I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the past year with Alloy Personal Training at the North Naperville location. When I first joined, I was looking for a way to improve my strength and fitness, but never imagined the impact this program would have on my physical and mental well-being.
The program is exceptional. The structure is thoughtfully designed to ensure progress every step of the way. It's challenging but always achievable and I've seen continuous improvement in my strength and endurance. Whether you're a beginner or more advanced, the program adapts to your needs, ensuring that you're constantly pushed but never overwhelmed. What really sets this group apart is the incredible team of trainers - Matt, Mike, Addie, Justin and Joe - they are so supportive, kind, and genuinely invested in every member's journey. They make every class feel personal, taking the time to ensure proper form, providing modifications when needed, and celebrating everyone's successes, no matter how big or small. They push you to be your best and know when to offer a word of encouragement. I always looked forward to every session, knowing that I will leave feeling stronger and inspired.
In just one year, I have gained strength physically, mentally, and emotionally and I can't thank Alloy enough for the role they played in that. If you're looking for a program that delivers real results, a team that cares, and an environment that fosters growth, look no further! Thank you, Alloy, for everything!

I really like Alloy a lot. I always have a lot of fun during the classes. The workouts are great and challenging. I have lost weight and gained muscle. Addie, Mike and Justin are all phenomenal coaches who are very nice, caring and supportive. The facility has a vast variety of weights including heavy weights that I prefer. Alloy is an all around great place. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great work out and in a fun/private atmosphere.

I am so happy to have found Alloy! I was desperate to get rid of my “mummy tummy” after baby #3 but every time I got into a workout groove, a previously injured area would flare up and set me back. With all the starts and stops I never made any real gains.

Enter Alloy. They have worked with me and my injuries to help me lose weight and get stronger at a steady pace. The coaches are great, there is a great sense of community and this has quickly become one of my favorite places to be.

Joining Alloy last year has been one of the best decisions I have made, I had severe knee pain when I joined around 8-9 months ago. This has all but completely vanished with my 3 days per week workout at Allloy. The staff here is incredibly supportive and at this time feels like family to me.I love the workouts and have gone from strength to strength and have never felt better about my health. I have tried multiple programs but nothing has come close to how much Alloy has helped me. I look forward to becoming an even more healthier and stronger version of myself with Alloy, its staff and the incredible community they have created!

I’ve been going to Alloy for a little over a month now, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! As someone who is just starting out on my fitness journey, I really appreciate how they can tailor the sessions to fit individual needs and goals. The trainers are fantastic- knowledgeable, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. Highly recommend to anyone, whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your fitness!

I truly love going to this gym! Each one of the trainers are knowledgeable and positive in their approach to everyone. Each is also good at modifying a move I have trouble with so I can complete it. Each has a great sense of humor and help make each workout a positive experience.

All the trainers at Alloy are fun, knowledgeable and helpful! If you need accommodations for any exercise they are there for you. If you want to lift heavy and train hard they support that and if you want to go easy and light they support that. The small class size is helpful to make sure each person can get individual attention from the trainers. Give them a try!

I am pretty sure I couldn't love my experience at Alloy North more than I do. What started as a "maybe I will try it for a few months" has quickly turned into a - "I can't imagine NOT doing this." I honestly look forward to my workouts - which I've never said before in my life.

I was leery to try several of the other workout places mentioned in these reviews because many felt intimidating to me. And while at one point in my life I considered myself an athlete - I was truly worried I would hurt myself trying to keep up. Justin and Mike (and Matt the owner) KNOW me - they know my weak spots and have helped me overcome them (shoulder and knee pain) and gain strength. Everyone is different - it's all ages, sizes, men and women and you are only trying to beat your previous workout. This community is everything.

The hardest part of this workout for me - was walking through the front door for the first time. I'm so glad I did and I've learned so much about myself and what I can do. I feel better, stronger and more confident. And an added bonus - is working out and keeping up with my teenage sons.
It's a pretty special environment at Alloy and I'm grateful to be here!

This is my first review post for anything ever! But I just felt the need to do this post. I have been part of the Alloy family for a little over a year now and looking forward for the next several years. This is the best workout. Class sizes are small. The trainers are great and will customize to your needs. And it truly feels like a new family experience. You can't put a price tag on health, and one of the best thing that I have done for my health is Alloy.

I have been at Alloy for a little over a year, and while I only am able to go to sessions one time a week, the trainers have taken the time to get to me and my ability and push me accordingly. They have encouraged me to push myself and believe in me when I don’t. The small group environment is something that I have found very comforting as we really get to know each other and support each other. There are many laughs had even through the sweat and the pain, lol! I am really glad that I have made Alloy a part of my fitness journey!

