also liked the water and tea station in the back. Parking was easy in the small attached lot. Street parking was also available. I look forward to taking more classes here and trying out all of the styles of yoga they offer. There's a variety of classes and teachers for all levels.

The new Ahimsa Wicker Park was amazing. The space was impeccable, nicely designed and welcoming. They have everything you need for class, so just show up and hit the mat. I took a vinyasa class with my adult daughter and it was outstanding. The instructor very clearly walked the class through every step with excellent details and made each pose and movement easy to follow. We walked out of there feeling grateful, calm and complete in mind, body and spirit. We will be back!

I have attended multiple classes at the new Ahimsa Wicker Park space during the Grand Opening week. The classes have been very creative, beautiful, and resonant. Each teacher brings a wonderfully unique voice and something special into the room. I'm so grateful to continue learning from such a diverse and skilled set of teachers. The class list offers several styles and times throughout the week, so it's easy to incorporate into my schedule. I can't wait to try them all.
The recently renovated space is so lovely, peaceful, and filled with the best energy. The details are so thoughtful - from the space layout, the design, brand new high end mats, aromatherapy eye pillows for savasana, a relaxing tea space, and approachable people. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.
10/10 recommend!

I attended a song ceremony for ahimsa opening celebration. It was incredibly moving and uplifting experience. From the moment I entered, I could feel the deep sense of community that the studio fosters. It is a welcoming space where everyone is invited to connect, sing and share the energy of the moment. I am looking forward to taking a yoga class at ahimsa. I left feeling inspired, deeply connected grateful to be part of such a soulful community.

You'll immediately feel a sense of calm walking into Ahimsa Wicker Park. The teachers and staff are all very kind and welcoming, and there's a small merch area including a nice selection of instruments. They've put a lot of attention to the little details, like providing high quality mats and props and even heated eye pillows for savasana. Whether you're looking for a more athletic practice with power or sculpt, or you're looking for relaxation through restorative, Ahimsa has something for everyone.
