Assisted stretching with Amanda has been wonderful! She quickly understood exactly what my body needed to feel better, and her vibe is warm and inclusive. I go every week now! I would 100% recommend assisted stretching sessions with her to get at those nagging aches and pains or day-to-day stiffness.

I worked with another group-gym program for about 18 months some years ago, which, while helpful to start out with, got too repetitive, and I eventually felt like I wasn’t advancing as much as I could have. Now working with Amanda, I can tell she is constantly gauging where I am, which makes me feel safe. As a 60-something person in a physically taxing job, I really can not afford any setbacks, but she also pushes me, sometimes beyond what I think I can do. Yet in over a year, I have never once been injured or even overly sore. This is a big deal for me in being able to do my work. She also always wants to know when something hurts (my knees mostly) so she can modify the move, and she always makes it work. I really appreciate her background in Feldenkrais (a movement therapy) and mobility/stretching for those few times I don’t feel well enough to do serious resistance training but want to do something to make me feel better in my body, and she has always come through in that way. Amanda is positive, encouraging, and firm. She is really changing my sense of what is possible in terms of thriving as I get older.

In November of 2024 I had surgery for a torn meniscus requiring six-weeks of non-weight bearing on my right leg. In my pre-surgery freakout about losing all of fitness, I was introduced to Amanda....thank gosh! Amanda came came to my house every week (sometimes 2x a weeks) over the entire period. She was uber careful to support my physical therapy protocol, found creative workarounds and pushed me hard to keep my upper body and lower body moving. The results are that I'm transitioning back to full mobility stronger than when I started. I can't recommend Amanda highly enough she is a fantastic trainer!!

I've been seeing Amanda for the last few weeks and I've seen a noticable difference in my flexibility! I'm recovering from an upper back injury and her assisted stretching sessions have definitely helped my healing process. I would highly recommend booking a few sessions with Amanda if you're interested in improving your flexibilty. You will see results!

Before starting assisted stretching with Amanda, I was very tight in my lower body, particularly my calf, quad and hamstring muscles. I really wanted to loosen up to make everyday movements more comfortable as I get older. Amanda has been extremely helpful. She’s knowledgeable, professional, attentive and very personable. She’s great to work with and the location of her practice at Tribe is very welcoming and immaculate. I’m already seeing improvements after a few weeks and I always feel great after the sessions. If you’re willing to put the work in to improve your physical health, Amanda is a perfect person to have in your corner. I highly recommend her!

I am so glad I found Amanda before her. I had been getting Cortizone shot and having physical therapy once a month, but I had overall stiffness that would not go away. After even the first session, I noticed a difference I told her it was like taking a deep breath in a forest preserve in Hawaii. After each treatment, I noticed more and more ability to walk without shuffling and being without pain. Although I am 73 years old, I do have the spirit of someone much younger, and I had noticed a lack of energy. After all of the sessions that I have attended , my energy level has increased significantly well it may not seem like much, but the ability to just jump out of bed do some housecleaning and clear the garbage and do every day things are not so much a dreaded chore anymore. These sessions have actually given me my life back, I have not been able to go out much, but in this last month, nearly every day has been filled with a fun activity , I look forward to spending more time with my grandkids and other members of my family. I would like to thank Amanda so very much words cannot explain how much she has helped me in my day-to-day life and actually like I’ve said before she’s giving me my life back, so thank you Amanda and I hope all others have found you as helpful and enabling , well enabling is not the right word, but has assisted them and doing more than their sitting in front of the television

I use a wheelchair and because of that I have a lot of tightness in ways other people don’t. Before I started working with Amanda I was very stiff and wasn’t even able to touch my toes. After painless once a week sessions for a few months I am able to touch my toes and move in so many ways I didn’t think were possible! It feels almost too good to be true, I didn’t have to put in almost any work and now I have my full range of motion back thanks to Amanda. (During this time I haven’t been doing any other physical therapy or independent stretching so I know it is all her!) I would highly recommend stretching with Amanda for anyone who wants to become more flexible and more in touch with their body.

I've been working with Amanda for the last 6 months in the personal training space. I highly recommend Amanda! The results I've had have blown past my expectations of what I thought was possible. Amanda is incredibly skilled at diagnosing your body mechanics depending on your goals. I've never felt healthier and I've been active most of my adult life. Also Amanda is a lovely person and incredibly present and positive. She will be very meticulous with your form, which is what you lack from group or online classes/videos. The fact she comes to my home also makes it incredibly convenient and doable.
