I attended a class here while driving through on a road trip. I felt comfortable the moment I walked through the door. And it's the only yoga class I've ever been in where participants were cheering for each other! It was so much fun – I'll be back someday! Very grateful to have found an inclusive, welcoming, encouraging yoga studio.

And Then There Was Well is everything I have looked for in a yoga studio and community since moving back to Oak Park in 2015. Marissa has passionately curated a place of healing, growth, and support that is essential in our village. Their team emanates kindness, passion, love, and endless support. There aren’t quite words for the calm that flows over you upon entering. The value of this experience extends far beyond your time on the mat and I am ever grateful to have access to this inspiring team and space.

My favorite yoga studio in Oak Park! I feel such a warm welcome every time I come here. It feels like practicing yoga with friends. The flo to the beat classes are so fun with great music, and I love that they have special events and donate a portion of proceeds for certain classes to important causes. Highly recommend!

This studio is everything. Yoga culture can be intimidating and it has kept me out of public practice spaces. I have had a growing interest in yoga over the last 20 years and this is the first studio I’ve been to that feels like home. From the instructors to the members, everyone is welcoming and open. The classes are varied and as challenging as you make them. There are monthly charitable donations woven into the fabric of their community based classes. 15/10 highly recommend that you come check out the space, energy, and mission of &ttww.

Absolutely love this place and the community it is home to. I’ve met the most wonderful people and improved my practice so much since I started. Marissa is so welcoming and hospitable to students new and old. Could not recommend a better place to practice!!!

Finally got some mommy yoga in! I was very much excited to for this session. I chose the 8:30am Gentle Flo class facilitated by Marissa.

Upon entering the studio you will appreciate the color scheme and array of plants. The atmosphere was fresh and clean. Marissa’s voice projected through the the room so calmly, I almost fell asleep twice. She’s patient and affirming. She provided me with bottled water.
I felt like every other participant in the class despite her noticing my belly bump. She didn’t let me slack, she made sure I was positioned properly during every pose.

I thought I heard her mention teaching kids as well. There are multiple instructors, classes at every level, and you can even participate virtually if you prefer. Social distancing takes place inside the studio according to the green markers on the floor. Masks are required. The studio provides space for your shoes and other belongings.

I encourage all to check this place out! There’s option to just drop in or commit to a membership.

Next time I visit I’ll be sure to take some pics!

Love this studio! Classes are varied and available to all skill levels. Teachers give lots of options for alternative poses. For regular students, teachers encourage us to try new poses and expand our practice as we grow stronger. This is a good place to come if you want to learn how to do yoga safely and have good form as you practice. I particularly love morning flows with Marissa and meditation and deep stretch classes with Caitlin.