I’ve had a great experience with Alloy. Flexible schedules. Knowledgeable trainers who can adjust workouts based on your ability. The workouts are challenging. But the trainers will never yell or push you beyond reason or capability. And everyone is so encouraging. We cheer and push each other during our workouts. But I’ve never felt intimidated. I would highly recommend for those who are new to strength training and those who are more seasoned.

I started coming to alloy ~6 months postpartum and now I’m 9 months postpartum and feeling great. I love all the instructors and the classes are always great (hard but great!). I love that it feels like a tight knit community having smaller classes. Getting instructor help has also been so good for my postpartum recovery. Highly recommend!

My experience working out with Alloy Personal Training has been awesome!
The trainers give you a full demonstration on what workout you will be doing that day. They watch to make sure your form is correct. Each day I go it is a new workout so it hits different muscle groups. If you have injuries they adapt the workout. It is a small class so you build friendships. When I leave class that day I’m exhausted and feel great at the same time!

I have been working out with Alloy for over a year and I have posted in the past how much I love this place. The staff, the equipment,, the direction and assistance are all A+... But I would like to explain another reason this place is special for me. I was in pretty good condition for a 66 year old man, but I had a setback. I was attempting to take out my
90 ib. Bernese mountain dog, but he decided he wanted to play and instantly wrapped his attached lease around my legs a couple of times and I had no chance. I fell down 8 stars and landed on a tile floor. I broke my femur and hip with has taken months to heal but ever couple months Matt Lacosse would call or text to see how I’m doing. I can’t wait to get back to the routine. I cannot praise this place enough, obviously!

You work out with small group but there a 3 stations, so you are not all doing the same thing at the same time (as in aerobics classes). You focus on a certain set of muscles each time. They adapt the exercises to your level. The best thing: the coaches are very encouraging and positive, as are the others in your class. It is the culture of the organization. That makes me a lot more eager to go to each class (unlike the gym 😉). It’s the opposite of my high-school girls’ PE class, which was like boot camp with a mean sargeant. 😄

I don’t usually post reviews, but after coming out of my doctor’s office I felt like it might help those of you thinking about joining this gym or asking yourselves is it worth it?
Early December I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic and the Dr. recommended I lose weight. With no hesitation I signed up at Alloy for 3 sessions per week. At first my drive was a hike (35-40 min), but every time I finished I felt stronger, healthier and naturally made better food choices because I knew someone was helping me through the process. Mike & team are awesome! They keep me motivated, help work through all my pains by adjusting the exercises to fit my condition.
Today I followed up with my Doctor, I’m no longer pre-diabetic and have lost 5 pounds.
I am beyond thankful! Alloy is not your average gym. They care. Your win, is their win!

I have been at Alloy North Naperville for a year. I find it to be the perfect solution for anyone who is trying to improve themselves and also needs workouts that are planned, progress that is tracked, and coaches/trainers that are passionate about helping you get there in a healthy manner. What sets Alloy apart from Orange Theory is that it is less cardio-based and more focused on proper mechanics of strength training. Where it differs from Crossfit is that quality is more important than quantity. The aggressive push to finish a WOD is typically where injuries happen, Alloy works with you to get around any injuries or limitations. This also differs from personal training as it is cheaper as a small group. Having done Orange Theory, Crossfit, and 1-on-1 personal training, I can say that this has been the most enjoyable stretch of strength training in my life! Get yourself to Alloy to jump-start your strength fitness!

Can’t say enough good things about Alloy Naperville!

I joined Alloy 11 months ago with the intention of sticking around for maybe 3 months to establish a fitness routine. But it’s been such an incredible experience that I can’t imagine ever stopping! From my very first visit, Matt and Mike made me feel welcome and reassured me that I could succeed at Alloy and would fit right in.

The energy that Jamie, Mike, Justin, and Stacy bring to every class is truly motivating and inspiring. The sessions are filled with people of all different fitness levels, ages, and abilities, and the coaches are great at making sure everyone gets exactly what they need from each workout.

What really sets Alloy apart is the community. In addition to the wonderful coaches, the people I’ve met in class are friendly and supportive—there’s no intimidating “gym bro” vibe here, just a welcoming environment.

If you’re even considering trying Alloy, I’d say go for it! I’m confident you’ll love it as much as I do.

P.S. – Since joining Alloy, I’ve gained muscle, lost fat, and feel better and stronger than I have in years!

Great new place in naperville at the corner of Ogden and Naperville road…convenient location, flexible early morning and evening sessions and Saturday morning hours as well. Ample parking available. There could be 8-10 people in session at once and it doesn’t feel like your in tight spaces. There is a back side door for a nice air flow to pass through on a warm/hot day. They are well priced and more goal oriented
