This is the second time I came to this gym in caton Farm and I wasn’t able to go through the door using my key access on my phone.

It sucks being locked out and have pre workout in my system.

Can never get a hold of anyone!!!! Tried to cancel my account and was told it was done over the phone. A month later I have 3 charges from them. Called back and was told I needed to sign something, which I specifically asked if something like that was needed in the first place and was told no. I sent back the form on Friday and was told someone would reach out by Monday. Well Monday came and went and still nothing. I have been trying to get this taken care of since mid April. I call and leave voicemails and no return call, I have sent countless emails and no response. Not sure how hard it is to cancel a membership or to get a damn call back or reply back. Would not recommend the Caton farm location to anyone.

Facility cleanliness: Occasional dust and broken towel dispensers create a less polished impression. Consistent cleaning and ensuring dispensers are promptly refilled would contribute to a more inviting atmosphere.
Comparison to other Anytime Fitness locations: I recently visited another Anytime Fitness location and was impressed by its overall condition compared to ours. Aiming to achieve similar standards across all branches would elevate the experience for members.
Overall:

This Anytime Fitness location offers a convenient option due to its proximity to my home. However, I believe that improvements in equipment maintenance, cleanliness, and consistency with other branches would create a more positive and enjoyable experience for all members.

I have been going to this gym ever since it has opened. It is very economical for people that just need the basic to get a good workout. I am just tired of things not working there for not just months but for over a year! Trust me? It’s not the managers fault on duty it is the owner! We pay a yearly fee on top of our monthly fee and this stuff doesn’t get fixed. The gym on 135th also has the same stuff out of order. Why do we pay the yearly fee if nothing is getting fixed!

One star review because you can't leave zero stars. Add me to the long list of people charged after cancelling my membership here. I should have known better than to join after reading other negative reviews from people charged after they cancelled. Figured I would take a chance and make sure I was careful about cancelling. It's now clear the charges are intentional and this is just how they do "business." Charge people bull*hit fees and hope they don't notice so they can pad their bottom line.

Overall Gym is small but it was managed well and maintained well.

My issue with this facility is that i had canceled my membership and they were still charging for 4 months straight after I signed the cancelation form.

Even when I brought their mistake to their attention they still have YET to refund me $130.

It has been 40 days since I brought this mistake to their attention and still no refund.

If this is how they run a business then they have some bad growing pains to grow through as business owners . Highly dissatisfied with the service

Avoid this place. The gym itself is decent but the staff is absolutely clueless and completely unhelpful. Cancelling my membership has been a 6+ month process now. After it took a month to make contact in the first place, I was able to go in and cancel my membership in February. Filled out the form and was told that it was taken care of. Now in May I am still being charged and nobody from the club has contacted me back despite numerous calls and emails. I even physically went into the gym twice during staffed hours and nobody was there to help me. After being a member for over 3 years I hoped it would be a simple cancellation process but it is clear that management and employees don’t care about helping you once they have you under contract already. After reading multiple other reviews of people with a similar experience I am extremely disappointed in this place.

DO. NOT. JOIN. THIS. GYM!!!!! Go somewhere else. I've been trying to leave this gym for over a month and the management is dodging me. They tried to take advantage of my pregnant wife, telling her she can't quit the gym, so I had to call and they told us to fill out a form and then we did it that day and they never reached out to us. Then they charged us an annual fee of $140 plus I've now paid for 2 more months of membership. I've left message after message and no one ever calls back. Literally ever. I've never received one call from them. I've called corporate and are now entering into a lawsuit and a claim with the better business bureau. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND LIARS!!!!!

They are very overpriced and lock you into a one year deal and force you to pay for two months after cancelling membership plus a cleaning fee two months after cancelling. The staff was not on site during their hours and ignored my emails and calls to try and stop the payment, which they charged me two months after taking my key fob. Overall the gym is small and doesn’t have many weights or racks. Wouldn’t recommend

Experience was great no waiting on a machine everything is where it's supposed to be as far as weights and managers are humble and very welcoming it's a great gym better than LA Fitness

Update 8/16/21: after dropping from the gym due to covid and other things I'm back at anytime and it feels the same but the cleanliness is lacking a bit on the machines and the hygiene materials to clean equipment is always empty when I go to the gym so that can be worked on but other than that everything is fine love the place still

This is the worst gym! The management is a joke! I cancelled my membership 5months ago! And they’re still charging me! I moved to a different state!! I have called numerous times as well as sent emails; the staff (Aliyah who I believe is the manager there and others) I have spoken to say they will call me back to reimburse me but no return call has been made. At first glance it is a larger Anytime Fitness very clean and lots of machines but at prime after work time the parking lot was full. I've only gone once so not sure if this is a frequent situation or just the one time I've gone. I'll update when I head back in a couple weeks.

Active duty military on leave, when I joined I asked if I could cancel when I go back to base, yes they said. I cancelled and was still being charged 5 months later. I wrote three emails and a handwritten letter to the owner with no response and called the gym with no answers why I was still being charged and then refused to refund my money. This is what I get for trying to stay in shape while visiting my family back from a deployment.

I'm so glad this gym is here! 24 hour service. Nice amenities. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Only knock on it could be the price ($30.00 or more), location next to a bar (noisy at night, bar patrons can be mehhh) as well as size and lack of a pool or dedicated locker room. Once I walked in I was greeted by the manager, and shown around. She was more than pleasant, and very cordial. The gym is very clean, and has a lot to offer anyone of any type of fitness. I wont even look at LA Fitness, or anywhere else. Its good to have these independently owned gyms around the corporate ones.

Such a wonderful and positive environment to workout in. The owners are friendly, attentive and available to answer questions or assistance with equipment whenever they are around.
Lastly, they have a nice selection and variety of classes to fit ALL fitness levels!
